For those of you who might not have guessed, I'm a big DC animated fan. I love watching their movies like Crisis on Two earths, Under the Red Hood was amazing, the Batman/Superman movie was awesome, and the DC presents shorts were all excellent. Most of all though, I love Young Justice. It is an amazing show with really interesting takes on classic DC characters, great stories, good character development, the works. I love it. I based the ideas for the superhero RP group I'm involved with off of character designs from Young Justice. That's how awesome I think the show is.

The show is in it's second season now. In May episode 7 aired. Then the show went on a four month hiatus, sadly not a new thing for those who are loyal fans of the show, but it began airing again in late September. (Yay!) Episodes 8 and 9 aired like they were supposed to, (and were awesome!) but yesterday episode 10 didn't air. After being pressed for answers Cartoon Network finally stated that the DC Nation block, which includes Young Justice wouldn't be airing again until January. January! Three more months! And that's all the explanation we have. No other reasoning. All we do know are what aren't the reasons for the hiatus. It's not because they don't have the shows to air, as one was supposed to air today and every day until January, and it's not because of anything involving the producers at DC Nation because they didn't know either! They found out yesterday like everyone else. Frankly this BS and I like many other fans of the show are sick of this.

A fan of the show has started a petition to allow the fans to express their irritation with the CONSTANT multiple month long hiatuses with no warning or explanation and to try and get Cartoon Network to start airing the DC Nation block again now instead of in three months. So fellow lovers of Young Justice, please go to http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/bring-back-dc-nation/ and help reach the goal of 10,000 signatures!

Alright everyone, I'm short a class yet again so I should be able to do some commissions again. I'm about finished with the reference sheets I took last time and will be posting those as soon as they're done.

This time round I'm open for general commissions. (That means all things) My prices can be found at the bottom of this journal if you're interested in a piece. Alright everyone! One of my classes got canceled at the last minute because only three people signed up for it. So I'm only taking two classes over the summer and thus I'm gonna be taking a few more reference sheet commissions. I am taking a grand total of 6 reference sheet commissions! These will be completed over this and the next two months as time allows. As per usual these are $100 normally, an extra $15 for facial expressions to right on the sheet. Hey everyone! I think I'm finally get a handle on my school stuff now. (Networking is a BEAST of a class. I literally spend four times the amount of hours working on stuff for Networking than I do for my other two classes combined.) So I'm going to start taking commissions again, but pretty slowly. Right now I'm going to ONE Reference sheet commission at normal price. That meaning that I do front and back, three outfits and general info for $100. I'll add in three facial expressions for an extra $15 ($115 total) if desired.

Assuming my work load remains constant and I don't get any surprise assignments I'm going to try to have the couch colored and shaded as well as this reference sheet done by the end of the month and take three reference sheet commissions next month.

OK, everyone heads up on recent events. The last quarter ended about a week ago (two A's and a C thank you) and I still hadn't heard back from financial aid on whether my appeal was approved or not. So I've been wrestling with exactly how I was going to continue my education if I wasn't going to be getting financial aide, and if I did get approved but too lat to sign up for the spring quarter would that effect me getting money in the future and fun life issues like that. It's been kind of sucking up a lot of my time.

THEN! On the third of this month, I got the email from financial aid saying I was approved! Yay! Registration ends the 7th for the spring quarter and I found out on the 3rd that I was actually approved. Three days! Register for classes! "Here's your loan money you have to pay back whether you use it this quarter or not. Go! Oh, one of the classes you have to take this quarter because EVERYTHING requires it and is really hard is only available online because the normal class is full because we made you wait until THREE DAYS before registration ended to sign up for classes and you can't chance the weight list because if you don't get in and didn't sign up for a different class then you're not full time and if you did sign up for another class AND get into this one you're stuck in the same boat that made you drop the class last quarter. ¬_¬ Oh, accept now that you're on this "probationary" status because we feel like penalizing people for wanting to get two degrees - not two degrees using financial aid, just two degrees in general - if you drop a class that you registered for it could mean you no longer get financial aid every again!

Man, I love college.

Plus side to all of this is I am continuing with classes but I'm only taking thirteen credit hours instead of 18 this quarter and none of them are at "too fucking early in the morning" o'clock. So, I'm hopeful that I'm going to be able to do art on a more regular basis and get that incredibly over due couch done for all of you.

Ok, As most of you know I'm currently taking classes and they'be been kind of kicking my butt. Well I recently had an epiphany during my class at "whoever makes people get up this early is a sadist" o'clock. I've done a degree where every class you have requires a huge project at the end as a final. I NEVER took more than 13.5 (ya community colleges) credit hours and I was still staying up for 48 hours straight come finals week to get those done. Why the hell did I let my mother talk me into thinking I could handle 18? So, I have dropped one of my classes, which was annoying because I'd put the most work into that class, but it'd also suffered the most from me biting off more than I could chew. So, with one less class absorbing all my time I'm taking the extra time I have to do art! I got four people drawn onto the couch yesterday. I'm aiming to do that today as well! Wish me luck!

Ok, long story short my bank account is overdrawn by like $80 at the moment (Thank you overdraft charges) and if I don't have that cleared up by the 28th I lose my checking account and I'm kind of fond of that. So I'm taking two prepaid commission larger than amount now. (or three smaller ones who's total is more than $80) Doesn't really matter what it is at this point.

Since I'm asking people to bail me out of a jam here I'm going to be fairly generous with pricing so if you have something you want me to draw now's the time to ask for it. As always the only way to be fair first come first serve, but includes the whole process. Until I've given the OK on your idea and we've negotiated a price it's still up for grabs.

Ok! Life seemingly is going to make it impossible for me to keep time sensitive promises so no more of those. Sorry guys, but the couch isn't done yet. I'm gonna touch up what I have so far and get it up later tonight. Classes started up again on Monday so that's been my entire life since. I'm going to do my best to get all my homework done after my last class today and then spend as much time as possible Friday and Saturday working on the couch.

Sorry this is taking so long guys and. Bare with me. I promise it'll be worth it!

Alright everyone, I was holding out hope that I would still be able to manage getting the couch done by Christmas, but my classes are kicking my ass a lot harder than I thought they would and with the vast majority of my extensive family showing up Saturday and my last class being Thursday there's just no way. I've got the basic sketch done at least, I'm gonna do my best to get it all inked by Sunday at least, but with the way life around here tends to go I can't promise anything.

Fortunately I won't have any homework to do over break so I'm gonna work my tail off between Christmas and New Years to get it out by the end of year. Thanks for your patience! Wish me luck!

Hey everyone. Just a quick update. I'd been hoping to be done with this round of the couch right now, but I didn't take into account one thing. MIDTERMS! *dun dun DUN* Yes, I'm taking classes right now and I recently had studying for and taking midterm tests basically eat two weeks of my life. So behind schedule, but on the plus side no homework this week! Better news, I now have everyone sketched out on the couch. I expect inking to take the rest of tonight and tomorrow and Thursday and Friday for coloring. So I'm aiming for a release of the couch on Monday! Woo! Just in time for Halloween! ^_^

Hey, everyone, just wanted to let people that know that my life has become a little... well really unpredictable lately. My sis has moved back in our parents along with her two kids and two dogs while her husband is deployed. For those of those who don't know I also moved back in with my parents awhile back so I'm going to be helping out my sis with my nieces and the four dogs during the day until my parents get home and can take over. Which as one would imagine is really cutting into my art time. So if it seems like my production speed has dropped that's why. I'm doing my best to get done what I can when I can.

That said my sis and the rugrats are actually gone for half the month while my sis is out of state doing her clinicals as part of her graduate's degree so hopefully I should be able to finish off the last of my bag logged commissions and sketches for the insanity beings again.  scdwolfboy is holding auditions for season 2 of Survivor: Furaffinity. It honestly looks like a lot of fun. It's kind of like watching the TV show. The participants will originally be split up into tribes and they will compete against each other to win amnesty. When few enough contestants remain they will compete individually until there is a winner! I have agreed to be one of the prize artists for whoever wins! The winner gets three commissions from three of the four prize artists, their choice. The runner up gets a commission from the artist not chosen. Everyone else receives a sketch from  tabibito!

However I was going through the list again and double checking that everyone is taken care of and discovered I have six spots unfilled. Alrighty everyone. Just letting everyone know who's paying attention I'm still working my tail off, but I tend to get rather distracted reading comments and such when I post stuff so I'm saving it all for Saturday in an attempt to stay focused and productive. So be prepared for quite a bit of art come the weekend.

Well, as it goes with all plans I make involving art I make them and then they fall apart. I did a couple days of sketches and then woke up one morning and had great inspiration to work on the couch. So I finished and uploaded the first part of the couch. I'll get the sketches I have done scanned and uploaded at a latter date. Just wanted to let people know I'm still working my fluffy tail off to get everything done this month.
