Hey all!
If i don't get killed by a falling satellite or such, and with my luck of the last couple of years its quite possible, I'll be in hiatus next week. Me and the hub will hit the sea for a couple of days and celebrate our birthdays, that are a few days apart.

I still have some full days before, since I'm managing a few house repairs that were much needed, together with my regular job and commissions, but then I'll probably bury my cell in a vase for a week, i only want to think about fried fish, sand and crosswords.

I still want to finish at least one commission I'm working on before the weekend, and sketc another.

I may be unreachable from may the first (that it's my burday btw) to Saturday 7.

I should be able to reopen some slots at the end of the next week, around 21 or 22 july, if the heat won't be too much for me to stand. I suffer from chronic pain , and things gets difficult when its too hot and damp, even with AC, but i try not to be stopped by it for too much time.

This year has been a good year, art wise, for me. I have learned and re-learned many things. I drew and digitally painted a lot! It's a deep satisfaction, and helped my mood a lot. I look forward to more art in the next years, if it's written in my fate :D

This year I've also started an healing process with a therapist regarding my brain. I was slipping into depression once again, this time without causes, and i must admit, at some point i realized I was losing my ability to feel things, other than a vague sense of anxiety and unease, and i was scared. It was something i knew too well, from my past, and didn't lead to good things. I'm getting better quite fast, and it's been a great choice. 10/10

This year, we have lost an important person in our family. We're still very sad,. We'll also have some challenges to take in the immediate future. But this loss somewhat revealed the strength of some bonds that we thought were lost.

I have no new year wishes or resolutions, other than trying to stay here as long as I can, and keep drawing animal people :)

Lol, joking, 'cause we're not sure Herd immunity will subside so soon, still, if you remember, I had a bad infection in October, and today I got the result of my antibodies test, and it was Covid19.

I'm incredibly lucky, because as an asthmatic, if it would have stroke my lungs, I would have had it way way worse.
But it hit my upper respiratory system, and even if it probably was a light infection, I can tell you it was the worst I felt in my adult life, excluding two tumors surgeries.

I live in a very crowded place, and beside my allergies related ailments I have the immune system of Godzilla. I can't remember being seriously ill after childhood. I got influenza several times, and ok, you get sick, you get feverish, maybe sick in the stomach but this thing is a whole new, special, absolutely not comparable experience. Whoever says it's just a flu must be repeatedly hit in the face with a rolled up paper.

I was in pain for a week, if you've ever been badly sunburned, or you got a tattoo, it's that kind of burning pain in the skin, everywhere. You can't lie down, you can't sleep. I lost my sense of smell for a few days, because I was lucky, but it came back quite... Different.

After 3 months I still can't smell some scents, like most part of meat based foods, while I can smell odors that do not exist. It's mostly a mix of cabbage and sewers, nothing that fancy, though I must say it's sometimes mixed with baby powder. But it doesn't make it *that* better.
Also, my energy level was at a minimum for at least a month. I'm usually a pretty active person, and I couldn't vacuum a room without taking a break. After three months I'm still at an 80% of my previous levels.

So, please, resist, wash your hands, wear that mask and get a vaccine whenever your turn will come, for the love of your own specie. It's no joke.

Hey all!

I won't open commissions until JANUARY 2021, I have almost reached the limit for my yearly plan, and I'm better being careful, I don't want the tax agency to eat my face next year.

Also, I need some rest. I had something that I strongly suspect was covid19 at the end of October. I wasn't able to get a test 'cause the situation here was impossibile to describe, and at some point they just tested people with stronger, life threatening symptoms. We're slowly coming back to normality though, and as soon as I can, I'll probably get an antibodies test, so I'll know if it was IT, and will eventually donate blood for the antibodies based treatments if I'm suitable.

Anyway, I'm almost back in shape but it's taking long. That thing SUCKS. It's like a flu, multiplied for ten. There are still days in which I'm weak as a boiled chicken, and I definitely need some additional rest.
