First off, needed to change my journal so I'm doing it lol

I will be attending MFF this year and I'm hoping to obtain a table with my good friend where we will be promoting our collaboration art. We need to get more of that out there and I hope we can get a table this year but even if it's one day it'll be awesome.

Anyway, everyone on my to do list I plan on having done in time for that con so for everyone on my to do list, they will be all be completed by mid next month so here's for me to kick it into gear and get my stuff out there lol. Update on life: Been super busy, teachers giving me ridiculous homework assignments, worst part is over (I think) and life it's kind of hard. My sister's mom is in the hospital and I don't know if she'll be coming out or not. So there's some stress on the family right now. But I'm seeing the silver lining and I'll be back on commission work this weekend. Love ya guys!

Today I got a message from someone telling me about a piece that they wanted me to draw for them. They went into full detailing about what they wanted and how they wanted it to look and everything. And at the very end of it, he said that he would only pay me if he liked the finish result AND decided to get it as a tattoo. WTF is wrong with people, I'm an artist for hire, I'm not going to spend a shit ton of time on a piece of work that I won't be getting anything for in return. And even if he does get it as a tattoo, who's to say I would even get paid anyway? People like that just piss me off and it's been bugging me all day. GAH! *flops over* I need more work but I need to be paid for it.

Oh well, gonna be a fun day tomorrow with friends, can't wait.

I would first like to get this out of the way. For those interested in buying a commission from me at some point in history, here is a heads up. I am getting comfortable with backgrounds and it takes a lot of time to create them, so soon (in about a month or two or might be a bit longer) I will no longer be giving out free backgrounds with commissions. I love creating them but like I said, very time consuming. It took a whole week and a lot of effort but finally, my room is all in order and all fixed up! I may still hang a few things here and there but everything is in place and it's all super clean. I put a lot of things in boxes and a bunch of things were thrown away cause I either didn't want them anymore or they just broke. But it's all fixed and I'm super happy about it. Next big project is the closet but that's gonna take a week minimum to do......and I'm not even joking. I'd just like to thank everyone who helped out and got me through it, thank you so much, love you :heart:

Also, I'm setting up a surgery date, turns out that I'm gonna need it to fix my finger. It's sad cause my pinky finger now just feels like it's an accessory more than and actual body part. I can't use it really and the only time I can feel it is if it gets caught on something and it bends the wrong way (and when that happens it's really painful). So just have to set that up and when that happens I might be out of a hand for a week with some strong ass medicine, we'll just have to see.

Sorry for the lack of activity on here for the past few days. I was planning on getting things done until I came across the chance to finally get a desk! (and for free no less). So with that said, I have pretty much taken apart my whole room to rearrange everything in order to give myself more space and to have a work area (I was drawing and doing homework laying on my bed til now so this is really nice). So I'll be done with everything in the next few days (I have to balance work on top of it all and I have A LOT of stuff in my room....I really mean it). That's right guys, I have decided that I would like to hold a contest. So for everyone that's looking to get some art from me, then listen up please *^-^*

Theme of the Contest
The theme of the contest is "A Day with Sarieu." What I want to see is if you could spend the day with this Eastern Dragoness, what would you like to do? Would it be a day at the beach, cherry blossom festival, or just sitting in a restaurant eating cheesecake? (These are just a few ideas, but there's so much more!) Let your imagination run wild and thing of something that would be totally awesome!

Types of Entries
There are several ways that you can enter this contest.
1. Artwork: I want to see what mastery of art you can create. Art work can be in the form of a drawing, sculpting, etc. Just do whatever you like and make sure to have fun with it *^-^*
2. Writing: I have always found stories to be a form of art so that would be nice to see. Make up a story or even a poem. Write to your hearts content and just have a blast with it.
3. Anything else: I you can think of something and want to go for it, then ask me about it. I'm sure I'll say yes but just to be sure.

Rules for Entries (Art form)
1. There needs to be at least two characters minimum in the entry. That would be a character of your choosing (OC I would assume lol) and Sarieu. You can always add more characters if you choose too but there has to be a min of 2.
2. The piece must be finished. If it's a drawing, then it must be in color. If it's a story, then there must be an ending. I will not accept unfinished work.
3. Seasons don't matter, it can take place any time of year lol

Due Date
The contest will end on September 12th 2011 At 12:00pm CDT (Central Time Zone). Just for the record, I live in Aurora, IL, USA so that's where I'm at lol. That's when all entries must be turned in to me. That is my birthday and I will be turning 21 that day. So I'll be out all night so the entries are due in the afternoon so I can get them all.

Rules for the Contest
1. Entries must be made specifically for the contest. I will not accept work that was made previous to the contest or for another purpose.
2. No Sex or Sex Related Fetishes. If you'd like to have nudity that would be fine (examples: changing clothes in a changing room while shopping, nudity in the hot spring, etc.) Playful flirting is fine but no closing the line. She's not one to kiss on the first day, she is a lady after all lol.
3. Anyone that chooses to enter is allowed to submit up to 2 entries. That way it gives you more of a chance for winning and if you're fighting between ideas then you can choose 2 of them.
4. If someone is being difficult, I have the right to decline their entry. This is a fun contest, I don't want drama.
5. I will re-post all the entries in a journal and be sure to link them back to the artist who has submitted them. That way everyone can see all the entries and the awesome artist who made them.
6. All submissions will be turned in my the due date. I will not extend the due date and I will make no exceptions for anyone. So be sure if you want to enter, that you get it done on time.
7. NO FETISHES! No: cub, vore, castration, torture, scat, super hyper stuff, tentacles, etc! If you have a question about something, then please ask! Don't want you to work hard on something just for me to shoot it down.
8. It's alright to ask for my opinion on things. i.e, making sure the coloring is right or if all the traits of a character are present. I won't judge it as an entry submission unless it's actually titled as so.
9. SUBMIT ALL ENTRIES BY NOTE TITLES OFFICIAL ENTRY! That way I know it's for the contest and that's the final submission. You don't have to title the piece that, just when you turn it in to me.
10. SUBMIT ONLY YOUR OWN CREATION. Don't have another person create something for you and then you turn in the final product. Your own work please.

Judging
I will be judging the entries based on creativity. So don't worry if you feel you're not the best artist, I'm looking for what fun could be had. Creative and colorful always get my attention *^-^* But give it your all and put a lot of thought into it.

Prizes
Now the moment you've all been waiting for. Because let's face it, if the prizes' aren't good, then who would like to enter.

Job hunting is harder then I remember it to be. Mom and I have been looking around but nothing's working right now. I'll keep trying at it because I can't stand this place much longer. The place makes me ill and the hours are terrible. If I work, then I feel ill but if I don't work, then I'm broke.

Also, dad's being really pushing about money. If i can't pay for the full amount i owe him this month, then he's taking away my car insurance and my phone as well. That'll be great for when i need to get to work/job hunt. Love you dad..................

Not to mention my finger issue is back. The shot i got only lasted for a month and a half and now it's back in a finger splint. It really hurts and it causes problems with typing, drawing, and just doing thing in my everyday life. I can still do everything, it just takes more time now because of it. The only way to get it pertinently fixed would be to have surgery but I can't even afford to finish paying off my previous doctor bill. I'll get out of this whole one day but right now it just sucks.

Alright guys, I should have done this a long time ago and I'm kicking myself for not doing this but I'm here to talk about the people who are closest to me and who I admire most in my life. There are a lot of people who are involved in my life but right now I want to talk about my close group of friends and the group that I am so proud to be a part of. The Baka Fantable Peanut Gallery. (I’m going to rant about my awesome friends in alphabetical order by nicknames so deal because I love them).

Aki/C.J : A kindhearted soul if you ever did meet one. Honestly, he’s a bit shy when you first come across this guy but when he warms up to you, you honestly get to meet a fantastic person. He’s gone through a lot in life and is still fighting a lot of hardship when it comes to figuring out who he is, but even in all the chaos, he still takes time out for the people that he cares about. I can’t tell you how many times he’s put aside his worries just to check up on his friends and to make sure that they’re alright. He also goes out of his way to find what makes them happy and get it for them. He never expects anything in return and is always happy to give so that the people he cares for are happy. Always putting himself behind the needs of others and that’s what makes him great. Also, with him struggling with his issues, he may be a bit confused at times, but I can honestly say that I have yet to see someone grow as much as this man here. He’s gone through so much but each day, he’s pulling himself up more and more and holding his head higher and showing how he can challenge his obstacles. It’s fantastic to see how there is hope and that even though things are hard, anything is possible if you just try. But that aside, he is also a great artist and I love seeing his progress as he becomes better and better with his toony work. Just looking through his gallery, you can really see how much he has improved in such a short time and it’s really amazing. Even though he’s very modest about his work, I feel that his passion and determination and love of this lifestyle will bring him to great heights and even better life opportunities.

Doggeh/Kelli : Honestly one of the most impressionable people you will ever meet in your life. This girl is crazy but in the best kind of way and I’m not kidding, I mean she’s really crazy. She’ll just do random things but it’s always for fun and it makes everyone laugh and have a good time. You’ll never have a bad day when you’re hanging out with this crazy fire cracker because she’s always doing shit that’s going to make you laugh your ass off. And even if you don’t, her laughing is just contagious so you’re laughing anyway. She’s so passionate about her love of whatever fandom she is enthralled in and I mean it. Her collection of sci-fi, DVDs, anime action figures as well as wall scrolls, there’s not room for anything else to fit in her room. And the best part of that is that she is being true to herself and the things she loves and she’s not afraid to show it. Not to mention her crazy love of sports makes for a hell of a time watching games, especially if it’s the teams that she loves. She even has a Christmas tree dedicated all to sports, and she has about four trees….maybe more. But yeah, love of sports and holidays. So many decorations and it’s really fun to go over to her house to see what holiday is plastering the walls. It really brings a sense of joy and memories and a welcomed feeling. Another thing is that she’s one that you always want to be hanging out with and doing things. She’s up for anything except for trying foods that she doesn’t like but she also comes up with a lot of fun activities and adventures for everyone to take part in. The best part about her is that no matter what, she’s always there to be the best of person that she can be, and that makes her amazing. Anyone would be lucky to have her in their lives.

Fantasy/Heather : I can’t tell you how strong of a person she is and no matter how much I try to tell you, it will never do justice to her. I can’t tell you how much this woman has inspired me and shown me how wonderful people can truly be. She has a rough life but that doesn’t slow her down in the slightest. When life comes at her hard, she stands right back up and pushes through it. She doesn’t fight back because she’s better than that and she rises above whatever challenge is thrown her way. I’ve seen her struggle through many hardships that one can possibly go through in life and I can’t tell you how much I admire her determination to fight through it all. And not only that, but no matter what happens she’s always the best person she can be. All the times she’s been there for everyone that she cares about, she’s the big sister that you wished you grew up with. She helps everyone and does everything she can and always puts everyone else in front of herself. She’s a beautiful young woman who has strong dreams that I know one day will come true because I know that she will work hard to reach those dreams and hold them close to her heart. And when that time comes, she’s going to share her joy with everyone that she loves. And I can honestly say she will reach those dreams because I know her story will come true because it’s a fantastic story and her artwork is amazing. Go check her work out and I’m serious, she does fantastic work that will only become more amazing as time goes on. I just hope that you all can see how great of an artist she is and one day is able to read her story when it becomes published. And I’m getting a signed copy damn it.

Kia/Rose: Hands down, one of the most interesting people that you are ever going to meet in your life. This girl is both smart and fun and is an all around amazing person to call a friend. First off, this girl is smart, and I mean really smart. Not only is she working really hard in school, taking lots of micro-biology classes, and many other fancy classes that I would be lost on the first day of, but she’s also working hard to look into becoming a member of the medical field. That right there shows that her compassion for people is admirable. But going back to the smart thing, I’m honestly sure she’s going to read this and correct my grammar in at least six different places. Also, she knows half of the information of the world and I’m not even joking. You know when someone knows a fact that just makes no sense as to why they know that, well, she knows pretty much half of all those facts. It puzzles me how someone can fit that much information in their brains but it’s honestly something that I find really cool. But moving on, this girl knows how to have fun. Her nostalgia is through the roof and even though most of her interests come from things in the past, which most of her friends and I also love, this girl can whip the floor with anyone that tires to out school her in anything that she knows and loves. Also, she loves all the old school anime which is far better than the stuff that is put up now a days and it is true. Another thing I have to point out, I don’t know how someone can drink as much coffee as she does and not be affected by it, it does not make any sense. And let the woman have her morning coffee, she needs it damn it and don’t try getting up before she does and that’s a warning. Honestly though, she has brought so many found memories to all the people that she loves and hanging out with her has been some of the greatest times of my life. Honestly, once you get to know her, one of the most intriguing, yet greatest persons you’ll ever meet.

Leafy/Tyler : Ah, he can go jump off a bridge and I’m totally kidding! He’s like my best friend and one of the weirdest people you can ever bring into your house. And I’m just saying that because he’s an awesome guy and we joke around way too much. But seriously, this man is dedicated to his work and you can see the passion that he puts into everything that he does. This man is an artist, both when it comes to ideas as well as actual art. I have never seen so many creative ideas cover the walls of an art exhibit or even the walls in a home. His ideas are over the top and only something that a genius would think up. And not only crazy, but his work is amazing and just seeing all the pieces he produces, you know he’s going to make it big and is going to be well known someday. Not only that, but he’s also very passionate about other ideas that he has. He’s been so helpful when it comes to my story and half of the ideas he’s thrown out at me, I would have never thought of for myself. Also got to throw it out there, but he’s fun to have a parties, always doing something crazy and everyone is going to remember it for years to come. But the best part about him is that he’s a great friend. Sure, there are times when things go sour for a bit, but that happens with everyone, but he’s a man that when it’s time to get serious, he does what he can for the people that he cares for and that’s really admirable. He may not always know what the right thing to say is but he does his best to be there for the ones that he cares for. Always going out of his way to be the best that he can be and to show people that he really does care about them.

Neil/Sweta: I will honestly admit that there is so much more that I need to learn about her but never the less, that doesn’t make her any less of an amazing friend. I may not get to see her much, but when I do, it’s one hell of a party….even if we’re not actually having a party. And she has a lot of drive when it comes to tackling life’s challenges. This girl has been all over the world for her education and to better her life so that she can be who she wants to be. Her life isn’t standing still, she’s taking the bull by the horns and making something out of her life. She’s moving to new places and accomplishing things that I could only imagine how to do. She’s a work all on her own and it’s just amazing to see where she’s going with her life and what’s she’s doing to achieve her goals. On top of her being an intelligent individual, she also is a great person to be around. The words that come flying out of her mouth are both terrifying as well as extremely funny and just talking to her brings out the best in people. Honestly, she’s fantastic to talk with and I have never had more meaningful conversations in my life. Those days that we just sit up and talk about our lives, it’s really something that holds a lot of meaning to me and I wish that we could do it more often. She knows when to have a good time but she also knows how to bring out the best in people. Her mind is a tricky thing, but if she’s willing to let you in on a few things, then you’ve honestly met one of the coolest people you will ever call a friend.

Sora/Katie: The brightest ball of curly energy that you are ever going to have the live be squeezed out of you by. Honestly, first thing you’re going to learn about this extremely happy person is that she gives both the best and death clenching hugs and they are fantastic. Once you’ve survived that, you got yourself one crazy hyper fun time person. This girl knows a ton about superheroes, mostly Xmen, as well as a shit ton of sci-fi and she is damn proud of it. This girl may not have her room plastered in fandom but that doesn’t diminish her love of all the nerdy things that bring this girl one of the biggest smiles you’ve ever seen. Also, she’s really bubbly and I mean all the time. This girl is never upset and she always has a smile on her face that rubs off on everyone that she touches. And I say that because she’s so affectionate and awesome. The only thing that outshines her personality, is her love of music and the theater. I have always admired people would could perform on stages and bring life to the show and she’s one of those people. I need to go see her shows because the theater is some place that I love and with her being involved in it, it’s all the more reason why it’s a fantastic place to be. But the greatest thing to do is hand that girl her clarinet and watch her face light up. This girl has had her fingers attached to that instrument since before I met her and she hasn’t put it down since. Her love of marching band and sharing that musical love with everyone around her, it’s almost like paying for the greatest concert in the world. Her smile brings so much performance to her playing that it’s the greatest song you will ever hear. Really, check this girl out because she’s one that you’ll want to keep forever.

This group of people has been with me for a long time and I hope that I will get to share my life with them until the day I die. These guys mean the world to me and I just need to show them more how much they really do. And I’m glad I did this, because even though I didn’t write a novel about all of our times together, writing this has made remember all the reasons why I love them so dearly. So think about the ones that touch your life and make you feel loved because without them, it’s really not a life worth living.

Because I could really go for a slice.....or the whole cake. Sorry, it's my favorite and with the day I had, I could use a piece.

Working on art, I'm getting more done than before but I am sorry that I am still somewhat of a slow digital artist. I'm doing what I can to get projects done faster but that's still a working progress.

That's right, i'll be gone all weekend because it's Acen time again! Remember, i'm still a huge anime/video game fanatic lol. So i'll be there all weekend dressed as Gakupo (he's a vocaloid for those who don't know). I will be walking around with who will be Kaito and many other friends who won't be vocaloids lol. So more art when i get back, promise! LOVE YOU ALL!

Bleh, my last journal is so depressing lol so here's a better one.

Doctor says I have trigger finger so he gave me a shot of cortisone and said if it's not better in 5 weeks then it's time to operate. It's been feeling better but there are times that it still really hurts. Only time will tell if it's a complete fix or not.

Also just finished two really big projects for class. 2 10 pages papers in 2 days baby XD. Granted one's not due til later but that was a miscommunication but I still have it done none the less. They're out in 2 weeks so that means finals are coming up, though I feel that there's not going to be a final in any of my classes, maybe one because the way they're all talking is if it's just going to be a test. Either way I'm not worried lol.

Also got my wig for my cosplay in the mail today. For Acen I'm going as Gakupo (he's a vocaloid for those who don't know) and with be accompanying me as Kaito. Hell yeah it's gonna be awesome. I always go with our good friends but they're doing different cosplay groups but we still love each other lol.

I also have been doodling like crazy and I have almost completely revamped my main characters in my story. I need to be working more on those but I'm getting motivated so it's all good lol.

Wow, I can't even remember the last time that I did a journal entry. I use to make one all the time but as of lately I don't find myself wanting to talk about every little thing or even just wanting to type out anything. But I feel that a good vent every once in a while is a good thing and I'm sorry if this sounds like a bitch fest but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I hit a wall and I hit it pretty damn hard too. I broke up with my boyfriend and I just feel numb about everything. I have my moments when I'm really questioning if what I did was right but I feel that I haven't spent enough time working on the issues that I have from previous incidents and that's something that needs my attention more than anything right now. I've been focusing on what I feel I need to fix about myself but when I have a moment or two, I just go off because I need to be alone. Emotions just come rushing in and it's just hard for me to handle sometimes.

Also, my health has been up and down since I can't even remember. One day I'll be fine but then the next day I'll be sicker than a dog. I feel my immune system has to be down or something so I've been taking vitamins and what not. Haven't been taking them long so I'm not sure if they're working or not but still, helps in the long run. And I'm also finally going to see a doctor about my finger, I'm pretty sure it was broken and then healed up in a messed up way but who's to say until I actually get results. After that's done, then I'll focus getting my other health issues checked out. I would go sooner, but I'm having issues even affording gas right now.

On to money issues, work has been cutting hours like no tomorrow. They're barely giving enough out as it is and then they'll cut if they over staff. Honestly, half the time I don't even want to go in anymore. I'm allergic to the popcorn (I work at a movie theater) and I'm sorry but there are so many stupid people out there in the world that it's not even funny. My mom says that jobs have a life span and sometimes it just ends and I feel she's right. I'm gonna start looking for a new job, it'll take some time but when I get more hours than I do here and I won't feel ill every time I walk through the door, then I know I'll have made the right choice.

As for school, I'm still having issues focusing on doing homework but I'm doing what I can. I've been misses classes because I've been ill but I'm doing what I can to keep in touch with my teachers and to have all the work done. I've also been studying for test like I never use to do and I've gotten nothing but high grades on those. It feels really nice and I feel like I'm actually getting somewhere with my education. I still have more work to do but honestly, it's good work and I feel that this is actually taking me somewhere in life. I also like coming to school because I get to get out of the house. It's just been pretty crazy there and as of lately, I don't feel so keen on my room. I love my posters and all my figures and how they're set up, but I feel it's time for a change. I mostly just want new furniture and a new look. Posters/wall scrolls and figures are all staying put, but I can move things around now and maybe even get a desk for drawing and homework. Seriously, I do all of my work on a bed and it sucks to lay down because I feel so lazy and half the time I fall asleep on my work. Ah, just need to be motivated and I feel that starts with a comfortable living space.

Ah, alright, I think I'm done for now. Sorry for all of the crap that I just threw out there but there are just days when I need to vent. It may not be pretty, but it's better than me blowing up. And honestly, I may seem very crabby and have a lot of pint up stress but I'm actually pretty carefree and I've been doing what I can to better my life. For every issue that I have, I have far more better times. But like I said before, need to vent what issues I do have, even if they don't seem all what they are cracked up to be. But on the brighter note, I'll always be open for commissions so if anyone is ever interested, don't hesitate to hit me up. And I've also been extremely addicted to vocaloids. Like really addicted so if anyone listens to them and has a good song they'd like to recommend, then I am totally open for that. I'm also going to be Gakupo for Acen this year so that's pretty exciting. Alright, now I'm done lol. Thanks everyone, love you all

Ah, what a fun weekend this was. Not really, I was sick again lol. I honestly think there might be something wrong with my immune system because almost every other week, I'm suffering from something else that is making me sick. Oddly enough, I had a fever this weekend. I haven't broken 100 since I was four so I was surprised to find my temp was at 101.8 last night. Not to mention I have a low temperate as is so it was very uncomfortable last night.

I'll also be heading to the doctor's on thursday to get my finger checked out. I honestly think I broke it when I fainted at work. Might have smashed my hand of the railing when I went to grab it as I feel. Don't really remember but it's hurting a lot now and I can't have a messed up finger if I want to keep drawing lol. Ah, I'm just a mess lol.
