What a day!

I'm sure that just about everyone is aware that the United States has declared the banning of same sex marriage unconstitutional. Meaning that in all 50 states of the United States, same sex couples can go and get married!!! ^u^
This is a historic day and I felt it necessary to make a journal about it because I am very excited. All the couples that have wanted to be married and had been denied this right can now do so. I can go with my husband, after my service with the Army has concluded, and live in my home state of Georgia and be recognized!
Congratulations America! Job well done!

Birthday. Life stuff.
Posted 10 years agoSo there is a lot of things that have happened, are happening, will happen.
Today, April 21, is my 26th birthday. Thanks to everyone who had decided to wish me a happy birthday. On Facebook, on skype, and to my face.
Special thanks to for the wonderful birthday gifts. We'll be going to our first UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA game later this year when they're gonna beat The University of Tennessee. ^u^ It's a big deal for me as a huge UGA fan and football fan. Since I've wanted to go to DAWGS game ever since I was 10 years old.
Bigger news, to me, was's and my anniversary on March 18. I took him to the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta and to the Georgia Aquarium. Where we got to have a penguin interaction. And we got to pet a goddamn penguin. But just before the penguin leaves, my left shoe got caught in the crossfire and as the penguin turned away from me, it went and projectile shit on my left shoe. x.x It was a very successful anniversary, I think.
I should be going to Fort Campbell to go to WLC so that I can be closer to becoming a Sergeant. That's right. Sometime in 2016, I will be Sergeant Kyle. :3
I'm also working on art. Potentially open for commissions at some point. Maybe. I have art by others and myself to post at some time. Who knows when, though.

Posted 10 years agoI'm back home in the United States once again. Came in over the weekend. I am safe and not at all hurt. I'm just feeling blessed to be home for my first Christmas as a married man with my husband,

There were three of us soldiers in my section. Working on getting equipment shipped out. We were a little bored with the tidious work of laying out gas masks for inspection. It happens.
I had a thought and I asked one of the lower enlisted guys from my section. It is the same question that I propose to all of you. I will also say what it was that I had wished for. I had asked him, "if you were sick and the Make A Wish Foundation have you one wish. What would it be?"
His answer: a vacation in Las Vegas to party.
My answer was that I wanted to be the legendary guy to get to kick Chuck Norris in the dick. xD
So, my question to all those who take the time to read this journal, is what would your wish be? Within the realms of reality, please. Something that is entirely possible. Regardless if it were ridiculous.

Posted 11 years ago I have begun to enjoy myself out here a little more. I have been drawing, well sketching but can't put anything up that I have drawn myself. Maybe I'll draw some things and send them to people through e-mail or something if y'all so desire? I would like that. It would also help with my practice some. I have been working out very regularly. Running three miles or so and doing A LOT of weighted work outs. Something that is helping me bulk up even more. :P I don't really use any protein supplements. Those make you more prone to dehydration. Don't want that, do we? Well people who don't like me might. :P I have actually lost a pound since being here. I was a solid 155 and now I am withering to 154. D: HAAAAAAAAAEEEEEEEEEEELLP!!!
I have been commissioning other artist more often now that I am here. Also been making plans. Hoping to make it to a con or three when I get to the states. Most notably AnthroCon. Even though, I wasn't able to do it last year. I am also gonna go with DJ on our anniversary to his hometown of San Antonio, Texas! I spent about five months of my Army career over there. It was nice for what I did get to see. It's gonna be gooder since I will have my husband there with me. :very happy: We also are gonna get some puppies when I get back as well. Posted 11 years agoI had an EXCELLENT idea for art and to perhaps get myself out there a little more. But my laptop decided to kill my version of Paint Tool Sai. Does anyone know anything of getting a full version of Paint Tool Sai on Windows 8. Also, Windows 8 is FUCKING GARBAGE!!! I already miss my MacBook Pro.
Incidentally, a lot of things have been going on. I received an Army Achievement Medal for providing medical support to a fellow soldier while I was still in Garrison. I received that medal the day before I left for my TCS. I have been doin' okay over here. Though I do admit that I have been a little lonely lately. I was also offered to play on a soccer team. Which would be excellent for my morale. I need to be more social. DJ was right. I can't just not be social. I am a social butterfly. Even if I did staple my wings to myself. It hurt. xD

No, I am not depressed. I have been cleared and am ready to go. As some of you know. Anyone who knows about me, I am a soldier in the US Army. And my unit deployed to the Middle East this year. I was left behind for a little while. Not gonna discuss that. But I am now cleared and ready to be shipped out to the Middle East and join my unit. I will be gone until January of 2015. But I could still be active here on FA when I can be. I will be on Skype when I can. There are some that I will be video chatting with only a few. I don't know what this will mean for my art. I'm going to assume that everything will be put on hold. I have one more art piece to complete. Hopefully I can finish before I leave. But I doubt that.

Posted 11 years agoSo I am approaching the magical 5,000 number for my pageviews. I was thinking of doing 5 full color background work. I was thinking of allowing adult art welcome, and up to three characters per piece that I do. No, I won't be charging. I don't do that shit. :P
It's my way of thanking everyone for watching me, faving work, and especially supporting me and giving me feedback and keeping me going even when I am discouraged about my work. I had been considering of getting into adult art for a while now. Depending on the feedback I get here, I will proceed with the stipulations. And especially on the level of interest in participation.
So, thanks for even taking time to read this and if you comment, that's even gooder. I really have been planning this for a little while and would really like to proceed. So, who is interested?!

Posted 11 years agoSo after MUCH moving. I have an Army sanctioned house on base. I have a full basement, upstairs and downstairs, patio, 1 1/2 bathroom, 3 bedrooms, and three or four closets. I am exhausted. So, all the art may be put on hold for a little but whilst I ready my new home.

I'm not getting deployed to Kuwait. I was hoping to go but I was put on the list to be held back. I may not even go as a late deployment. I do really wanna go still though.
Which leads to gooder news:
This may free me up and if I can get leave approved to possibly go to AnthroCon this year. It would be my first con. Which would be awesome, I think.

Been thinking about music lately
Posted 11 years agoI used to play the guitar a lot while I was in the throws of young adulthood. From ages 18-21, I would play the guitar a lot with my little rinky dink First Act Bass guitar amp. I couldn't afford another amp at the time. Or maybe I was so horribly inconsistent with money, I didn't have enough money because the money would be gone too quickly.
There is more evidence of that than the former. Like, when I spent $280 for a ticket to WrestleMania 24 in Orlando. x3 But, I digress. I have made up my mind to get back into guitar when I get back from Kuwait next year. I'm going to get a new guitar, humbuckers, and amp. I've already found the guitar that I want. The humbuckers have to EMG!! :D
I have been kept very busy lately. I've spent the last two weeks at firing ranges. I got to shoot the .50 cal, 249, and 240. I think I found my calling in the .50 cal. :P
Maybe I will share a story in the future before I leave the states. It's been a hot minute since I've done that. I have been working on art a lot more lately. Hope that everyone is being well taken care of.

Posted 11 years agoTuesday, I was told by my section NCO that my section is slated to go to Kuwait in mid to late April. I have finally gotten the ability to work on art again. And will be doin' so very shortly. DJ has been very supportive and nothin' short of amazing. He has taken the news with poise and grace and I count myself very lucky to be his mate. This deployment news with a lot of grace. ^u^ We plan on gettin' married at a courthouse on March 13th!! I just need to put in for the leave. Hope that it gets approved. *crosses fingers* So big props to my mate for bein' so wonderful. I believe that it will be a nine month deployment. So unless they extend it, I should be back by this time in 2015.

I out that off for a few days. I have been a little busy in the last few days and spend a very short amount of time on FA daily. But I should be back to my regularly scheduled furry program after I return from Fort Campbell. (Named after The Lord, Bruce Campbell.) At any rate, DJ made the move. Which I totally wasn't expecting that one. I have been ecstatic and get a huge grin on my face every time that I look at my left hand and see the ring. He liked it, so he put a ring on it. ^u^ <3 <3 <3

My art style has been progressing, as y'all will soon see the evidence. I have a small queue that I have going now.
