Well, this coming Wednesday, the 26th is my BDay. I've recently come to realize that share a BDay not only with  Zaush but  FoxAmoore. Both are artists that I admire very much though for obvious different reasons. So obviously that just makes me that much e-cooler by proxy.

Ok... not exactly traditional commissions this time. I thought I would try something new this time. The Red Couch-O-Love hasn't been getting much attention lately and I was hoping to throw a party. I'm thinking of inviting about 8 people to this party. However there is a cover charge of $35. Ya know. Cover food, booze and of course, clean up after the party. For those of you who don't know the Red Couch-O-Love has special powers that for some reason supercharges the sexy drive any who dare place their cute little tushes upon it. All who would like to join in the fun and can pay the cover charge in a timely manor to my paypal account need only send me a note letting me know they are interested. I'll send you a note back confirming this. Once your paypal payment is confirmed you will be admitted to the party with everyone else. Yours truly will be there, naturally, the sexy green tiger Mal may make an appearance as well if he's up for it. Come one. Come all. For the sexiest party this side of FA!





(For clarification, in case someone is confused as to what this is by this point, I'm looking to do about an 8 person orgy picture that will take place on the big red couch that's appeared in several of the pictures that I've done in the past. Ok... phew! That was ridiculous. For the past couple weeks I've moved to a a new apartment, was a groomsmen in my sis's wedding and been horribly sick. In that order with no overlap thankfully. Course, that means that I haven't gotten much done sadly. And I'm penniless again as well. I've got a few part time jobs I'm applying for that I will hopefully get and thus easy my cash issues a bit.

However, that's no where close to a guarantee. So to that end despite my lack of current progress on my commissions I need to pull in 4 more. Just like last time these will be at $50 each for a regular commission and $70 for yiff. (Prices may vary depending on what I'm asked for, but will not go below the stated prices.) I will be taking them at first come first serve. Just make a comment expressing you'd like a commission in this journal entry for simplicity sake.

In related news I have recently noticed this little button in my inbox marked "save". I have been informed, upon further inquiry, that this would put things into the "saved" folder for easy recall later. I'm kicking myself for not taking advantage of this earlier since my inbox gets several notes a day on average and finding the notes of commissions from a while back is becoming more and more difficult. Thus I have a request of my commissioners who are still awaiting their artwork. Could you please send me a note with the description of your commission and the email address you used to send the paypal payment. Woo! I have to say I like Zazzle a bit better than Cafe press for a number of reason, but the main ones is that it's a lot easier to make shirts look a lot better and the prints can be easily resized to whatever size you would like the poster to be from one place. You can also change the style of T-Shit to any other style of shirt if you want if you don't like what I picked, choose one you like. ^_^

Also Check out the Pencil Fu cute sculptures of Sapph and Phire wielding mechanical pencils. I hope to add more of these because I think their cute and fun. ^_^ These can be made into magents, keychains, pins or just a cute little sculpture with a stand.

Ok everyone, I've been doing commissions full time for about 6 months now and it's been a lot of fun if not a lot of work. However, it's also mean that I get up in the morning and pretty much don't leave my chair safe for restroom breaks and food and then go to sleep. This lifestyle has had negative repercussions on my health sadly which is why you may have noticed a sharp drop in my output lately. That's because I can't stay in front of the computer all day working on commissions no matter how much I might like to.

So naturally, since I'm no where close to half way through the mountain of commissions I have now I didn't hold a $600 commission gain at the end of last month. This, combined with other expenses have put Mal and I in a bind. We each have like $30 in our respective bank accounts.

Ok! And now the good better news! At the end of this month we will be moving out of our current apartment and to a place less expensive which will help out. Also I think I've got the health issues mostly under control now so I should be able to start producing art more regularly again. I am however looking for a part time job to keep a steady cash flow going while I do these.

However, I don't have any nibbles yet on a second job and Mal and I are running out of groceries. So I shall be taking 4 commissions at $50 a piece. This will allow me to buy food for Mal and I for the month. These are on a first come first server basis sadly, though I will be giving preference to people who haven't gotten a commission from me yet to be a little more fair.

Ok. I didn't want to make a fuss about this, but I'm kind of frustrated. I went through the trouble of setting up a cafe press page and getting all of the products put up there, which is very time consuming I might add, because I had a lot of people asking of I sold prints because people wanted to buy them. So I was like, Ok! I'll start selling prints!" So I came up with two original pictures and tried to sell those. Nothin. Others suggested that they wanted some of my other pictures up so I put those up and still nothing has sold.

So I'm here today asking you what am I doing wrong? Are things too expensive? Is there something wrong with the store? Was there a different picture of mine that you wanted to buy that I don't have up there? Is the art crappy? Be brutal, be honest, but just tell me. I need some feed back. I know the economy's bad and everything, but that can't be the only reason that no one has bought anything from the store yet.

Basically, it comes down to this. I have three days left before my cafe press account is going to start costing me money to keep open. I'm not trying to threaten people into buying my stuff, but if I can't see that the shop is at least moving in the direction of turning a profit in the foreseeable future then I'm going to half to close it before it costs me more money than I lost on the thing already. So let me know what you are willing to spend your money on since it's clearly not what I have up there already. PLEASE!

Ok. Mal and I conveniently both had family things in the same city on the same day, so we packed up the car and rolled out on our 3 hour drive there. Went to my Sis's graduation. I had a realization that all graduations look like and basically are the modern day equivalent a wizard's council. Everyone's dressed up in black robe's with medals, tassels, sashes and different funny hats, all of which represent their specific field of study, conferring similar medals, tassel, sashes, and titles upon one another for their achievements. It was amusingly similar to watching a Harry Potter movie. ^_^ Then we went to the Mal's family shin-dig and drove the three hours back home and went straight to bed.

A fun time was had by all. I found a bar I shall have to visit someday when it is open. The name of the bar was "Howl At The Moon" and I definitely need to try the place out. Especially if it's anything like the Fox and Hound as that is also a great bar to go to (when you have money that is). I'll be back on the commission drawing tomorrow. I'm resting for today.

Ok, most of this week is going to be taken up by plans of one kind or another culminating in being out of two for the whole weekend. So I'm going to put in as much work as I can on commissions, but I'm not going to be getting a whole lot done sadly.

Also if you any of you have been wondering why my updates seem to have slowed down (or if any of you even noticed I should say) it's because I've been working on getting some prints going. I'm hoping to sell them through FurPlanet eventually once I hear back from Fuzz about that. Depending on how large FurPlanet is able to make posters I may also be selling prints though Cafe Press as well. These have been eating up a lot of my time as you can imagine, but I think it'll be worth the effort when I'm done. Once everything is squared away with that I'll put of previews of everything.

Naturally this means I haven't been putting in a lot of work on commissions lately. I do apologize for that since I know some of you have been waiting a long time for some of these. I will be getting back to those commissions as soon as this weeks craziness is over so fear not. I'll be having updates again soon. Just giving you all a heads up.

Of the $600 I am trying to raise I'm only about half way there so if any of you haven't sent me a note figuring I'm all filled up, fear not for I still have room for 6 or 7 commissions.

Ok, I'm opening up commission slots! Same deal as last time, I have rent to pay and need to raise $600 before the first of the month. So if you do take a commission slot you are agreeing to send payment via paypal by Thursday next week.

I am changing things up a bit. Believe it or not but after a full month of drawing almost nothing but yiff I have a sudden craving to draw something besides yiff. Shocking I know. This time round I'll be taking commissions of any kind, Yiff and Non-Yiff alike, until I've reached the $600 mark. I'm going to be giving some priority to Non-Yiff over yiff just because I've drawn so much yiff lately. So I'll be more likely to take a yiff request if it sounds interesting and fun, but if I don't take your request it's nothing personal. If you want a commission and can send the money via paypal by April 30th then send me a note with your request and I'll get ya slot.

To those of you who I still owe yiff commissions to I will have them done by the end of the month.

I'm not not normally a huge J-Pop fan, mainly because i like to be able to sing along to songs I like, but I just really love the sound of the opening for the new Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood seires. The song is "Again" by Yui. It's just a fun song. I also recommend that people watch the new FMA series. Only the first episode is available, but I've been impressed by what I've seen.

Ok, I realize I'm a bit late on this. I was hovering the 1400 range for a long time and had planned to do a pic for 1500, but procrastinated and then Bam! So now I'm a hundred watchers late. I WILL do a pic for 2000 assuming I get there, but I just want to do something to let everyone know how much I really appreciate your support, your comments, and your willingness to put up with me.

Alrighty, well now that I'm back on my feet in good health again I'm finally getting my shit back in order and I have most of the commissions I was paid for done. (Thanks to all of you who did. You were so patience I really appreciate it.) However, as I'm sure I've told some of you already, between my hiatus to get us ready to move and my illness it's left me in a bit of desperate situation and I need to raise money to pay rent by the end of the month.

Therefore I'm opening up commissions again but I'm limiting it to 9-10 yiff commissions at $60 a picture.The usual $10 extra per character over 2 and for specific elaborate backgrounds still applies. I do have to insist that these all be prepaid so if I accept your request I'd need your payment by the end of next week.

Well then, with out further ado I official opening up my commissions again!

For all of you who have had any graphic design experience try not to cry too much as you watch the video. There are others who understand your pain. For those of you who aren't designers, watch and remember to avoid these things and you won't make your artist cry.

Ok, well on the plus side I think I've mostly kicked the flu... and moved on to a full blown head cold. I hate life sometimes. Where before I just had no energy and a headache from coughing so much. Now I have more energy, but I have bouts of clarity admits being in a thick fog. It sucks a lot... Commissions are still more or less on hold at the moment. I'm sorry to all of you who have been patiently waiting for one. I'm picking up some more meds today so hopefully they will help.

Stupid flu and it's stupidness. Well a couple of days ago Mal got the flu and has been all but bed ridden. I've been taking care of him, but as I live in the same apartment as him, it was only a matter of time until I also go sick. So far I'm not nearly as bad as he is, just sick enough to be miserable and unproductive, but active enough to want to try and be productive. Which makes being incapable of being productive all the more aggravating. For those of you who I have commissions out on I will be attempting to work on them, but I probably won't have any updates for you for a few days.

Now if you'll excuse me I need to go watch through the entirety of of the first two seasons of B5... again... for the 3rd time... If anyone knows where I can watch the 3rd and 4th seasons I would REALLY appreciate it if they would let me know.

Ok, It's been suggested to me that I should do a series of images (not a comic) to put up for sale as prints on Fur Planet. I've been rolling the idea around in my head for awhile now, but I'm still not sure how exactly to handle things.

Since the locker room sex scene was a big hit making a series of pictures with original characters getting a work out at the gym would seem to be a good idea. I'm not sure how many of these I should do though. Also, if I were to do a series like that would that be something you would buy prints of or would that be better suited for an art CD?

The going rate for prints on Fur Planet seems to be about $5 a print plus shipping so these wouldn't be that expensive. So really, I'm just looking for some ideas or suggestions on what to do.

I have received payments from several people, but I don't have user account names to go with them so I don't know who's paid and who hasn't. IF you have sent me a payment in the past couple weeks would you be so kind as to send me a note giving yourpaypal account email or the name associated with the account if possible, and how much you sent just so I can make sure I know who's paid and who hasn't.

Ok, as some of you may or may not know, I'll have been unemployed for a month as of the 10th of this month. I still have yet to find a "real" job. The commissions you all have requested of me have helped me keep a float have given me something to focus on to avoid stress, which I appreciate greatly and am thankful for.

As such I have an honest question to pose to those of you have commissioned me and those who plan on commissioning me in the future. I have been considering raising my price on full color and yiff commissions to $60 and $80 respectfully. The reason behind this that I was working part time (6 hours/day) for $10 before I lost my job. Since finding a new job has been more difficult than I had hoped it would be, I was thinking I could possibly make this my job for a while until something else presents itself. To do that though I would need to be making something similar to what I was previously. Hence raising my prices. Since an average full color piece takes me about 6 hours to complete, at $10/hour that would be where I was previously and would let me do this full time and not worry so much about getting a new job.

However, I realize that I'm reliant on all of you wonderful people who support me to request art from me to make that dream come true. Obviously, I wouldn't ask this of you without making a few promises of my own. If I were to do this every picture would have a full detail background and I would be making a large effort to put more detail into each piece to make the extra expense more worth it. So I'm asking you is this reasonable or feasible to achieve? If I were to raise my price on full color and yiff pictures would you all still request work from me at the frequency that you still do? Or would you look at me like I asked for your right arm?

I want honest opinions on this. If you think I'm crazy tell me so. If you have commissioned me in the past, would you have done so if my prices had been higher?

If you have any other ideas about how I could try to make up the difference without raising prices let me know that too. I'm open to most options at this point.

The holidays have been keeping me from doing much of anything commission wise. I have a friend from Maryland so I'm trying to get as much face time in with him as possible so I hope to be getting back to doing commissions regularly tomorrow.
