Flexible Survival
General | Posted 14 years agoBeen playing this rather addictive TF game for a while and since i am so hooked on it, i figured it was worth sharing with anyone around here who might be interested.

Is the link, and the game itself is both addictive, and constantly being updated. Basically you are trapped in a city during the Furpocalpyse, weird stuff is happening, people are turning into strange things, latex creatures are wandering around, and you, being the smart little cookie you are, took shelter in an old bunker at a library that you knew about. Of course after a while your food and water started to get low, and now you have to venture out into a changed city to try to find enough food and water to survive, and fend off all the strange creatures that want to change you to make you more like them.
In theory the goal is to survive until the rescue unchanged, fighting off all the beasts and foraging skillfully, of course, the fact that each change often makes you stronger, as you take on some of the beasts around you attributes, makes the game even more interesting. Half the fun though is in the exploring all the different creatures and seeing what happens if you lose to them and they change your body. Eventually if your humanity gets too low, you will give in and become one of the feral beasts yourself, often with a different ending scene specific to the type of beast you end the game as. Of course you can get diffrent scenes about life after the rescue if you manage to last that long, which also depend on your form at the time of rescue.
The game itself is a lot of fun, and offers a lot of variety, especially if you come up with new challenges for yourself, such as once a creature defeats you, submitting to it whenever you encounter it until you have the full change... a no running away playthrough... things like like that add a fun bit of randomness to the whole affair.
Anyways, you should probably go try it sometime, you might enjoy it as much as i am. Just sending the word out about this awesome game to anyone who might still be watching around here. And if you like MUDs, they even made a MUD based on it as i understand!

General | Posted 18 years agoalmost 1000 pageviews even though ive been to busy to do much here lately... wow. I feel like i should do something for that, but I'm not sure what... Life has been so slammed lately with the holidays, and then my dog passed away i just havent been in the mood to write much. Still if someone snags the 1000th pageview i'll see what i can do for it, no promises but hey ^.^.
Just because
General | Posted 18 years agoI'm in a weird mood today, and just feeling like i need to get writing a bit more. So I figured I'd see if anyone had any requests for stories or writing. Within some limits I'd be willing to entertain most requests. First three replies in the journal get to go over what they want with me and I'll see what i can do. I make no garuntees but I feel like giving it a try so lets see how it works ^.^
