so... hurricane irene update. everythings sort of fine here. i have power (though some of my campus doesnt) and there are a few downed trees but nothing got hit major... but yay! first class of the semester was cancelled for "clean up". makes this pretty cool..

and its about 12-13 hours since it hit here, and i was walking around outside and its beautiful out. not too hot or humid like its been the past couple of days. just a little windy but nice. :)
