I feel that after the weekend I had, it was only fair that I did a report.

For starters I got there on Friday with my friends and After playing tetris with my Saturn to fit everything and everyone into my small vehicle we made it in one piece and everything intact.

This weekend was honestly the most fun I have had in a long time. I met a lot of people who I have not seen in a long time

If you had told me, I never would have realized I had as many friends and people that remember me. It is a very warm feeling

The first thing we did at the con was actually watch Uncle Kage's story hour, which was a blast as always,and I think it warmed my friend Megasm up to the furry fandom more, considering her hesitancy.

I did drink a bit, now that I am 21, I decided to go out and buy some cherry vodka and some sprite for a mixer, pretty tasty actually. Bought some furoticon cards, and then watched Xavier, wolftailz, and his mate all play that and magic for almost three hours. Also, may have bought myself a little bit of a naughty toy from Bad Dragon, which we then used the suction cup to hang from our hotel rooms ceiling! XD

I also got my badge from the lovely who's art is super duper awesome, and you should check her out.

The best part of the weekend for me was the fact that for Megasm, it was her first con. I invited her the day before because I had lost my con buddy due to his work being a dick.

Now, Megasm really isn't into the furry fandom, she was furry friendly and thought it was cute,but didn't really understand it. After the weekend was over she kept saying how much she loved the fact that the fandom was a lot warmer, friendlier, and like family. She was eager to start work on a fursuit, and had at least three different fursonas she wanted to start work on when we got back.

This is what I love about the furry fandom, the fact that there was my friend who was not really into it. She went to one con, and was just amazed at how warm and inviting everyone was. By the end of it, she didn't even want to leave. :D

The weekend did leave me extremely tired, and exhausted, but it honestly was some of the best times that I have had in a long time.I have not laughed that hard in a long time. I look forward to seeing many more of you at the next convention!

Well Friday anyways, I have to work a closing shift Thursday night from 4-1am....so it's going to be fun to turn around at 9 am and drive for 2 hours.

the room is going to be so much less crowded, I cannot wait. :D

Cannot wait to see some of my awesome friends, and people that I have been wanting to meet for awhile.
We shall see how this weekend goes, maybe a weekend away is what I need.

Also going to use this as my stress relief for awhile, seeing as how I've been stressed and just in a glum mood lately.

My sister wants me to go to the Dagorhir event in Pennsylvania this year...debating on whether to go or not.

Would give me another great excuse (ahem, reason) for getting some armor made.

Of course it also gives me more reasons to wear all my shiny ren faire garb for a week. :P Just not to sure about entering the battles or any of that fancy stuff.

The lovely Wahaneta is doing a raffle to give away some ears and a tail.

Even if you're not interested in getting a pair of ears or a tail, she has some other ridiculously awesome stuff that she does.

I'm thinking of making one for the renfaires. I have contemplated this in the past, but am actually giving it some serious thought.

I'd like to do a more realistic type of head.

If anybody has some good tutorials that they can point me too, or even some good designs that they have seen, I am all ears. :D

For my friends that I talk with daily they know that I have been suffering with wrist pain and what appeared to be some nerve damage. Basically, I have tendinitis in my right hand and carpel tunnel developing in my left hand.

For the past 3 weeks I have been wearing arm braces and keeping to a anti-inflammatory/ B vitamin regiment to keep the pain away. For the past two weeks I have been wearing braces to bed to help with the pain.

Last night I finally slept without the braces on and woke up this morning with only the sensation that my hands had fallen asleep (which is also another symptom but one I'm willing to live with) and none of the excruciating pain I had been feeling in these past couple of weeks. I'm hoping that it has calmed down and I'll be able to resume sleeping like I normally do.

This also means I'll be able to start up on my artwork again,because with working as much as I am, in the type of work I was doing, by the end of the night I didn't want to put anymore stress on my hands. But, I'm taking slow and getting back to my art. :3

Yesterday at work I have learned that I cannot take caffeine pills. After being super tired and taking one to make it through my shift, I found that it did not increase my energy at all, but just made me super hot and gave me the shakes.
So, much like Monster, or just consuming a whole energy drink by myself; it has been added to things I cannot do.

But, because my body has become used to staying up super late I was able to go through at least 4 sketchbooks and clean out what I wanted to keep, and what I was getting rid of. It felt good to clean out some of my art stuff, and I'm starting to notice that I'm keeping more than I am throwing away, so I guess it means I'm becoming more satisfied with my artwork.

Some of these pieces I am going to be putting on to FA later, and possibly coloring a few, because I was shocked that I hadn't put them up yet.


So I guess, boo for energy pills, hooray for improving art work! :D

Possibly next week I am interested in opening up for some drawing/painting commissions...just trying to see if anyone would be interested, and if so, what would you buy from me?

Things certainly are changing around here. Besides being super crazy with work, and the drama that unfolds with that, I found that I am in a position where I may be going to manager training in the next week or so should I pass the interview process. Money, insurance, guaranteed hours at work, and the ability to have vacation time. Of course that means a lot of extra work on my part studying to get the certification I would need.

On another note I've started working on some more ren garb. I had the fabric laying around and decided to go at it. (one piece is a gift for a certain dragonchin, but that's a secret) Also I don't think I really need more garb, but all the sewing and whatnot will keep me sane through the winter months.

Also, I'm considering opening up commissions for drawings. This would start with $1-5 dollars for a sketch, just to see if I can start drumming up some business,and earn a little extra cash to take a roadtrip to Kentucky soon.

But all that aside I did get a commission from a coworker of mine to make their child a bat costume for a school play that he is in, and I've been asked to help one of their other son's with a costume should he get a part in Grease. So, I am excited at the prospect of getting to work on more sewing projects, i've missed listening to the hum of my sewing machine, and then cursing like a sailor when I have to rip a large seam out and start all over.

You know when your body is screaming at you to slow down and you ignore it...I guess I'm stubborn like that.

Got an odd case of the sniffles and feeling achy all over, I know I need to slow down and take a few days off...but I just can't do it...there is so much I have to get done and completed, especially with the Holiday Season.

However, I am taking rests when I can, and making some lovely egg-drop soup as we speak to help me warm up and feel better. Just trying to take it easy at the moment and see if it helps with a lot of things that seem to be going wrong at the moment.



Also one month!!!! (which is so esoteric only at least 2 people I know of will get the reference, and I am not at leisure to divulge what it means)

MFF come and gone...all went really well. Met some lovely people, and got to reconnect with a lot of people I don't get to see very often.

The only incident that occurred was getting smacked in the ass by a very intoxicated guy at the dance, but the staff did take care of the problem..which is probably better than my fist. At least 5 people that I have talked to about it, have said that the guy would have been flat on his back if they had been there. lol

The best part would probably be the part were  xavier_armstrong and I played Russian Roulette with Fetish Badges..and I ended up with a "I <3 Herm badges"

The corset was a fabulous piece to wear, and I was throughly excited when placed with my tail and some ears. :3

Also got rid of all the ice cream coupons I took with me and could not be happier with that. Randomly throwing them at dealers, artists, and even a few random people I struck up conversation with. :D

Currently watching "Bitter Lake" which I purchased from FurPlanet....kind of mixed feelings, I like it....but some things are just a little off for me...ah well still enjoying it so far.

So not sure what is the problem.
I know usually this time of year I get a few mood swings, but these past couple days have been hell.

Maybe I just bottle too much stuff up and then it overflows. Right now I just think I want to take a screaming hot shower and cry...crying releases endorphins right? Might make me feel better.

Honestly, I know girls have mood swings, but this is horrible right now and I need to get out and just away for awhile. I'm hoping the weekend helps.

My heart, my stomach, my head..all like millions of little knots...maybe vent art with help a little too....*shrugs*

I just realized that...I love fursuiters. But what I really love are the couples that fursuit together, I think it's adorable to watch their interactions while in suit together. <3

Now that that random thought is over with...

I do have a few art pieces with a new coloring style I hope to get submitted in the next week or so, but I also have some rather large projects that I'd like to finish up by MFF...so we'll see how that goes.

The plan for right now is that I'm still attending the con. Just hope work doesn't kill me first. lol

So MFF draws closer and I just got word that I will in fact have my corset in time for the con. Paired with a leather jacket, jeans and stilettos, I hope to pull off the biker chick look. .XD....or not who knows.

Either way, finally getting my corset makes me so incredibly happy...and I'll try and get a pictures with my ears and tails. :D Glad one of my fellow roomies is a girl so she can help lace me up. XD

(And those curious about the title, well the song goes with the mood I am at hearing about my corset,and that I've been dancing lately.)

Maybe it's the music that I've been listening to lately, but I just keep feeling lonely....I mean I talk to people, I work, I do projects to keep my mind occupied and to keep my hands busy...and yet there seems to be this ever nagging sense of loneliness. It could also be a bit of the change of seasons that cause the slight mood swings, but then again Autumn has always been my favorite time of year. It may be because I went getting up around 10ish and staying up until midnight. To waking up around 1 or 2 pm and staying up until 5-6 am because of work....my entire body is messed up.

I honestly hate it. But I just turn and start submerging myself in my art and crafts and it goes away for a time. Hopefully MFF will help change that, there are events on the horizon, just taking too long to get here.

I just need a hug :(
