Extremely Decentralised
Posted 3 months agoShould probably mention that I have dropped the Sashinka name on Telegram so if someone else grabs it, that isn't me. Aside from notes here that I intend to check once a year, the only way to contact me is to have already been in contact with me.

Posted 2 years agoI'm Sashinka and my fabulous secret power is clicking +Block on cool artists when I meant to click the +Watch button and not realising until

Posted 2 years agoHELLO SORRY my internet existence is specifically crafted so that I can disappear at a moment's notice and generally only talk to people in one-on-one chats, which is great until someone tries to find me again years later. I am just difficult to find! I do at least check notes here eventually although I'm extremely inactive on all social mediums [sic] while doing a big stressful thing for work that should be done some time in August.
Life's been going pretty well, though. How've you been?
UPDATE I did not pass and now either need to pass this test after the mandatory waiting period or find a different job SO more time offline

Posted 6 years agoIt's the First of December, 2024. This journal was blank for a while, I'm just editing it now (that's why Caroo's comment is down there, hee. It's unrelated!)
Uh, but, this journal was made on the 2019 day I couldn't fight it any more. It's been time for a new fursona for five years. The amount of people who feel like they can hurt the creator of citras by hurting the people who have citra fursonas has gotten just a little bit higher than I'm able to tolerate.
The random comments displeased that the story on Wikifur says citras are mostly homosexual males (?) (seriously, why me?) or the brand new replies to comments on other peoples citra art that I left years ago, from twenty year old furries who get their history from YouTube essays. The person who insisted on drawing my character after I gifted them a tablet, then "didn't want to lose subscribers" to their $90/month Patreon by drawing a citra.
...That toxicity was spent on me instead of the target, sure, but it's not like I've been so nice this whole time. It took me a long time to come to terms with my own flaws—it took me a long time to even recognise some of them as flaws. It's time for me to start over. I was so happy as Sashinka, for thirteen years. ...Well, eight of those years. I'm ceding the name on Telegram on the 12th and switching to my new fursona. Took me a long time to find something that had as many connections to my soul as Sashinka did.
I spent a long time thinking that I'd been robbed of something that meant so much to me. The truth is I'm the one that changed. I'm not the person you miss, if you're reading this. More people know what my next Internet name is than I'd like, but I'm asking them not to spill the beans.
If you're worried, the website will display a blurb on the bottom of the main index page if I go more than a month without turning on one of my computers. It's had a false alarm once, when I got a new one and hadn't opened my laptop in over a month, so maybe ask around instead of taking it at face value if it does say something...
If I don't make this the featured journal on the 12th, then whoops. I'll log on annually, at least, to read notes. If not 11/11, then 12/12.
