It has been a long while. I owe several people art and have been on an unintended hiatus for way longer than I thought. However, I was recently in a car accident which has prevented me from working the full scope of my full-time job which is honestly really frustrating rn, but it will hopefully allow me the time to give folks the art that is very much owed. I will also be figuring out some form of refund for those who have waited a literal year for their art pieces as I had no intention of doing that to my customers. I do have a queue for those I owe art to, but if you have any questions or would like to negotiate a refund, please feel free to message me. I am still working my full-time job, but am doing so remotely right now as I am limited mobility from the accident I was in, so please be patient as I get in touch with each of you on top of completing my casework.

Hey there!

So, I moved in August and got out of field training just a couple weeks prior and 2 days after I moved school started and work has been NON-STOP since. I am extremely behind on my queue which has meant radio silence on here and my Etsy page in terms of setting up a Halloween sale or subsequent Holiday sale. Unfortunately, because I am so busy with work rn I have to completely overhaul the way I was doing commissions.

I'm slowly working through the remainder of my works that haven't been refunded (somewhere between 20 & 27 pieces left), so it will be awhile before I take commissions again.

Thank you to all of those that have favorites my works in the last few months and welcome new watchers! If I have the ability to if/when it happens, I'll do a freebie raffle/giveaway :3

For those who I owe art who follow me here, I haven't forgotten about you, I just literally have had zero time to do any normal functioning that wasn't work related. I had a whole month where I did not have the ability to even grocery shop, let alone cook food for myself. It's getting better and I'm currently medicated and have just started therapy to help but it's still a work in progress. For those who watch me here who obtained refunds, apologies for not reaching out sooner, and the charge backs while not desired were also expected and those who chose that process won't be prevented from commissioning me again.

I appreciate the patience and understanding of everyone, whether they commission me or just enjoy seeing all the works and I hope to continue to create lovely items for you all for a longer time to come ^-^

I'M MOVING!!!!! ASDFGHJKL!!!!!

I finally found a place to move and will be moving August 7th to my new apartment! ^-^ I'm very excited!! Thankfully, I'm moving on a Saturday so I don't have to ask off from work which is a plus, and the move happens after my Summer Sale has already concluded, so it's doubly good! ♥♥♥♥

I won't be doing art the weekend I move-in, and will probably take a short hiatus from art until I'm more settled into my new place. I will be raising my commission prices ever so slightly just to help support my savings and work income following the move. The price raise WILL NOT be huge, as I do still do this as a hobby, and enjoy giving people affordable, high quality art. ♥♥♥♥

Once my Summer Sale ends August 1st, I will not be starting another sale until September for the Spooky Season. Additionally, I have an anniversary trip planned with my SO for the end of October, so my next sale will end prior to my trip to allow me to finish all art before I leave so I can enjoy my time with my SO. ♥♥♥♥

Couple quick things for y'all!

First, thank you all SO MUCH for your support these first few months this year ^-^ My Spring Sale went extremely well and I have y'all to thank for that.

Once this current sale is over, on April 4th, I won't have another sale up until some time in May (still working the exact dates out) but my next sale will be Pride themed and will run from May until some time in August. So, I got word last Friday that a job I was waiting on results for a background investigation for was complete, and I was officially offered the job! I start at the end of this month and I'm very excited to be working in my field ^-^

That being said, my work schedule is going to change in a couple of weeks, which means that my artwork schedule will also be changing. Those that are currently on my queue will be finished this week, and any additional commissions I take on will be completed before I start my new job on the 23rd. Beyond the 23rd will be dependent upon whatever my work schedule is, and however rigorous and/or tiring training is.

I will update you as I can after the 23rd, but I am tentatively putting in place the following:
- I will not exceed 2 commissions per week in my Regular or Sale queues. My Etsy queue cannot be controlled, therefore I cannot place a rule on it.
- I will be adding a Waitlist queue to my main page. Waitlisted commissions are any orders placed in a week where my 2 order max has already been met. Commissions on this queue will be put on the Regular or Sale queue once a space opens up.In order for a Waitlisted commission to be moved, the invoice MUST be paid off, or they forfeit their "next in line" spot to the waitlister immediately after them.
- Turnaround times will vary more significantly, and based on the nature of this job, I may be on-call on my days off and called away from whatever I am doing. I will be as honest and transparent as possible about the length of time needed to complete a commission, and I appreciate your patience and understanding always.

Once I've gotten more comfortable with the work schedule, or have figured out best days to complete artwork, this may change. I will also be moving out some time in the next 6 months (this job is providing me double the salary I currently make) and will announce when that will be taking place as it will mean I won't be completing or taking commissions for a short length of time until I am moved and unpacked enough to be functional.

Hey everyone! I have a Discord server now for me to better be able to talk with you, share other artists, and engage in all kinds of fun ^-^ It's not exclusive to one location or just to furries, although it makes sense for you to join if you enjoy/know what I do. So idk if you all know, but I have somewhat of an obsession with Pokemon. I've played the games since I was about 8 (I'm 24 now) and have loved every single one I've played from the traditional Pokemon games, to the mystery dungeon games, to the Pikachu Pals one (I can't remember the name, but it was the one where you played as Pikachu on the Wii).

Since I want to work on my freehand art, and I really like Pokemon, I wanted to get y'all's input on the kinds of Pokemon I should practice on. This is kind of free art, but I won't be taking refs, so, whatever you comment with is what you're gonna get, essentially.

Here's what I want from you all:
1) Must be a watcher! New watchers ALWAYS welcome!

3) Pick 1 Pokemon (can be from any generation up to Sword and Shield, but no legendary Pokemon and no Mega Evolution Pokemon)
4) Choose either Traditional or Digital

These pieces will not be done on any set time frame, but will be completed throughout the year. I want to practice my freehand drawing more and use some new techniques with both my traditional and digital styles, and I love Pokemon so it'll be an enjoyable challenge.

So, this is stupid that I even have to make this, but it's finally happened. After 2.5 years of not having a single problem with my commissioners, I got the Asshat™.

I won't put their name in this, if you want it, please DM me. They aren't active on FA, but they have a Telegram, and are fairly involved in several of the Central Florida chats (both SFW and NSFW). They commission their work through Telegram only, it seems, and don't even have an FA, either that or their FA account name is so different from their Telegram username that without them telling you, it's impossible to find.

Regardless, here's the story:

Asshat™ commissioned me at the end of September for a Halloween themed, SFW piece. Super fast turnaround time (I literally had no one in my queue, and the thing uses a base, so it only took about 5 minutes of line edits, and then coloring to match the ref I was given). They were ecstatic, they loved it, they were impressed with how fast I finished it, blah blah blah.

Now, during the time that I was completing their piece, I received payment for a commission for Stickers™. Part of my TOS states that I complete pieces in the order in which payment was received. The only exception I have is for ref sheets, because those can take a crapton of time because it's dependent on the level of urgency from the other person. Asshat™ asked me about getting a NSFW piece done, after I finished the Halloween piece, but they hadn't decided on, nor paid for, the piece before I got the payment from Stickers™.

Stickers™ as can probably already be guessed, commissioned a pack of 5 original art stickers from me. I knew these would take longer than making stickers with bases I have, but wouldn't take longer than about 2 weeks (which is about my normal amount of time for commissions).

That's the backstory, now for the fun part:

Asshat™ finally settles on a base. I tell them, BEFORE they make a payment, that I work with bases, and that the base that they chose had RESTRICTIONS on it that prevented me from making species changes, but did allow me to make smaller, more "cosmetic" type changes. They stated they understood. I also told them BEFORE they paid, that there was someone in the queue in front of them, and I wouldn't be starting on their piece until I finished Stickers™ first. They understood. Payment was then discussed, agreed to, and paid. I let Asshat™ know that I would be in touch when it was his turn.

2 days later, I get a message from Asshat™ asking what the status was on their piece. Anyone who commissions me knows 2 things: 1, I don't work on more than 1 commission at a time (except for ref sheets) and 2, Art is NOT my livelihood and is NOT my top priority. I tell everyone this when they commission me, and it's understood that I usually complete art late in the evening or at night, and sometimes I can't do work for a couple of days in a row, due to my busy schedule. I update my queue as needed, but a 2 day delay, when there is someone in front of you in a queue, is nowhere near enough time to start asking for updates.

I let them know that I was still working through line art approvals for Stickers™ and that it was going to be a bit before I started work on their piece. They said were upset, but understood, and asked me to keep them updated, to which I informed them I would do my best.

Another 2 days pass, and Asshat™ messages me again, saying that they thought I would've been done with their piece by the end of the week, and that hasn't happened, and they aren't getting regular updates from me. Honestly, should've seen the red flag right there. I informed them that updates come down the queue as necessary, and talking with my whole queue every day takes what little time I have to work on my queue away from me. I tell them I would update them as soon as I start, and that I would be going on vacation the following weekend and wouldn't be taking my art supplies with me, and was going to try to complete Stickers™ art before leaving so I could devote my time afterwards to finishing their piece. Asshat™ seemed appeased with this.

To further appease Asshat™, I took time away from finishing Stickers™ commission to give a first WIP piece of ACCEPTABLE line art edits to Asshat™ so they would have something to look over while I finished Stickers™. I let them know that I could not further alter the body proportions beyond what I had altered them to, and any further additions would need to be minimal. Asshat™ sketched what they wanted over the lines of the first WIP and asked me to make the adjustments, completely ignoring my statements about the body proportions and other restrictions. I told them I would see what I could do.

After finishing Stickers™ piece, I took my vacation (and put an away message on my Telegram, asking nicely not to be disturbed). I started work on Asshat™'s requested changes the day after I returned from my vacation. When I finished making the edits (which, to be frank, I shouldn't have allowed in the first place), the line art still was not fit for approval, and more edits further altering the base were requested. I told them that I could not make any more edits to the base, and was not even comfortable with the edits already made, and they only continued to push for further alterations of the base artist's work.

At this point I told them because of the drastic alterations and the restrictions on the base, I could not continue on the piece in the direction we were going. I let them know they could choose to revert back to the first WIP with only minimal edits, or they could cancel the commission and I would provide them a partial refund. They wanted to continue with the second round of edits, so I told them I declined to continue working with them, and all hell broke loose.

Asshat™ let me know they would be opening a dispute with PayPal (they opened an "unauthorized transaction" dispute, which has since been dropped, more than likely due to the fact it was a false claim; I have no negative balance on my PayPal anymore, which is such a relief), and they would be "contacting FurAffinity" (they don't even know my FA account, nor would FA really care since the transaction didn't occur through them) if I didn't provide them the full $60 refund immediately. I didn't provide any refund, because they opened a dispute before I could, and once they did, I didn't have that option, and I was not about to double pay Asshat™ and lose $120.

Asshat™ over the course of the last 2 days, has told me they escalated the dispute with their credit card company, their company's attorneys were involved (a blatant lie and obvious scare tactic), and if I still didn't provide the full refund on their timeline, I would be [slandered] against "in excess". I told them that I couldn't process the refund unless they dropped the dispute as I literally had no button that would allow me to do so. Their response? "I will be advising my bank." Bank's response? PayPal dispute is dropped, and I got my money back because I'm not liar, or a cheat, and I don't steal other people's line work. I literally just work exclusively with bases (which I either pay the base artist for or find free, and I always follow all rules each line art gives, including GIVING CREDIT TO THEM WHEN I FINISH THE PIECE).

So, anyway, TLDR asshole commissioner doesn't understand how bases work and doesn't know how to read, fucks themselves over, tries to blame it on me and revert the charge, their bank takes my side because the "evidence" rules in my favor.

So yeah, if you want their name, comment on this journal and I'll note it to you, I don't want anyone being screwed out of their hard-earned money by this douche-bag.
