Solstice
Posted 5 years agoBlessed solstice to all of you!
May the veil of ages be pulled back to unite us, past, present and future; may this return of the sun find only the best things for you and yours.
May this cycle bring you joy.
And personally, from this creature of night, may the night’s blessings be upon you; may the moonlight guide you; may the shadows protect you; may the starlight light your way until the darkness fades.
-Your faithful dragon,
watcher of the night,
on wings of shadow.

Posted 7 years agoI am still a dragon, and I've been reasserting my dragony side, of late. Part of that is my return to wicca, and the colors re-blooming throughout my world as my spirituality comes back into prominence.
Tangled up in there somewhere is my slow recovery from Grimalkin (:usertsakali:), who died ten years ago, and who I still miss every day.
But life goes on, whether one wants it to or not, like an eternal avalanche that can be ridden but neither controlled nor stopped, and I find myself with new adventures, new places to explore, and old things to revisit.
I now work as an airline pilot, and have been for three years. Before that, I was a bush pilot in Alaska for two years, after a long career in tech. I have published two books, a novel and a novella, which have received modestly good reviews, and words from many readers eager for more.

I have new, amazing people in my life, and some who are on their way out of it.
I'm still attempting to make music, but it still goes relatively poorly.
In short, life rolls forward.
Ever in love,
On wings of black,
-Kysh
