I'm catching up on posting the backlog of work I've been doing! My computer needed replacing in a dramatic fashion and my energy was just so drained from that, I skipped uploading to focus on the actual commissions and resting. Other than that, things have been good! Gonna take some time to refresh my convention setup a bit, as some of my prints are quite old by now! I'm really thankful people have been loving them as long as they have, but it is time for a change! I've had some ideas kickin around for a while and i'd love to get those out into the world, and prints work well for that haha.

I joined furrylife online yesterday, my name is sassypants over there too! I'm really loving it so far. It's more socially driven than FA but more art driven than twitter. While I will still be updating both FA and twitter, I'd really love to see some familiar faces on FLO if anyone wants to find me over there <3

I'll also be opening commissions either mid september or early october. I was planning for this month, but to be honest I just need a break. The past few years have been extremely stressful IRL. I haven't gotten much of a chance to process that and move on because I've been buried under work trying to keep up with bills in all of it, and I just need to sleep it off and refresh.

Hey everyone, thank you for the supportive comments on my last journal! I just wanted to let everyone know I've moved (again, lol) and am settled in for now, so things should proceed as normal now that that's over. I'm mostly just tired and sore now, but glad to be out of there haha.

As many of you know, I spent much of april and the beginning of may moving. The story of how and why this happened is really long and I dont want to go into it, but our current housing situation is turning out to be very bad and we may need to move again so that we can be somewhere safe.

After a really difficult few years this really takes the cake for shit that can go wrong. My depression has been off the walls bad for the past few years and for a while I was overworking myself because I didn't want to think about any of the other stuff happening in my life (I am taking better care of myself now, even though shit is worse.)

But the point is you guys have all been really patient while I work through commissions on top of this and I wanted to say thank you.

I want to eventually get around to posting my GIGANTIC backlog of badge photos that I havent posted. I started off strong, compiling them after each con but it quickly got to be too much to edit and piece together with take home commissions so there are just years and years of badge photos taking up space and I want to get them posted lmao. I do want a nice solid collection of them on my FA, and I LOVE badges, so I'll try my best to group them by con when i do upload them to avoid spam.

I also want to open up some new commission tiers, possibly a sculpture tier? I really love sculpting and used to do commissions for it but I was in college at the time and had to stop do to my animation thesis. I also want to try full marker pieces and more painterly digital pieces. I might offer feeler commissions for all of these tiers on a pay what you want basis, since my process for all of them would still be settling in. WE'LL SEE WHAT HAPPENS I GUESS! I have plenty of current work to get through before I reach that point anyway.

I've been wanting to use Trello for a while, so I will no longer be putting my queue in my journal. It takes a bit longer to set up, but the time saved by having everything in one place will help streamline work on my end too. I will also be sending out links to this in future confirmation emails. Please check the above link if you want to track progress of your commissions in a more reliable way! There is a checklist on each commission and a color key.

NOW, for some updates on life in general. Things over here are... bad. I keep hoping they'll get better but I haven't taken time off for myself in a while and I think I need to start doing that each week. Everyone who commissioned me at TFF, your wait times are pretty accurate, I might get to you sooner, but your current wait times are calculated with my current state in mind. I'm not sure I'm ready or willing to talk about these things here (feels too formal and makes me uncomfortable), but they're on my twitter if anyone is wondering.

Last year I kept digital commissions closed at Fur The More because I still had some left from TFF, but this year I think I'll stay open and just add them to the end of the queue with an appropriate wait time if it's not completely unreasonable.

Hi all! Sorry for the silence around here, I've been taking some much needed time off. I've decided to do a really casual marker badge preorder for Anthrocon, examples can be found below! I'm also doing fullbody badges now, so if you'd like info on those please ask! I'll be in the dealers room at table L06 with digital commissions open at con as well! Badges are $60 each and medium sized, roughly 4 inches wide by 5 inches tall. They are done traditionally in marker and are one of a kind, made to order. Note me if you'd like one!
