He received some pretty devastating news about his dog today and the bills are already piling up, but Alcho's doing whatever it takes to keep him as comfortable as possible.
Even if you can't spare anything, just helping spread the word could do a lot of good!

Moving Accounts!

As the title of this journal suggests, I will be moving to a new account as of January 1st, 2018. This is something I have been thinking about for a while now, and I would just really like to have a more consistent username across multiple sites, and be able to stop signing things a million different ways each time I post somewhere new. I do hope some of you will take the time to rewatch me on my new account, which is

Now, as a little added incentive I will be holding a raffle over on the new account. I have big plans for my art this year and hope to try out some new things, such as YCH's, design adopts, different styles, sales, etc, so I hope to see some of you over there!
Raffle rules:
1. Comment on this journal telling me you'd like to enter!
2. Current watchers of
who rewatch will receive an additional entry.
3. People who have commissioned me in this past year will also receive an additional entry.
4. New watchers are welcome!
I will be accepting entries until January 31st, and will announce the winner during the first week of February! The winner will receive a full body shaded piece from me! For more detailed rules, please see the journal linked above.

By commissioning Sassenach, the client agrees they have read and agree to the following terms. These terms are subject to revision and change without notice. Commissions are worked on in an order according to Sassenach's discretion.
Sassenach retains the right to decline a commission at her discretion.
Payment
Payment is required upfront and will be done through Paypal invoices in USD. No work will begin on a commissioned work until the invoice is paid.
For larger purchases (exceeding $300), payment plans can be discussed ahead of time.
Invoices must be paid within 5 business days or they may be cancelled, at the discretion of Sassenach.
Artistic License, Alterations
Sassenach retains the right to artistic license. The client's needs will be met in the way that is most compatible with the artist's individual style.
Alterations to pieces completed by Sassenach are not to be made without prior discussion and agreement.
Information, Deadlines
Sassenach declares that all work, unless otherwise stated, will be completed within 45 business days, excluding US national holidays. Business days are defined as Monday-Friday, 9-5.
Clients may request rush orders at an additional fee, which must be discussed and confirmed prior to acceptance of the commission. Sassenach retains the right to refuse rush orders at her discretion.
The client agrees to provide visual reference whenever possible, and to host said reference for the duration of the contract. Broken links will result in delays, which Sassenach is not accountable for.
The client is encouraged to give detailed feedback at each stage of the process in order to ensure they are satisfied with the final product. Once a stage has been completed and confirmed, prior stages will not be altered. When available to the client, work in progress will usually have a minimum of two stages:
Sketch
Flat colors
The client may request an update at any time within reason, at Sassenach's discretion.
Significant changes to the original brief and changes required once a WIP stage has been approved will incur additional fees once work has begun on the commission.
Rights and Usage
The client may upload the finished piece as they like but the signature must not in any way be altered or removed.
Finished pieces will be provided as a .png file as a dropbox link. Other file formats may be requested.
Images will be hosted for a maximum of 7 days following completion. The client accepts the full responsibility for saving and securing their files. Sassenach is under no obligation to host or preserve the client's piece after 7 days of completion.
Sassenach will not provide unflattened PSD files under any circumstance.
Refunds, Cancellations, Contract Termination
The client may receive a 100% refund if cancelled before work has begun.
The client may receive a 60% refund if cancelled after completion of the sketch
The client may receive a 0% refund for anything that is beyond the sketch phase.
Refunds exclude additional costs such as Paypal, bank fees, and currency exchange fees.

Price Change

I had to update my prices to more accurately reflect how long things take me. I know some people won't like this, but it is what I have to do so I don't work myself to death for nothing. Thank you for understanding!
Just wanted to mention that in the very near future (hopefully within the next week), I will be adjusting my current commission prices. Some things may stay the same, and some things will increase. Until I get the new sheet posted, I will honor the currently listed price so if anyone wants to grab anything while it's cheap, now's the chance! Full body flat and shaded in particular will be going up for sure so if you've been waffling on something, now's your chance!

I've been a bit inactive here but I'm really trying to change that! So expect to see more from me in the future. That being said...
I need to adjust my price sheet again, but before I do that I wanted to offer a couple experimental comms (at a discounted price), with my watchers getting first dibs. So what I am offering is:
Full body, shaded: $20USD (this is a $10 discount) One slot only.
Can be anthro or quad
Most likely cel shaded, the shading is the experimental part of this one.

Just post your refs below, and if there's a specific emotion/expression you're interested in let me know and I'll try my best, but no guarantees!
These will be simple headshots/busts with limited color, similar to this ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/21254144/ ). I will upload them in batches, but I will note you your individual sketch.

2. SFW references preferred
3. Must have visual reference, no descriptions!
4. If reuploaded, credit must be given!
