Spikey Story (Part 2-Saturday) (c)
General | Posted 13 years ago"Hello all, Spikey here, back at MFF to bring you the nightly news. We started off the day with the annual Greymuzzle breakfast. Followed by some great pannels: Bears Strong at Heart, Working in Wildlife Rescue, Rails and Tails, and Furry TV Commercials just to name a few. The second rehersal for the variety show was yesterday morning also. At 1pm, the Fursuit Parade kicked off with our largest number of fursuits yet. The charity auction was from 2-4 and raised a good amount of money for our charity. The ever popular Too Much Light started at 4 and filled up fast. The charity poker tournament held two rounds today, one at 10am and the second at 6pm. The Furry Variety Show started at 7 and all our performers did amazing. Also at 7pm, the art show closed all of it's bidding. Who's Lion ran from 6pm to just after 9pm. Then at 10pm, the ever famous Alkali began his very popular annual Lupus in Tabula game. There were three games running by three different moderators and all three were full. Alkali's first game had 38 people in it and there were more still just sitting around to watch. For the first time in the history of Alkali running the game, it came down to one werewolf, one werehamster, and three villagers, and since the werewolves got two kills a night, the villagers had to decide whether the werewolves or the werehamster won. They chose the werehamster. The second game had 28 people in it. This game was very divided the whole time, and those people play bad guys, were very good at sewing dissention and chaos. The werewolves ended up killing enough villagers that had one of the werehamsters not been in the game, they would have won, but he was. So for the second time, the werehamster won the game. While Lupus was running, 2 the Ranting Gryphon and Uncle Kage got on stage together for their charity show which had the audience rolling. The game broke up around 3am. By now the dance was even over, so furries either went to bed, or more likely scattered to various room parties. Well that's all for now my fellow furries! Until tomorrow, have a furtastic day!"
Spikey was happy with his broadcast. This MFF was turning out to be his favorite one yet. All the great pannels, performances and games. And of course the dances. He decided that he wasn't ready for bed yet. So he bounced out to find a room party.

MFF TV 2012 (Story part 1-Friday) (c)
General | Posted 13 years ago" This is Spikey with MFF TV, here to bring you daily updates on Midwest Furfest 2012! We are back at the wonderful Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont, IL. We started off the weekend Thursday night with early registration and a dance for those furs that just couldn't wait to party. It has been a great opening day here at MFF 2012. The Opening Ceremonies went off mostly without a hitch, officially kicking off this year's con. The early panels today consisted of introductions to different groups as well as some creative ideals. At 11 am, sign ups for the Artist Alley table lottery were opened. Just after noon, they announced who would be getting a table and who would have to wait on standby to see if one opened up. Artist Alley opened up at 1 pm with a bang. The line of furs waiting to get in and see their favorite artists went from the sign in table, all the way over to the gaming room and around the escalator. Once opened, it didn't take long for those favorites to get full up on commissions and still have more people asking. The gaming rooms down the hall opened around the same time and stayed open most of the night, including one room down the hall for Furoticon card tournament, and another for Lupus in Tabula run by Iggy. The first round of the Charity Poker Tournament started tonight as well at 6 pm. Also at 6 pm, Uncle Kage took the stage for his ever popular Science, Pseudoscience, and just plain crap panel, at 7, he switched over to his famous story hour, followed directly by 2 the Ranting Gryphon and his side splitting humor. The consuite opened at 5pm and will be open until Sunday afternoon. Complete with furryfied soda fountain! After 2 was done, they set up for the friday night dance, which was really hopping. All in all a good night! Hope to see you all again tomorrow and have a furtastic day!"
When the camera shut off, Spikey's supposed energy vanished, hunched over, he dragged his feet over to the sofa in the room next to the recording room and watched his editors run the tape and fix little things. He loved his job, but MFF really knew how to take the energy out of him by the end of the day. Despite that, he couldn't wait for the next day. Smiling to himself, he left the room they were recording in and went to find some other furs to romp around with.
.....Stay tuned for part 2-Saturday

dragon feet
General | Posted 14 years agoI am thinking about commissioning a set of digigrade dragon legs from someone, they would need to be made with the same kind of fabric that is on my head (http://d.facdn.net/art/saphiredragon99/1321268229.half.saphiredragon99_saphire_head.jpg). In other words, the person making them would have to be very good with foam and non fur material. Please let me know if you would be interested and we could talk about how much it would cost.
looking for suit artists
General | Posted 15 years agoHey guys, I'm looking to commission a dragon suit from someone in mid february. I will only be able to pay up to 600-800 bucks, possibly only 500. I would prefer this to be a scaley suit. So if anyone has any ideas or any suit makers would be interested, please contact me either here or on my aim which is saphiresilverwolf. You have a better chance at reaching me on aim seeing as i don't check FA every day. Thanks guys!
