If it even needs saying...
Posted 11 months agoI voted Dem. I would've gone even more socialist if that were a practical, realistic option, but this electoral system is a joke.
More to the point, if you voted for the rotten carrot...then fuck you, and I don't want to hear another word from someone who'd support the loon who has, demonstrably, made life worse for me, my friends, and my community through fascist hate. Go rot.

For the most part...
Posted 7 years agoI've been posting on twitter these days. Sort of just built up a backlog of things that were easier to put up there instead of here, and given how large the gap between here and there's gotten, that's pretty much where all the stuff is.
Pardon the flood!

Filler Journal
Posted 10 years agoSince the last one's several months old, thought I'd just put this one up in its stead.
I'm not open for stories much anymore, not really into full-on writing anymore. Helps I've gotten a paying job of late, so at least I'm not having to write to cover my myriad commissions. Otherwise...things have been so-so, starting to lean towards good again.

Help a friend
Posted 11 years agoAlright, a dear friend,
samael, is having some computer troubles. Far be it for him to ask, but I'd rather help him where I can.
SO! I'mma suggest anyone who reads this go over and commission him, donate to him, whatever you feel like. He's a top-notch artist, and a lovely guy who deserves every bit of love and goodness he can get.
His art's adorable beyond words, it's cheap, and he's open right now. Give what'cha can for it, it'll be worth every cent and then some.

Come now, stories for sale!
Posted 12 years ago$5 per page, gimme a rough description for what'cha want, and I'll see what I can produce! Besides, I'm desperately in need of the cash to stay afloat.
The way it works is so: I write, and only once I've got a completed story do I ask for payment, and the moment I've got that, I send you your story. Though in order to send it, I'll need an email address or Skype to send it to.

Extra Humble Bundle keys
Posted 12 years agoWelp. Another Humble Bundle rolled through, and with it, I have a gaggle of extra games I'm liable never to actually play, or already own, either because I don't think I'd like them or I refuse to use Origin. SO! I'm handing out Steam AND Origin keys to those who ask, for the following games (remain):
STEAM:
-Crysis 2 Maximum Edition *taken*
ORIGIN:
-Dead Space
-Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box
-Crysis 2 Maximum Edition
-Medal of Honor
-Mirror's Edge
Comment, and I will note the keys on a first-come, first-serve basis.

N'much to report.
Posted 12 years agoIgnore this if ya wish, I'm just trying to cover older journals. So far, life's been good enough to me. Little bored, little hyper, but I'm making money, so it's all good.
C'mon, now, stories for sale!

Story commissions
Posted 13 years agoI'mma reopen for commissions and basically keep it open for long as I feel. Price is now $5 per page, and the arrangement is the same as before: You don't pay until I tell you I've got a completed story for ya, and once I receive the payment, you get your story. And please, remember to give me some reasonably fleshed-out premises, so I can work from a decent start. Also, I'll work with just about any subject that isn't guro or extremely disgusting.
To indicate interest and discuss details of the story, please note me. I'll accept comments here, but notes are probably for the best.
All payments to be made via paypal, to gravgun@hotmail.com. Either give me an e-mail address to send the story to, or some other means of getting it to ya, like Skype, YIM, and so on.

Hawken combat
Posted 13 years agoExperiment closed
Posted 13 years agoWell, After a little over a week's time, I've decided to close the experiment down, calling it a minor success. Despite getting only one commissioner the entire time, I managed a halfway-decent story by my opinion, AND I made a meager, but for the effort applied, decent amount of cash. So, I may open up later and try this again, maybe after revising the pricing method a bit.
Thanks to Avarios, the one person to commission me the entire time!

An Experiment.
Posted 14 years agoLadies and Gentlemen, I think it's time I did a little experiment. That experiment is to try my hand at taking story commissions. Why? I'm dead short on money and could do with some, and hence I'mma open for 'em, and see how things go.
Shall be roughly $4 per page, since I haven't the first clue how I'll do with actually receiving commissions and doing them just now. Payment to be tendered when I complete the story, so don't worry about commissioning then getting ripped off. Paypal address is gravgun[at]hotmail.com
If at all possible, be as expansive and detailed about your premise as possible. "Coon girl gets fwoomped" is a tad sparse for my unskilled capabilities.
Speaking of which, on the matter of content, I'll take just about anything that doesn't involve gore.

The Joys of Programming
Posted 14 years agoDid you know that, when you succeed at it, it feels pretty damn good despite the huge amounts of work it often takes? Even if the tasks are required, it feels nice to finish that last compiling and finally get a fully-functioning program exactly as the requirements request. Hell, I did one entirely for myself, to get a correct ETA on Steam downloads (since Steam's own ETA result is uproariously off), and after testing it to make sure it works...I felt good! I guess a lil' hard work on something you find interesting DOES pay off!
Well. Where to start.
Posted 16 years agoHuzzah for me, it's Spring Break now, thank god. Anywho, I don't know what to put here, since I'm probably going to stay obscure for most of my life in matters of art, seeing as I'm lucky something just above stick figures is manageable for me. I consider myself a half-decent writer, but muse is tough to get into my mind, and often that shorts out as well. Ah well. I most often love to RP with furs in various odd scenarios, often based on games I'm playing at the time. Speaking of which, I'm an avid gamer, and live life to game, and become pro. Of course, the final step I imagined would be to actually develop and code games to eventually sell to the world and benefit from, both financially and in the knowledge I've given a form of grand entertainment to the people. One trait you'll normally recognize me by if we were to meet is, other than the tendency not to capitalize, my mind-numbing attention to grammar and spelling. No "lol" or "omg u haxxors" and all that razamataz. I'm on the shy side, and might often present myself to be cold and uncaring as an ingrained defense reflex or something or other. Still, if you strike me as a person reasonably fun or sane, or perchance both, then by all means I'd say we'd make good friends. Oh, and you've probably already guessed, but yes, I'm a diaperfur, so let's just get that hurdle outta the way right here and now before a commotion starts over it. Heh.
