When exactly did you two first meet?
Late September 2009. Though we'd been talking online for a couple years prior having met on...lawdy...pounced.
Where did you two first meet?
The Ohio Renaissance Festival.
What was your first impression of him?
"Oh lord you wore a shirt with 'Because' across the front of it, you'll be pestered to death you dolt." "Eep he's weird." "Where's the pointy things incase he attacks." And our personal joke about it: "You, Good Sir. Stand at arm's length, take another step back, put your hands in your pockets and think clean thoughts."
When did you start liking him?
After another trip to the renfaire and then I went down to visit him where he lived and he fixed my rear brakes where I started unbeknowingly flirting a little. We both let that gestate for a couple weeks and got back together with the whole "We're Fucked 'cause I think I like you" thing.
When did you two start going out?
The first sort of romantic get together was for the Fall Festival of Leaves around mid October that year. He nutted himself on a parking pole and face planted, sprayed me with gasoline, and I cried on him.
What was your first kiss with him like?
Soggy. I had a psycho chick break down and ended up crying on him for a bit, I think the gasoline fumes had gone to my head and I snuck a kiss in on him. I felt triumphant that he stole my first kiss, I was compelled, what can I say.
Are you his first girlfriend?
No.

How much older/younger is he compared to you?
A year and a month, or somethin' like that. I'm the elder.
Hair colour?
Dirty blonde, kinda reddish, curly awesome white kid fro. I plays in it every chance I get.
Eye colour?
Guess simply one could call it hazel, but they're blue green on the inside by the pupil and fade to a yellow on the outside. They're breathtaking and I can be fascinated with them for hours, like glitter.
Skin tone?
Paleish I guess, but he's a little darker than me and I likes the contrast between our skin in soft lighting, gives me chills.

And has been my forced duty to wash them.

Oh god I've lost count on them. He tells me sweet things all the time. One of the most recent was telling me I could cry, that he wanted me to so I'd feel better. (Donk is bad for bottling emotions, has to be coaxed and bribed into venting)
When was the latest you stayed up with him?
All night, but some of the latest always seemed when we were going our seperate ways, talking on the phone till the other got home safe and fell asleep.

Everything from the bad stuff to happy things. Once he saved me from the Jeopardy question board and told me I was goofy. I don't remember what I was doing on top of it though and maybe it wasn't the Jeopardy score board but it looked like it.

Lays on me, pets me, waits for me to break down and cry and tell him what's wrong. Sometime's takes hours 'cause I'm stubborn.

What's in a fan base...well not really, some thoughts.
General | Posted 15 years agoSomething I got to pondering the last couple days to do with the fandom, or rather just something based on well I'm not sure.
For example, within the fandom we have certain people's who's name we immediately associate with a fetish, style, or character. Now I don't mean necessarily in a degrading way that we make these associations. But I'm sure if some one mentions inflation art you all have an artist your mind flickers to. The same with vore, hyper, curvy girls, musclarity, etc.....
An example might be, say,..... .... well actually I'm having a hard time coming up with an example that doesn't make me seem like I'm picking on some one but you folks get the idea. But more or less the majority of a said artist that's highlighted a certain fetish or style has a fan base that is more or less to that.
But looking through my own fan base I have alot of different flavors that watch me and this makes me happy but I don't know exactly what some of you guys have come out of the wood work to watch. Not complaining, just curious.

Excuses, reasons, and why the Donk is in non-active mode.
General | Posted 15 years agoHeya everyone. I feel like I haven't really gotten in touch with you guys in a while and, it needs done, kinda sorta, maybe, I donno. You deserve to hear from me any way.
My current stress levels in "the REAL WORLD" are high enough at this point they're causing me health problems probably and a decent amount of mental anguish. Normally I don't think a person should be spread this thin, but I just feel stretched, wore out, hurt, mangled, and barely human any more (not the furry sense, just a living being really).
For example here's a daily slice of the life of the Sarcadonk:
Wake up at 3 AM. If working an early shift, pack lunches, get ready for work, set everything right in the house, and go to work. If I work late hours, sit around for 9-10 hours before my shift starts. Why not sleep in you ask? I've spent the last 2 years getting up at 2 or 3 AM. I'm really used to it and can't sleep after that.
So lets say I work an early shift, which I like. I get to work, find I'm the only person scheduled for the first three or four hours. That's fine, no biggy. But I'm also expected to do the job of the person who was also supposed to come in at that time, plus my job and get it done in record time. If I don't I get my ass ripped when my department lead comes in at 7. Okay fine. So that happens, nearly every day. I can't do two jobs in less than four hours when it takes me at minimum, working breakneck speed to get one done in 6 when I'm scheduled for an 8 hour shift. Like today, I go in. We're three people short, I get no help, So far today I've done donuts, baked bread, and am going back to decorate cakes which mind you they took $.20 of my pay off because I no longer wanted to be a cake decorator buuuut, nope still gotta do them, and not get paid for it to boot.
My work area is kept a mess from other associates who have to finish my half jobs as I'm shuffled around. My manager doesn't care for health code and stacks boxes of food on the floors in the freezers. Other departments get pissy with me because I can't fit any more of my own freight in our freezers. Pumpkin pies are the bane of my existance. Most of this usually results in a break down, panic attack, or something like that that leaves me shaking in anger and crying in frustration and ready to blow my top. Luckily I can calm myself down before I walk out on my job, but I'm nearly at the end of my rope.
If I work a late shift, not only am I more or less going in when I'd normally be off work. I've already been up for 9 hours, I'm tired as hell. Cranky. And I go in to the store being full of associates and customers and my whole day is fucked because I have one of my weird social anxiety attacks/break downs and go into numb robot mode. I don't get home till two or three hours after when I'm normally in bed I don't get to see anyone I live with/befriended to or anything. I go straight to bed and get up at 3 AM the next day just to do it all over again.
Which is fine, I only work 5 days a week right? I get two off to recoup right? Yeah but they're split up, not together so all I get done on my days off is either chores or pushing them aside to just reboot/relax. I know being out on my own and being a grown up is and will be hard, but cooperate bullshit makes it worse.
I have no set schedule, I work 40 hours a week, doing a job that I once really enjoyed but can't take any more. I feel the need and want to draw when I'm off but I'm so tired and burnt out it doesn't work and I feel horrible and pressured because I can't get done what I want and need to for my personal art, let alone commissioners. So I go into hiding and sort of slink away from my art and what makes me happy and enjoying the community.
So in short life needs to be fun again. I need to draw more when I get up the gumption to do it and I think right now I need to do a few things for myself to get all of this frustration out before I go on to working for others. I'm sorry for the delay folks and the ranting but, I'm at my wits end and need to find something new.
My current stress levels in "the REAL WORLD" are high enough at this point they're causing me health problems probably and a decent amount of mental anguish. Normally I don't think a person should be spread this thin, but I just feel stretched, wore out, hurt, mangled, and barely human any more (not the furry sense, just a living being really).
For example here's a daily slice of the life of the Sarcadonk:
Wake up at 3 AM. If working an early shift, pack lunches, get ready for work, set everything right in the house, and go to work. If I work late hours, sit around for 9-10 hours before my shift starts. Why not sleep in you ask? I've spent the last 2 years getting up at 2 or 3 AM. I'm really used to it and can't sleep after that.
So lets say I work an early shift, which I like. I get to work, find I'm the only person scheduled for the first three or four hours. That's fine, no biggy. But I'm also expected to do the job of the person who was also supposed to come in at that time, plus my job and get it done in record time. If I don't I get my ass ripped when my department lead comes in at 7. Okay fine. So that happens, nearly every day. I can't do two jobs in less than four hours when it takes me at minimum, working breakneck speed to get one done in 6 when I'm scheduled for an 8 hour shift. Like today, I go in. We're three people short, I get no help, So far today I've done donuts, baked bread, and am going back to decorate cakes which mind you they took $.20 of my pay off because I no longer wanted to be a cake decorator buuuut, nope still gotta do them, and not get paid for it to boot.

Okay folks, I'm hurtin' and need the help, big time.

I really hate to do this folks, but things are getting down to the bare bones here in my household.
My car broke and needed fixed, the truck needed tires as it had two flats in a week, and not to mention the fact that our income has been docked for the last month by about half the little bit of savings I had ran through the bills like water. Checks were getting spent before I got them and things got a little out of hand.
Luckily I do see the light. We've got another source of income starting and everything should right itself in about three weeks when the first checks come in. But right now I've got three bills my check can't cover, not including groceries. The money for those went into cars, tires, and a couple other emergency expenses.
I don't want to sound like I'm begging, and by all means I'm not begging for donations, I'm more than willing to work for the money. I'm throwing out some Commissions/Ideas for you guys, and I hope some one can take them up. I can't have it all done by the time I need the money, but if you're patient and trust in me you will get your things. With my bills due the 2nd 5th and 8th.
And God I realise I sound like a bad entry on Artists Beware like I'm going to take the money and run. But I swear I'm not doing that. I enjoy the friends I've made here too much to just up and leave. I enjoy the community too much.

I've got a couple 70 page 9'x6' sketchbooks setting empty here. I've thought if some one was interested to sell these, let the buyer pick a theme and I spend the next month filling them with sketches of that theme, even a few colored images depending how much folks are willing to pay for them. I'd say something like $150 would get you the whole thing filled with a colored image every 10 pages or so....not sure how to run this, but the more money some one's willing to pay the more color, the less money more sketches and possibly fewer filled pages. I wouldn't want to push these for anything less than $75 for a half filled book.

General | Posted 15 years agoYou know you've browsed FA too much and become desensitized or corrupted when you finally come across a picture of a female character with out a dick and stare at it for a good ten minutes trying to figure out what's wrong with it. Only to conclude it's because she doesn't have a foot long wang....then you realize what you've just done and go play video games in shame instead.

It's a weird thing...

How often do you see artists who are perfectly nice folk, love to chat, this that and other, but don't share their screen names with anyone. Or if they do just don't ever log on. They appear online on forums and streams etc, but are never signed in for IMing.
I notice it all the time. With other artists, and myself.
Personally I feel my art in a way has alienated me from the fandom. Like some folk are afraid of talk to me because I draw. In other ways I feel it's alienated me because people fear I'll only think they're befriending me because they want free art. Etc etc...the list can go on and on.
I had a whole thought on this earlier and my brain kinda dumped and I lost half my thoughts on the subject, but think about it.
Hell I even find myself playing into it, not talking to artists for some weird intimidation feeling I get. Like I'm still not able to join the artist club and talk with other creators. It's weird.
Eh I'm going through some stressful times myself so these thoughts hit at odd intervals and barely piece themselves together. I'm trying to get my thoughts gathered and using journals to do it.

hozz got to it first, sooo, here I am following suit. If something doesn't make sense on my answers, reading his first might clear up the meaning. =3
1. Who eats more?
Hozz. Usually he eats half of mine as I gawk in awe at the hollow leg the boy must have.
2. Who said “I love you” first?
Admittedly Hozz. It was at 3:00AM on my way to work and I had pestered him when he was getting in late from work I think. Either way I said g'bye to him so he could get some sleep about half the way to work and he muttered those three little words, I hung up before I could really give an answer and squealed all the way to work. Needless to say my attention span was shot untill next I spoke with him.
3. Who is the morning person?
I gotta say I am. Half by choice, half by habit, and half because I like being an evil little donk about it. Because it's morning and the sun is up and the birds are chirping and it's time to start a brand new day!
4. Who sings better?
I would say he can...but partially because he kinda tries to sing good. Frankly I know I'm not giving up my day job for it. I'm also musically disinclined.
5. Who’s older?
....I am. God don't remind me I'm old....
6. Who’s smarter?
Street and application smarts is gonna be Hozz. I gotta give him that. Myself, I'm smarter on the level that I'm more outside the box inquisitive and have alot of book smarts and can do alot of process of elimination to get a correct, or good sounding answer.
7. Whose temper is worse?
His is a flash temper. Quick to show and quick to ebb, unless he's bitching about Ohio and glorifying Texas. Mine is quick to build up and I sit and fume and steam untill I grump a little.
8. Who does the laundry?
Me, though I try to convince him it needs to be a joint effort or atleast shared.....grump.
9. Who does the dishes?
Me, though he will suprise me now and again. And sometimes I'll make him do them and that's like pulling teeth.
10. Who sleeps on what side of the bed?
From the foot of the bed I sleep on the left and he sleeps on the right. And for who's normally piled up on who depends on the night, the tempurature, or the dreams.
11. Whose feet are bigger?
His by far, I wear a size 7 in mens and he's a size 10 uber fucking wide in mens.
12. Whose hair is longer?
I don't keep my hair real long, but it'll always be longer than his because I don't think he could get his long with out goin' half insane.
13. Who’s better with the computer?
I'm going to say he is as far as maintanence and that sort of stuff. Programs and other stuff is more me.
14. Do you have pets?
Yeaup, a couple fish, which...need fed now that I mention them, be right back. Okay I just recalled after getting down to like question 25 that since Hozz counted our dead crab, he forgot our suicidal shrimp that dove out of the bowl in the middle of the night and died on the kitchen floor. They were with child..and well..I guess a domestic life wasn't for them.

I pay alot of the bills, Hozz helps when he makes enough. =3
16. Who cooks dinner?
I honestly like cookin' for my stallion. XD I've only flubbed once so far, but it was under his advice.

I try to con my way into the driver's seat quite often, but he's persistant/insists on it etc....

Generally it's "Our Money" so, both of us I reckon.

Now by nature, being an ass folks would believe me to be more stubborn. This can be true, but I honestly think a pupony is more stubborn.

Whilest I may not stay mad at him for very long I don't admit I was wrong, because that's usually not the case.

Probably mine, and more Seren and my Dad than anyone. My family is almost always an informal hang out, when it's with his it's alway some kinda set up...

He insisted I name my fish, and he named his things...

I kissed him with ancient chinese style boohoo-smooch sneak attack! It was...a weird convoluted day that day.

Ouhm...we didn't really follow that traditional idea....it was more like 'Dude lets go hang out' then it went to 'Fuck...I think we like each other'
25. What did you do on your first date?
Well the first "Date" after the "Fuck I think we like eachother" moment...was also the first kiss day. He sprayed me with gasoline, nutted himself on a pole outside of office max trying to show off...that also ended in a face plant. We wandered around a small hickville town where I got alot of memories and we ended comin' back to the city with me a boo hoo in the car in the park and him more or less going "WTF she won't stop crying! *pat pat pat*" and at that point I got it in my head to kiss him. From there the evening went much better. And look where I am....well...not sure if I should brag about where I am, but I'm happy so that's all that matters.

Here's where I'd like to make a joke about him only lasting a few seconds, but alas...it sometimes takes hours ;3.
27. Who’s taller?
He is, by about six inches. In other words, just enough to make some sex positions awkward and painful.

Eh not sure, by my definition of friend I don't really have any. Seren would technically be one, but she's more family now so she no longer counts.

He does, I'm an only child and not too awful spoiled...right honey?

Good News Everyone!
General | Posted 15 years agoOkay mayhaps not good news. But is currently having a wonderfully weird and mildly difficult time in the shower...only using one hand, the other in a bread bag... I'm laughing...heartily.
Saturday night we went to my ol' man's house for a fourth of July pre bash sort of thing. A evening of good food and blowing shit up.
Hozz wanted to show off his smoking skills for brisket and needed to chop some of his wood smaller for the job. He inquired for a hatchet to do that and Dad told him so long as he didn't cut his fingers off sure.
Well...guess what he did right off the bat?
He's got a big gash in the end of his thumb, right from the nail after to the tip of his thumb. He's darn proud of it. So'm I. He'll be fine, it was our sacrifice to the fire gods, glad we got it over early.

General | Posted 15 years agoAnthrocon was a blast this year. I was a little more tied down as far as the dealer's Den goes but, I had a blast none the less.
Got in town on Thursday and after getting all settled in we had decided to go to the Buca Dinner. While I love Buca di Beppo's and am sure under other circumstances it would've been a nice trip, we found ourselves dismissing ourselves early because of a couple rude furs. I take it they were excited, they said it was their first AC and first Con, so perhaps new-experiences-jitters had the better of them, but I still found the experience leaving a bad taste in my mouth and Hozz and I will be dining on our own at Buca's next year. We called it a pretty early night on Thursday, mostly myself, partially because driving that much all day was a pain in my arse.
Friday morning started early in the room. I awoke at about 4 and managed to fiddle with showering, napping and such until about 7 before I woke up Hozz. We got ready and I paraded down to the Zoo to wait until the Dealer's Den opened and I could go join
at his table. There I worked on a few things to warm up my drawing hands and get things moving.
Good thing too. Friday was a fairly busy day for me as far as getting some assignments to be doing. I really enjoyed meeting everyone that came by the table and had an overall wonderful time. Rabbi-Tom and
were fun to sit and chat with while working on the backside of the table and their antics kept me fairly amused in the down time. It was a pleasure to meet eryshefalafel. Either way I walked away with a little more jingle and several drawings to be turning out by the next day.
Saturday was slower on the business side but I got to meet more people. Now, I keep emphasizing meeting folk which one would think I woulda got alot of that accomplished last year, but I was in hiding most of the time then. This year I actually stuck around and got to put alot of names to faces etc. Saturday I ended up running into
and hanging out a bit with the clydes himself and a couple of his buddies. Met with Jenner, artist of DocRat, through the Rabbi during the artist meet and greet. 
also swung by the table and got a little bit of art as well as their buddy Prucilla (can't find a FA for them). I also had

Either way I walked away with a little more jingle and several drawings to be turning out by the next day.Saturday was slower on the business side but I got to meet more people. Now, I keep emphasizing meeting folk which one would think I woulda got alot of that accomplished last year, but I was in hiding most of the time then. This year I actually stuck around and got to put alot of names to faces etc. Saturday I ended up running into
and hanging out a bit with the clydes himself and a couple of his buddies. Met with Jenner, artist of DocRat, through the Rabbi during the artist meet and greet. 
also swung by the table and got a little bit of art as well as their buddy Prucilla (can't find a FA for them). I also had 
buzz past the table in a whirlwind and zoom on. Again nice matching faces to names. Also had

.Sunday everything had to wind down and finally I got around to doing a little more people seeing got to wander by and say Howdy to
and later got to have a afternoon meal and meet up with

. I enjoyed the con greatly and hope to go next year and see everyone again.The ride home Sunday was thankfully uneventful and so was returning our rental car. Just now have I gotten the time to sort of wind down and bring everything together. Now comes the arduous task of cleaning up the apartment...again.
I met alot of new folk to look forward to seeing at future conventions. =3

Other than flooding your journal entries with streaming journals I've been pretty quiet.
But never fear folks I have been living and enjoying life, just kind of quiet. Having moved out I'm finding running a house hold, planning things, and working my full time job I don't have time to really sit and relax like I used to. But it's all good. I couldn't be happier.
Anthrocon!
