General | Posted 2 years agoSo today (April 30 2023) marks one year since my FA account creation so I've been in here for a year now haha
I think it's been a relatively fine "journey" up to this point... Made some new interests (like webcomics, which and friends, but also lost some friends in Discord (they distanced from me) :v and also reconnected with some previous ones because of it...
But I think things have overall improved since then... not just for me but really most other people, don't want to sound narcissistic or self-centered here, I really should think twice before saying things nowadays
Made a new character for myself since then (Vanessa, which I only got drawn some days ago)... started college but backed out because I couldn't immerse myself well in the course I was doing, I'll probably return later for something else different
Just wanted to write a little journal to "celebrate" this, hope you all who read this, today or later, have a nice day and future too

Descriptions of Sam and Kernel/Cedar, my two OCs
General | Posted 3 years agoSince i made my FA i just set the description of my OCs short and/or simple in my profile but would want to describe them further some day, and i decided that is today
the "short/simple descriptions" in my profile as im writing this are:
"Sam Visco is just the name of my (main) OC, a goo creature thingy, but i do have another: Kernel, a male micro day gecko (Phelsuma genus) which can grow to a tall (but still "realistic" for real-life standards) green dragon which is then named Cedar
Maybe i can explain better about my characters some other day..."
CHARACTER SPECIES: Shapeshifter goo creature, usually in a bat form / Micro anthro gecko which can grow into a dragon
Not too short i believe but after i finish this ill edit them and link to this journal where its easier to read and understand
Although i dont have any ref of them made, don't have anything made with fem Sam, and Cedar/Kernel was never even drawn to begin with despite being the first one to be created >_<
Despite wanting i am not going into lewd, NSFW details about them (for now at least)
Sam Visco (could be short for both Samuel or Samantha, i just chose the surname for formal purposes) is an anthro goo/slime/ooze creature, whatever you call those. They use any pronouns but i use "they" to refer to them normally without any specific form in mind.
They're almost always in a bat appearance (specifically a grey-headed flying fox), with small wings, pointy bat ears, neck fluff and footpaws. They can change their appearance to different body types, heights or animal features. Sam always has bright yellow or golden eyes. Despite their wings and usually small body, they can only "fly" to hover, float and jump higher, up to 2 m (6 ft and half) above the ground. They still can glide and move around while floating but not go any higher.
Despite being a goo i they have a few "hard" parts, those being their inner core (a little glass-looking ball inside their chest, they can survive in case their goo vanishes but the core is intact), teeth and possible nails (as well as any other non-bat animal features like hooves, claws or antlers)
Sam's height is usually 127 cm (4'2", used to be 142 cm / 4'8" but i made them even shorter) but they can change at will to anywhere from 90 (3 ft) to 195 cm (6'5"), Sam also weighing 42 kg (92 lbs) but they can weigh up to 110 kg (242 lbs) if they choose to be lazy and gluttonous when absorbing stuff...
By absorbing water or other fluids they have their own little specific transformations they can choose to have, like making them get the colors of each fluid, maybe i could also describe those transformations and other NSFW aspects in a future journal
I think that by absorbing fluids and mass (and obviously with magic too) they could bypass some of those size limits and grow further
They still need to eat, but can choose to not digest stuff, i think you can guess what purpose that serves, hehe
Sam's usual attire is a white lab coat, blue shirt underneath, black skirt or pants, and yellow rain boots or hightop/converse shoes, i like to imagine all their clothing is custom ordered and made, to be stretchy and tight, fitting them at all possible normally occurring body sizes they can have or choose to have, as well as to not get too messy with their goo
I think they're not the type of goo that is normally too fluid and drippy, but they can still melt (turning more fluid) at will and are normally a liquid at room temperature (albeit a very slowly moving one), their state of matter changing similarly to Bromine (not necessarily implying they're made of it, just because the points feel ok to me, not too cold nor not "too" hot): freezing under -5 °C (+23 °F), liquid above that, boiling at 55 °C (131 °F) above - Like i mentioned in the core, in case that happens but their core is intact they still survive and their body will reform upon the core reaching a large enough body of liquid.
I believe that is all... now onto Kernel/Cedar (male or neutral pronouns ok)
I'm calling him two names like this because they're both the same character but different names for his different forms:
Kernel is an anthro micro gecko, 10 cm (4 inches) tall, likely weighing only a few grams, based on two closely related colorful gecko species: the gold dust day gecko and the yellow-headed day gecko, both "day geckos", part of the same Phelsuma genus.
If you look up photos of them i believe you'll see them and make my explanation of their looks easier to imagine. They have body colors and markings of both species: The orange back and head markings, green body, blue paws and eye outline of the gold dust day gecko, and the blue tail, black side stripe, yellow head of the yellow-headed day gecko.
But when they're feeling fed and confident, Kernel can grow into Cedar...
Cedar is a short (but no longer micro) dark green dragon, 90 cm (3 ft) tall, 30 kg (66 lbs) heavy tops.
Kernel's markings are only vestiges in that form, black outlines in Cedar's dark green body. Cedar has small wings as well, and short, blunt horns, and retractable claws. Despite being short, Cedar unlike Sam can fly around at will, and he is strong for his size, being able to lift and carry his friends.
HUFF, i think that is all, since this is a journal i assume i'll take some time to write about notes and myself.
Note 1: "Visco", Sam's surname, i chose both because of the obvious pun with "viscous" and also that it sounds like an Iberian name, which i like and think fits me as i'm brazilian irl, hehe
Note 2: I initially wanted Cedar to be lighter but changed it because of friends saying dragons are denser than humans
Note 3: I wanted to write a little "timeline" on their creation and development but i'm, too tired now... another post and idea in my list...
Writing about myself: Today i am fine but bored, i got distracted and even more bored several times while writing this and only finished it after a bit under 3 hours, i thought it would be a nice pastime but i just kept remembering more stuff and checking if i hadnt forgotten any and it somewhat annoyed me a little, i may have forgotten some i wanted to mention too...
For now, see you all soon, i also changed my FA profile picture today to an image i think looks better

First day...
General | Posted 3 years agoWell, ive been a furry for a long time now, but only today i created this account, maybe i will use it just to follow some friends around (that i already know from discord) and see things but maybe i'll also get into making things myself?
I got a few stuff of my OC made by myself ages ago and by other people too but as far as i know the only place outside discord where my OC exists is here, in a post a friend made once they drew me:
