General | Posted 16 years agoI will be cleaning out my scraps folder at the end of the week. If there's something you wanna save from there (commissions especially) then grab them while you can! As always, if something goes missing, and you want to see it again, you can tell me to put it back and I will. It's mostly gonna be old stuff or things that had a very low view count.
Spring Cleaning.. of ART
General | Posted 16 years agoThose who wander back through my gallery may notice it's a little less cluttered. Here's what's goin' on...
1. Duplicate images (like black and white version of color images) have gone into my scraps folder. Redundant images (same character, arm positioned differently) have also been sent there.
2. Images that do not represent my normal style (experimental images) have gone into my scraps folder.
3. Images that for whatever reason fell far short of my expectations for the time frame that they were produced... have gone into my scraps folder.
The scraps folder is the final resting place for many of my images. In about a month, I will be going back through that scrap folder and clearing out a LOT of artwork. It will be gone from the net -forevar-. Those who for some strange reason wish to see something stay can toss a comment my way, but this message is mostly for those who I have done gift art for that is now in the scraps folder that they want to save another copy of. My gallery was just becoming very heavy with images that don't necessarily represent my style, or were redundant.

Commission Information
General | Posted 16 years agoThis is what I am tentatively working with. I want to make sure I am as specific as possible so I am not able to accidentally mislead or mis-state my intentions.
My color commissions are digital only, meaning I will complete the commission and email it to you, I do not have inking sets for physical coloring. I CAN do black and white inked work and mail originals, but only black and white. I charge no difference between black and white physical commissions, and black and white digital commissions.
I specialize with canid or vulpine characters as I am still learning the trade, but will try ANYTHING if properly described, though unfamiliar territory may result in slightly longer wait times.
I take payment typically upon my providing a small, low-quality proof-scan of the finished product so I do not get stuck under deadlines where I am already holding money. I prefer to be as fair in my dealings as possible, and take my commissions as they come.
I will not draw copywritten characters not owned by the person commissioning me, though I know there are a few fans of the Sirius series who might like works of the characters in that series, even with their own characters. I WILL do that, since I own the other character.
Work can be displayed on my site if the commissioner wishes, though it is not done by default. Only by request.
Commissions are property of the commissioner and can be scanned and posted at their leisure, but I ask that my name NOT be removed from commissioned work except in the case where the item is being used as an avatar or an icon.

Commissions
General | Posted 16 years agoDue to a monetary emergency I am considering offering commissions for the first time. The only problem is, i am not exactly sure how to do that effectively. I've never taken payment for commissions online and am concerned that setting up for it and the like will ultimately not get the emergency funds in time. Does anyone out there know the best way of doing this? I have an epassporte account, but don't know the best way to let people pay me via that. I am generally only paid via online -companies- on epassporte.

General | Posted 17 years agoSomeone has done some splendid fan art of my character from the Sirius Series, Nidaja! Nidaja is, for some reason, a fan favorite, so she gets more attention than her sister, Nita. It's okay though. She's strong enough to handle a crowd. :D Anyway, GO! GO check it out! 1. Is there anyone on your friends list you would ever consider having sex with?
Yes, though I am engaged now, so it would only be fantasy sorts of consideration.
2. Sex in the morning, afternoon or night?
This one gets personal. It depends on what i am trying to do. I i want to go on and on and on and not stop, morning. If I want to be spontaneous and playful, but just enjoy it, night.
3. What side of the bed do you sleep on?
Right side. Master always sleeps on the RIGHT. Both my mate and my dog sleep on my left.
4. Pork, beef, or chicken?
BEEF. Omg cow. I love cow. I love COWWWW!
5. Have you ever had to pull over on the side of the road to puke?
Yes. Caught some kind of stomach bug. Had to pull over like.. every six minutes on a 200 mile road trip.

General | Posted 18 years ago2007 has been a wonderful year for which I am supremely grateful! I had all kinds of progress this year, and not just with my art.
I got my teeth fixed. It cost 10,000 dollars, but my finacee', my loving and adoring Renasunae (some know her as Ithunna) was willing to use her own credit to get this very neccessary work done. I can smile pretty again, and am no longer ashamed to do so. I am very happy.
I got glasses! I needed them all my life. Putting them on was like seeing the world completely transform. It was like having an old nintendo, and then playing a PS2 for the very first time. I could not afford them before, but now I can. I am very happy.
I got my driver's liscense. Yep. That's right. At the age of 31, I had never had a driver's liscense. Now I number among all the 'normal' people that have one. I don't have a car yet, but I commonly enough drive myself to work in Rena's Nissan Maxima. I am very happy.
But, most of all, I have gained many new friends who have supported me in so many ways through a year that has been difficult and full of very hard work. The changes I have made have not been easy, but they have been, as I have always reminded myself, very much for the better. And the whole way I have had friends to support me, even if they did not know their occassional kind words were needed and did help a lot, they gave them all the same.
Thank you all, for all you do, and all you are, every single day.

No Subject
General | Posted 18 years agoWell, I have moved to Texas. My art will be a little more sporadic for a little while perhaps, though I still intend to do some drawing on my days off. I have submitted nearly one hundred images since I began submitting regularly about a year ago. I hope to be able to keep that up. I have improved a lot, and am almost ready to start a comic. i need to work more on drawing scenery, but, if I start with a simple comic, I do not need to draw anything complex for backgrounds. I do not think I will do a simple joke-a-day sort of strip, I want to maybe do a series. I may -start- with a joke a day sort just to get the hang of it. It will not be my final product.

General | Posted 19 years agoI have found myself concentrating more and more on my drawing, and less and less on my writing. I hope I can eventually marry the two, and start doing a comic. I have so much to learn though! So, this site will be dedicated to the journey.. from my sketchy, fumbling, bungling start, to hopefully a well recieved and appreciable end. To those who give advice and who give support, thank you. I'm gonna need it!
