Holy fuck, I've been on a manic streak of arting, and it's GREAT. I haven't been this artistically warmed up since that week-long art jam with Gideon and crew... I'm getting a LOT done. Yay!
It's kind of like I was artistically constipated... and now, relief! Horrible, violent relief! :D
Too gross? I'm so couth.
Sorry for the flood of badges- I realize that most people probably don't care about them, but I can't help post 'em singly when they're done! They're each so fun and time consuming... I consider them all mini pieces, art in their own right. :3 Apologies, though, if anyone went D: at all of them in your inbox!
I also coloured Twist of the Tongue as a break from doing badges... it's great to finish it, though I was never actually planning on bringing it further than inks. It's a fun picture, and I like it a lot. :3

Yes, I realize the breakup was two months ago... but things are still rough. I'm still trying to prod myself back into drawing, but it really comes and goes and I don't want to force myself. That's just going to result in poor product, and that isn't fair to anyone.

Breakup - Why I haven't posted anything

tracer and I broke up a week and a bit ago- it was a mutual and amicable decision, no one got dumped- but since then, we're both in rough shape. We're still talking and we definitely want to stay friends. We were together for four years and three (?) months.
Even just convincing myself to go to work has been a chore, and picking up my sketchbook has been completely unappealing. I'm just not up for it right now.
If you're waiting for a commission or a trade from me, rest assured that you WILL get it... I just need some time to get my head together and to get off this emotional rollercoaster.

It really kinda sucked that FA went down when it did- got some missed connections from AC now, alas.
Speaking of AC, it was pretty fun! The definite highlight of my con was meeting
ultraviolet in person and seeing 
vlen again. I also got to meet and chat with a bunch of other nifty people- you know who you are! <3
So right now is crunch time preparations for Camp Feral! and Im going a bit crazy. (http://www.campferal.org) Theres so much to do! Ive already finished the logo for the hoodies and the image for the t-shirts (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1461464/), but Ive still got conbook art to do, my own ad for the conbook, and aside from a bunch of miscellaneous staff things to do, I also have to try to track down people to do conbook art for us.
So- if you want free ad space in our conbook, doodle up something camp-related for us! It can feature anyone, really, but wed especially like it if it featured one of our mascots! Posted 17 years agoI'll have stuff in the AC art show for the first time this year. Problem is, I'm totally fucking lost. I don't know what I'm doing. I know I need to mat/frame everything, no glass, but as far as specifics....
I suppose what I really need to know is how to do this so that it looks nice, but AS CHEAPLY AS POSSIBLE. I'm really short on funds and I can't afford to have fancy mats pro cut, or buy nice frames for everything (especially since one piece is 11" x 14").
Any advice/ideas? <:|

Also yesterday, I got my septum pierced! As expected, my nose hurts today! It's not burning-horrible-wow-that's-infected sort of pain, just my body going WTF at the piece of titanium lodged in my nasal cartilage. I'M PRETTY.
I uploaded a bunch of art because I HAVE A SCANNER NOW!!!!11 This is so, so awesome, guys. I've been without a scanner for almost two years now, and I'd forgotten how convenient it is to be able to just pop something into the bed and upload it. Ahhh.
More art in scraps! I am a comment whore! D:
I am really, seriously working on getting my mail backlog cleared out. I have the money to do it now (finally), so if you know you have art from me, watch the mailbox!
