New doggo friend in my life!

I've been really busy with life but I'll try to update my news a little bit here.
There are no sales events for me this year, I only got a table seat at one event for the summer con. And I "had to" cancel that only table seat, of course there was a pretty big reason for that:
I now have a 15-week-old rough collie puppy filling my everyday life! I got the green light from a breeder a little unexpectedly that I could come and meet the puppies. I went to see the cute puppies and we made the decision with a close relative that we would adopt a puppy. We are now co-owners of a puppy named Cosmos Choca Mocha, more familiarly we call the girl by name Mokka.

The event in question would have been this weekend and it was a good decision to cancel the table spot since Finland has been experiencing more than two weeks of heat and there is no end in sight. Mokka is still too small to be left in care for a long time, we are just learning to get to know the future care places at my friends'.
I have also not been able to prepare products so that I would have been able to sell at such a big event as Ropecon. Maybe next year I will be lucky enough to get a table spot!
Little by little we are learning everyday life with the puppy and I am trying to find a rhythm for art and products little by little. The puppy life is very full with learning potty training at the moment.

The past year has been pretty tough, just like the previous year. Here's a quick summary of what the year has been about.
Health:
I've been really tired all year and the last few weeks have been really hard for me for many different reasons.
I was diagnosed with ADHD, which has been a relief in its own way to get clarity on things that have been bothering me for a long time. The symptoms haven't eased and I'm still looking for the right medication that would suit me. The road to balance with ADHD is long and it doesn't happen overnight. It requires balance in so many areas.
Another diagnosis I recently received is IBS. I've been slowly learning and navigating a new diet, even though I've been cutting out certain foods in my diet for years because they no longer suited my body.
Art and events:
The past year included a break in new art. I still can't really create anything new and I've been focusing on product work. These have included fursuit products and tote bag illustrations.
The year included five different events where I was selling from my own table. Mostly small events that haven't been very successful in terms of sales. The past few years have been difficult as there are a lot of applications for art alley spots and the fact that I've been involved in the hobby for over a decade makes it difficult to stand out. It's not a given that you'll always get a table spot at the event you want.
The first event of the year is in a few weeks! I'm participating in Desuco's Frostbite event for the first time at the Artist Alley! I have a sales table at the event on Saturday. Let's see if I have enough energy to participate in the event as a visitor on the other days.
Commissioned works:
Since I haven't been able to create anything new, that's why I haven't been able to accept new commissioned works. Of course, my ADHD symptoms have also made it difficult to communicate with potential clients who have been waiting for my commissions to open. My apologies for the silence, I am currently unable to respond to inquiries regarding commissions. I feel guilty that I cannot be more active in communication due to my energy levels. I am trying to improve this little by little!
I am trying to develop some YCH-based commission opportunities for HTV works, but we will see how it goes. The idea would be to offer customized illustrations for fabric products such as fabric bags and shirts. I received a small heat press from my friends as a Christmas present, so I believe it will help with the matter as it no longer takes so much time to attach the vinyl compared to a regular iron.
Looking for a new friend:
With health challenges and ADHD, other aspects of life have also been difficult. It has become quite clear that I need the regularity in my life that dog has brought to me for years. The difficult financial situation has delayed the adopt of a new dog, but a few months ago I received support from my close relative to promote the matter and I have now gradually planned to adopt a new dog.
I have been looking for adult dogs who search new homes, but I have not been able to find a suitable dog for myself. For this reason, I am slowly leaning towards getting a puppy. But I am not rushing to get a new animal, it is always a responsible and multi-year commitment that must always be taken into account, especially with a pet like a dog. I, close people in my life and even my doctor have stated that my life would be easier if I had a dog again, and I cannot deny that. The past two years have proven that in order to live a full life, I need to have a dog by my side.
A year ago I got a new aquarium at least! At the moment, I have a small group of sapphire rasboras and Caridina multidentata aka algae shrimps and one betta fish in my tank!
It has fortunately brought some regularity to my life, but it certainly doesn't replace a dog. Hanging out with a dog has been a big part of my identity for a long time and I'll see if I can get a new friend to take care of this year.
Until then, I have to enjoy with my friends' dogs, which are already few, since many of my dog friends are older and many of them have moved to the rainbow bridge in the past two years.

Sad times:
Past year has been rough, I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog Nelli last October. My family got sad news September,one of my youngest cousin past away suddenly because of act of brutal violence. I have been dealing lot of heavy feelings these months. Life go on for sure, but it is not easy.
Health:
Spring time is hard for me every year, allergy symptoms hit very strong every time. This year is no exception at that area. I have some issues with my heart too, waiting for doctor appointment for that and hope to get some news - bad or good. But I know my family have heart problems like bradycardia so my hopes won't be so high atm. If I have that, no wonder if I'm tired and exhausted all the time.
Art and conventions:
I have been two conventions this year, January at small furry con and last weekend local two day event. I had blast time in both of them! Thank you for all who stopped by or even bought something.
I will be free from conventions whole upcoming summer, but I got Artisan Table from Tracon, Tampere at September! I will be making products whole summer and hoping to get some commissions too!

Life update

I have been on very long hiatus since April. I got new trainee position middle of the April and was so excited about it. Work place seemed very nice place overall! I thought my luck with work etc has been turned to positive mode at last!
I had shoulder pain on my right side early April and went to the masseuse and the pains remained on the masseuse's table.
Two days before my trainee started pain in my shoulder came back even worse. I had to go to see doctor since any pain killers didn't help at all. Got one week sick leave and more meds. Well pain stayed and next week I had to get more sick leave days and got some pain shots since pains had gone even worse from earlier week. Then came third sick leave week... and I lost my trainee position. Work place needed a worker of course. I get that totally!
I have seen doctors and physiotherapist and still try to figure out how get my right hand back.
There has been now three months not able to do anything creative or even household chores without pain or numbness in right hand.
I have been slowly taking my time with drawing again but I really can't do much. I cannot sit font of my computer and continue my webpage project either. I have been really unmotivated and annoyed because I haven't been able to do anything meaningful for months. Sitting still triggers pain states and numbness the most.
I had to cancel my summer cons too, since those sick leaves caused some financial difficulties and hoping to got things sorted soon and running normally.
But yeah.. sorry not be any active here or other platforms. Those who follow my Twitter have been able to see my posts about my situation during this time. I just hope at some point my life would be better shape without anything massive setbacks.

I do not remember that in my life I would have asked for help at this level for tight financial situations in public and that is why the emergency is not giving me any other option!

I had been on very long hiatus atm since just moved to new apartment around two weeks ago. Me and my partner decided to break up after 6 years of being together. Moving went just fine but my granny dog Nelli have some issues not to settle in new place so well. Doggo cannot handle that their small pack is shattered and have lost their appetite at new place. We were at old house last weekend where Nelli eated again so me and my ex-partner are trying to come up with some plan how to get granny eating at my place.
I have been off art so long that it's hard again start any new work or continue with old ones. I try to get art mood back again. I also have been wondering to raise my papercraft product prices a little bit at my storefronts some time now. I got the courage to implement the price increase at last from artist alley group I'm in. I have been making these products now so many years that other artists and vendors where at same page with me about price increase. I will update new prices to my storefronts in two weeks!
This is all at this point, I'm so happy that tomorrow is going to be snow! Some light to this rainy darkness at last!

I'm so happy that I reached my goal with your donations and shop sales! Thank you all who helped! Got some IRL donations too and those helped a lot!
I having my last day of six month education and able to return more art making after tomorrow. I'm try keep things simple and take more time for myself. I will be opening my commissions at some point of summer, don't want to set any date since I easily get stressed such a things. but if I get my drawing mood back I will announce some YCH stuff next with commissions.

My drawing tablet died

I have been quite inactive some time now. I have been busy with studying and I have been fighting with my energy levels. I had difficult times since my dog where sick around 5 months (liver problems) but now doggo is feeling much better and her liver values are now normal. I'm hoping to get more energy to do owed freebies and some point take new commissions.
Art related stuff:
So, my oldie (around 14 years old) Wacom tablet (Intuois 3) is officially dead, my operation system isn't supporting it anymore and I'm having problem not to have funds for replacement atm. I tried my friends smaller drawing tablet but since I have been used to Medium size during all these years - my hand do not cope with smaller one so well. I get lot of pains with it and can draw like max 15 minutes. Luckily I have small iPad what to use but in my work flow I use PC + regular drawing tablet. And my iPad cannot handle large file sizes - what is problem atm too.

I have 25% from the needed goal since got some bday money from my mother last week. It was huge start but still lot of money to save. I had difficult times since my dog where sick around 5 months (liver problems) but now doggo is feeling much better and her liver values are now normal. I'm hoping to get more energy to do owed freebies and some point take new commissions.
Art related stuff:
So, my oldie (around 14 years old) Wacom tablet (Intuois 3) is officially dead, my operation system isn't supporting it anymore and I'm having problem not to have funds for replacement atm. I tried my friends smaller drawing tablet but since I have been used to Medium size during all these years - my hand do not cope with smaller one so well. I get lot of pains with it and can draw like max 15 minutes. Luckily I have small iPad what to use but in my work flow I use PC + regular drawing tablet. And my iPad cannot handle large file sizes - what is problem atm too.

I have 25% from the needed goal since got some bday money from my mother last week. It was huge start but still lot of money to save. I might close my commissions this week. I have so much going on IRL life that it affects on everything I try to do. I have some thoughts drop some conventions too but not sure what to do with them at the moment. But if you have thought order commission from me near future, please fill out the commission form since not sure when will be open again.

It seems that I have not post anything about my Fursuit related stuff here. Nothing much to see since I mainly do tails as premade sale purposes at the moment.
Should I post them here as own folder?
