Posted 5 years agoSo I have started college here in Savannah, Georgia. I'm attending Georgia Southern University. Never really thought that I would be accepted into a state university. xD But here we are. It has taken up most of my time. I have been getting into a lot of different things since I had been medically retired from the Army. I still frequent the gym as often as my body allows me to. But university takes up the majority of my time. I think I hadn't been on this site for about a month but I will try to be a little more active. I am usually on Twitter a bit. I don't post any lewdies on there. That's what FurAffinity is for generally. Not much of a reason why. I just prefer to keep the lewdness on here instead. I'll go through the Favorites that have accumulated after I am done taking a quiz that I have today. Gotta catch up a little bit on that sorta thing. Also been hanging out a lot with furries in my area, which there are an abundance of believe it or not. I wasn't expecting this many when we first moved here. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten much in the way of commissions in the last couple of months or drawn really at all. Time is a bit more limited than usual. Hope that everyone is doing well. Posted 7 years agoThings have happened. Nothing too bad, I suppose. I've officially been retired from the military at the ripe old age of 29. I have been acquiring more and more art and will be posting them in the near future. I've mostly been catching up on Favoriting art on here. I love looking at other artist's work. Also been working on college and improving my own artwork. Developed an "alternate version" of Kyle, me, whatever as an Alpine Musk Deer. Just something to play around with.
I'll be starting to get into the Information Technology and Cyber Security fields in September with courses and such. I'm also saving up for my next convention, which will either be TFF or FWA. I really need to make up my goddamn mind. I'm usually on Telegram almost everyday. Unless I get tired of socializing, which happens to us all from time to time.
Life is pretty good in Savannah, Georgia. I would highly suggest it for a place to visit. It's got a little bit of everything. Plus, it's not a huge city with monolithic buildings built to make us feel insignificant like other cities. It's more intimate with a Southern charm.

Posted 7 years agoIs anyone else as excited as I am for the latest installment for Fallout?!? I’m preeettyyyyy sure y’all know that I adore the series. I was elated to hear that there would be a new installment in this franchise.Oddly enough, this news comes as I finished New Vegas. We’ll see what happens. I probably won’t be watching E3, because I never really do, buuuuuutt don’t let me stop y’all. Any other games y’all are looking forward to? I’m also looking forward to Let’s Go, Pikachu! Posted 7 years agoHi y'all. Just wanted to give a bit of an update on what I have been up to. I'm going to be getting out of the military sometime this year. Things have happened and I am not really physically capable of doing my job any longer. We've also bought a house here in Savannah, Georgia. I am planning on getting a fursuit. Since I am transitioning from the military to civilian, I will be looking into college as well as work towards the next chapter of my professional life. I will be going into Information Technology. I've already gotten a start on it. I recently have been awarded my COMPTIA A+ certification. This field is kind of exciting for me. It's new to me, and was intimidating at first. I don't currently have any plans on attending any conventions in 2018 but who knows what'll happen.

Convention Stories
Posted 8 years agoIt's time now for another rousing story time. This story comes to you from last year at Anthrocon 2016 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Hometown of my good friend 
🎵 So what had happened was, it was Saturday at the convention. I had been kidnapped several times by several people all throughout the convention because that's just happens to me and numerous other at these things apparently. For most of the con, I found myself around
most frequently. 🎵 Anyways, I was waiting on my friends to get ready for whatever that night. So I stopped at the local watering hole for homos. I don't call the name, no I wasn't drunk. But it was right next to Tonic. I stopped in and sat next to an older guy. Like, much older than me. Retirement age. It was the first open seat I had seen. I ordered a Jack and Coke, one my personal favorites. <3
🌮 I finished my drink, and the older guy commenced small chat. I politely engaged him. Shortly, a really tall older guy came up to me saying that I had taken his seat even though there was no indication of that seat being utilized (glasses, personal belongings). At first he was a bit hostile, he had to be 6 foot 3. I talked to him like any Southerner would. With "sir" this and "sir" that. Musta confused him or something but he got real polite afterwards and was asking where I was from. I politely informed him that I hail from Georgia. Where politeness is beaten into us. xD He warmed up to me as the other gentleman had. And apologized. But I was weary of the tall man. I was actually hoping that I could talk my way out of it instead of making an attempt at dropping his ass in front of everyone. I don't think that would go over well with locals. I fight dirty. If there is such a thing.
🌮 I went back to my conversation. Come to find out the first gentleman was a retired school teacher and current choir director for his church. Or that is what he had told me. Saying that some of the females in his choir wanted to do their own thing. I told him that you have to exude your authority. He went and bought me a shot of Jack Daniel's 💙 and a shot of Fireball. Fun fact, the Army loves loves loves whiskey and I am no exception. (Subliminal message to y'all: buy me whiskey or tacos) As I was still waiting on my compadres to ready themselves, I figured it was time to make myself scarce and explore more of Pittsburgh. Because that's what I like to do.
🥔 By the time had come to excuse myself, my partner in conversation wanted a parting gift to remember me by. I had begun to search my pockets for a small memento. I figured I could part with something. He puts his hand on my rest and leans in and says, "no, no, no. What I mean is your underwear." Now, I always wear nice undies, as exhibited in the art I am depicted in. Yes those are my real underwear I own. ^_^ I didn't wanna part with that. I had to think quickly. I came up with a simple answer and one that gave him a look of excitement to the point he looked like Red Fox from Sanford and Son feigning a heart attack. I told him politely, "I'm not wearing any underwear right now." The look on this guy's face was priceless!
🥔 It was definitely one of the funny things that happened while I was in Pittsburgh for Anthrocon 2016. After that I bid my farewell and since my friends had not been ready yet, I made my short walk to Tonic for another drink.

Posted 9 years agoSo, I stumbled across this while I was curious about some things in the gay community. Namely, the definitions of what categories a person falls under. Some people that follow me on the Twitter thingy know that I posted my results. It takes your measurements and other physical attributes about you that determine what you would be known as in the gay community. It is directed at males. I am pleased to say that I have surpassed the 10,000 page view mark!!!
I should probably have a beer to celebrate. I'm sorry if I have been a little distant on here (I don't think I have been, but there's always that possibility). Work keeps me incredibly busy most of the time. I will soon be posting some art I have personally been working on shortly. As well as some commissions here and there.

There have been a lot of ups and downs in life lately.
• ^ Furry Weekend Atlanta was definitely a helluva lot of fun. I have some commissions that I am looking forward to receiving in the future! :D So that we may all enjoy!
• v Work has gone to hell in hand basket. I am greatly looking forward to re-classing to a new MOS. I will be going to be a 46R, Broadcast Specialist. It promises to be a much more satisfying career prospect than my current MOS. I was switched over to do another building to do my MOS.
• ^ I may not be able to be at the convention the entire time, but I am still trying to make it to Anthrocon 2016. Work has played a hand in interfering with that, of course.
• ^ My laptop was fried, but I just recently got it back and am able to use it again! :D
Unfortunately, I have to learn a new art software. I will be poking around with my fellow artists to get their opinions on an easy to use software. Though I currently have a free trial of Photoshop CC. I'm not sure what to think of it.
• ^ In the absence of my laptop, I have been doing traditional art badges. Some will be posted. They are chibi style badges. I have already decided on prices for them, excluding shipping and handling. I have gotten a lot of positive feedback about them, and I have had quite a few people interested in them.
Seems like there are a lot more good than bad, but work has had me very irritable. It does take a huge toll on me, but hopefully next week, everything will be gooder! I am gonna go back to the gym starting tomorrow.
^-^ Which is something i am in desperate need of doing to make myself a little more emotionally stable than I have been.
On another note, I surpassed 300 Watchers!! Thank you to everyone who has shown any interest in me enough to watch!!! :D Always a pleasure to see that.

Posted 9 years agoFirst off, my anniversary was great! ^u^ Didn't have to do too much. I was just happy for us to be together. ^u^ Second, my husband went and made he's diabolical plan for me known. On the 28th, WE'RE GOING BACK TO GEORGIA!!!!! ^u^ We're gonna stay with our families for a few days and then go to Furry Weekend Atlanta!!!!!! I'm gonna be at my first con at last. In my favorite city in my favorite state! Popping the con cherry! xD That being said. I can finally make one of these memes. After years of waiting.

and I were forcefully purged from Kentucky to move to North Carolina. Damn military. Always making me do things. :PAny hooves. We made it down/up here and we are settling in. Aside from some things getting broken from the moving company along the way. But at least we made it safe and sound. I look forward to meeting some fellow furs in the area along with some family that I have that live here as well. :3
On a side note:
I have some arts that need to be uploaded. I have been INCREDIBLY busy with life in general. Moving in takes a little bit more with military. There is a lot of paper work that has to be done as well. Prepare yourself, if you are in the military. Just to let you know. It's easier if you're a single soldier.
2nd side note:
I actually didn't have a bad time at all in Kentucky. I had friends over there and a friend who became a best friend. And I will miss all of them. But I am in North Carolina now and I don't know how long I will be staying. I am planning on changing my MOS in the near future. I also plan on going to AnthroCon this year. Assuming there will not be yet another deployment in the way of that again. xD We have already began saving money.
I suppose this now makes me a
3rd side note:
I feel like I should post more journals. Especially about stories from things that have happened to me in my life time. Just humorous stuff. I would prefer to keep shit light. We don't need no more fuckin' depressing ass things online. We could all use more positive. Even if it has caused me some physical pain in the past. xD

On Wednesday, I'll be headed out to Nashville, Tennessee for some string of concerts known as te Van's Warped Tour 2015. :3 I have never been to one of these types of things. Some of the bands playing I am aware of and listen to a little of it. Most bands I listen to have been around since the '80s or earlier. xD
