Hey everyone. I know this is kinda standard, but I need some help if possible. I just found out I owe a bit to taxes that I was not anticipating. As well, the power supply on my desktop went out today. I've confirmed it's the power supply, but the spare I used to test only has the one connection, and is lacking the 12v four pin connector for the processor. If anyone should possibly want to commission me, I would do say a full character sketch for 15-20. I could quite use the funds.

Sooo..the new Mortal Kombat comes out tuesday. Anyone else hyped up about it? I really am. My favorite character, Shang Tsung, seems to have gotten at least partial morphing ability back. Just his opponent, but better than lacking it completely. Who else is gonna have it release day??

Whoo! Hey all. Been a while, I know. So, I said a week, and it's been what, couple months? Anyway...I got three responses to the Dasher thing. And hey, all of them were nicely done. So, I'm thinking I will eventually at least sketch all three. Might take me some time, but I would like to. So, in case you guys were wondering. All three of ya who sent me notes wanna send me a link to a current character pic?

So...has anyone else noticed that Luigi is really incredibly gay? I mean, seriously...one of his alternate costumes is this bright pink affair. He ends one of his combos by smacking his opponent with his ass. And his Final Smash is this incredibly gay little dance number, complete with bright neon lighting coming from outa nowhere.

Aright all. With the latest picture, I rather liked the idea of the whole thing. And ya noticed the room number behind him? Well room A is the room devoted to letters just asking for a reindeer in general. Room B would be Dasher, which I think our fellow is going to move on to next. So...

I'm thinking if anyone out there wants to write a letter to Dasher, they could do so and send it to me here, as a note. I'll put the one or ones that inspire me down as a drawing. Dasher just might end up flying down your chimney.

But there's a catch. It has to be an actual letter of what you'd want Dasher for. So, no generic, "hey, draw him doing this.." No five page long character descriptions. Just start it out with Dear Santa, this year I've been a very good **Species**, and I'd like...

I'll wait...oh say a week, and then put out a journal with who made Dasher most drippy. The letters sent will be included as part of the drawing.

Hey all. I'm looking for some tips and tricks from people out there who work with digital coloring more than I do. In my gallery, there's a couple pictures of people manipulating fire. Well, I'm trying to color it in Photoshop. But layers and effects therein are still somewhat of a mystery to me. Anyone who can give me some help with creating realistic highlights, such as fire close to the body might create, would be greatly appreciated.

So, I'm looking for a picture. I have it somewhere on my hard drive, I know I do. I just can't find it. Various formattings of my computer and backing up and moving things has resulted in it being lost. It's a very nicely done picture of a tiger, sitting and slightly slouched on what appears to be a wooden throne, and looking at the camera. If anyone could tell me the filename, or where I can find a copy of it, I would be appreciative. Yes.

Heading home for a week. Good old Idaho. I shall be visiting family. And as they are on dialup, and have no scanner, I shall not be submitting anything. I'll see everyone in a week =)

So..I am considering buying a new tablet. My current is a Wacom 3x4. This severely limits my drawing style, as I tend to rely on more sweeping motions of the hand when I'm sketching.
I've saved up the money to buy an Intuos 3, 6x8 tablet. Just a little bit smaller than the paper I'm used to working on. But I thought I would ask..those of you with more experience drawing on the computer...is it worth it?

Any thoughts you can share on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
