A ponderous mental labor of the silly type
Posted 17 years agoIs it just me or does Dick Van Dyke exude this geeky aura of cool.
What that has to do with anything... well why are you reading this journal in the first place?

Posted 17 years agoI got a number of notes from people wanting to know who did the art work I just posted, and one or two accusing me of being an "art thief". No it wasn't me, and if you took the time to read the description you would know who the artist was without having to bother me. But for those who don't take the time to read things (which makes this journal pointless come to think of it...) the amazingly talented artist was Angrboda. So stop, drop, and roll your way on over to her pages.

And for those intrepid fans, or those with a eight grade reading level, SURPRISE! Check out the scraps for a preview of part 2.

I once cut a man stem to stern
Posted 17 years agoIs the pen really mightier then the sword?
It would seem to me, this too often used saying is altruistic nonsense, said by those thinking they can change the world with some well phrased bumper sticker slogan.
In reality, the pen is only mightier then the sword when the sword is the size of a pen, and the pen itself is very sharp. The likelihood of either being the case is slim to none, unless your fighting against a midget, or have a habit of lugging around a giant sword sized pen. In either case, one can only hope you have video evidence you can display in the future to unequivocally back your trite statement "The pen is mightier then the sword."

Apart from sticking to my lungs like a bug against a windshield, I find tobacco unique in its ability to draw out stress with each exhilarating exhale. Of course the fact that my brain is slowly asphyxiating while I smoke might have something to do with that.

Posted 17 years agoRemember kids, penmanship is so important when writing out your Christmas wish list. Last year I was thrown out of Best Buy for having sex with Guitar Hero because I couldn’t read my own handwriting – which meant that my nephew got a 33-year-old nurse’s assistant I met on Facebook for Christmas.

Posted 17 years agoI'm not an angry man by nature, but so help me god, if I see another cow TF with a clever line such as "God milk?" or a horse TF where a saddle and someone wanting a ride is involved, i'll explode.
It wasn't creative or fun the first 100 times its been done, so why would it be any different now? I shouldn't hate, art is art right? Why should I get bent out of shape over something silly?
I'll tell you why, because I can.
:( I'm not a very fun person when I don't get my nap.

You can give cancer a new hat...
Posted 17 years agoI'm not some fetish bigot, or deviant Nazi out to clean up the internet, but this so called "cub porn" is inexcusable. You can dress cancer up with a new hat, but that doesn't change what it is. In fact the relabeling of of child porn as something more innocent and easily excused as "cub porn" is not only intellectually dishonest, it shows how spineless and morally reprehensible this site and those who pedal this schlock are.
Shame on you furaffinity, and to those who post this kind of crap, there is a special place in hell just for you. Try the forums over on NAMBLA instead, and I don't mean the National Association of Marlon Brando lookalikes.

Where does all the money go?
Posted 17 years agoIs it just me, or does going to the grocery store just end up being a futile effort? I mean I'll spend an hour of my day shopping for food, which basically boils down to milk, eggs, yogurt, beer, and cereal, and before I know it i've spent well over 100 bucks.
Yet it never seems like I have anything in my kitchen to eat (the beer never seems to end though...) Where does it all go, and how do I manage to spend the majority of my pay check on food each month!?
:( Maybe thats why i'm chubby... n/m answered my own question.

The Sky is falling
Posted 17 years agoSo a few months ago I bought a brand spanking new oak desk. Sturdy, expensive, nice. Below the desk is a key board tray, that by itself must weigh 30+ pounds.
Well earlier in the week, my new computer arrived. Quad core, lightning fast, top oh the line 9800 series video card... the works. Well i'm playing Warhammer online this afternoon and I hear this craking sound. A few moments later and said key board tray rips from the underside of the desk and smashes right into my brand new CPU. Hard enough where the top of the damn thing is dented, and the side access panel was knocked off.
Now the computer seems to be working fine (thank god) though when I move it I can hear something rattling around inside now. My guess is a screw. So my new computer is dented to hell, my brand new desk is broken, and my foot.. well it got smashed in the process too.
Life has not been pleasant the last few weeks.

Finally a contribution to the community!
Posted 18 years agoI've been a lurker in the tf community for a while now. Over on transfur, doc's lab, the process. Rarely do I share my less then amazing sketches or any of my stories. However, a friend of mine the other night really charged me up about writing something tf oriented, so I thought what the hell.
A question to those who stumble upon my page...
Posted 18 years agoSo I have a question... only recently becoming aware of the tf / furry community, I'm a bit shocked by the overwhelming amount of homosexuals associated with it.
Now i'm not bagging on anyones sexual preferences, but I'm perplexed by what exactly makes the tf / furry community so overwhelmingly homosexual.
Just a question... thoughts ?
