I have a lot of fun take-home commissions too, and I am thankful for the commissioners’ trust in me. I will start on them as soon as possible (taking a week-long break next week for a trip to Paris!!) and I will do my best to make everyone happy with the art they get from me.

I love doing commissions for folk at conventions! I get immediate feedback on finished work, and it makes me proud to see how happy my work makes my clients and friends.
I tend to be very meticulous when doing my art, and I often have to limit the number of commissions I can do at at a con because I need to sleep *sometime*.
I have been taking some of my con commissions home with me since I could not do them in the time I have over the weekend (and I hate to say 'no' to anyone wanting my art!) and have found that I spend a *lot* more time on them than I do at a con. Because of that, they tend to be more detailed than my at-con pieces, for the same price.

I have decided to follow the example of many of my fellow artists and change my commission price for full-color pieces that I do at home.
Any take-home color piece will start at $200.00 (con price is $150.00) and that includes shipping in the US.
That entitles the client to one character, with limited to moderately-detailed background, 9x12" watercolor. More than one character? Ask for a quote!

So, if you want an 'at-con' painting, please ask *early* on Friday so I can put you on my list first thing!

Sign-up for Dealer’s Den Motor City Fur Con 2023 (Novi, Michigan) was last July, and neither I nor Heather Bruton, Diana Stein or Sabrina Stein saw any notice of the applications being open at that time. I don’t know where the notice was posted but we all missed it.
So…none of us will be there.
Crap. Our only local fur con, with the lowest travel costs, and we’re out of luck.
(This is the first one we have missed since it was originally Furry Connection North.)

Yes, I am planning on dealing at AC this year. I’ll be with Diana Stein and Heather Bruton and hopefully the usual pack of Pirates.

Diana’s father passed away over the weekend, and she is dealing with a lot of issues right now.

I just got a note from FA stating that two of my pieces have had their rating changed.
The two pieces (9 and 10 years old) had nude male characters with just the hint of sheath showing. No bulge, knot or tips.
Well, okay, if that is what they have to do, no worries.
But now I guess I have to go thru my whole gallery (at least ten years worth of stuff) to make sure no hints of nipples (female only) or sheaths are shown.
And they mean showing thru clothing too....

Wow, I wonder whose job it is to go thru years worth of art looking for nips and bulges...?

Sadly, I did not get table space for FC this year. So, no commissions for my loyal clients...sorry about that!
Diana Stein and Heather Bruton will be sharing a table in the den tho, so I hope lots of folk go over to their table for sketches and prints!

I will use my time at home to work on commissions from Anthrocon (for David S and Lan) and from MFF (mugs and watercolors) and some pencil pieces from our last Live Stream for Ealadubh.

I have decided that I really need to push myself to do more art, so I am going to offer 10 slots for commissions.
