If this is any indication, then Zootopia should be a big hit. I was at the mall today and saw a listing for Zootopia showing TODAY, not tommorrow like it's listed as opening on, so I went to see if I could get tickets.... I found out that not only can't I get tickets for today, it's sold out for the next 7 days! To put it in perspective, I got tickets for Star Wars 7 on opening weekend DURING the opening weekend...so star wars didn't sell out here for any day, but Zootopia is sold out for a week. I would not have predicted this....

My friends bought the tickets for the 3-D version and that has no captions, so since I'm mostly deaf, I have no idea what the FUCK was going on for most of the movie.

I was reading a journal about an orgy pic someone was doing and they put this in their write-up about it "no i wont steal your money ". Ummmm...do some thieves actually admit to planning to run off with your money? I think you'd have to be a pretty bad thief to go running around goin "Imma steal yo money be-otch! BOOYAH!"

The problem with knowing only a few furs is that it can be so hard to do alot of commissions at once...and by that I mean you run out of characters you can borrow for pics.

The furry mind is a dirty thing.... I was watching the Mythbusters star was special tonight and when they went for a commercial break they did one of their little "Coming up next" teasers to keep the viewer watching the show. This time it was leading into the myth about stuffing Luke into the Tauntaun on Hoth to keep him warm while Han built a shelter. The thing was a "POV" shot from where the Tauntaun's head was but they had the Tauntaun laying on the ground on it's back with it's legs sticking up in the air and Adam Savage popped up from the slice in the stomach for the myth. The angle of the shot combined with my dirty furry mind tricked me into seeing it as Adam popping his head up from between the Tauntaun's legs (which took me a second to realize it was my eyes/mind playing tricks on me). To make things wore after he'd finished his "After the break" speech he popped his head back down and the folks doing the show did a sound effect of a Tauntaun groaning/moaning/mooing/whatever. Needless to say, I found the whole thing amusing. Did anyone else watch the show? And did anyone else's mind run off the rails like mine?

...So, I was jus watching "World's Dumbest" (partiers 11, I think) today and there was a clip on it involving a celibration in Russia about the end of WWII, in a city I've already forgotten the name of (though they said it's the third largest city and I remember that it was something like "N.....-N....."). Anyhow, this drunk guy climbed a big statue that was about the WWII victory (of course he ended up falling off) but as I watched it I suddenly noticed that what I thought was one of the horses back legs was actually the horse's...hard-on!? I'm a little confused here...anyone out there know if I saw that right? And why in the world are there public, celibratory statues out there with a horse's wang jutting out at full mast?

I try to be calm, try never to say anything against anyone or to stir things up, but in this case I'm just kinda left feeling a need to put what has happened with a recent "Your Character Here" auction I won in a journal.

Here's the note I sent them about Stick's look and what ref pics to use:

I'm a little slow today and took a little to remember I need to send you info about my character Stick for your picture. The 4-point and 8-point stars are specifically placed so here's the list of the stars that will fully or partially in the picture you did:

4-point star locations.

-on his back right where his tail meets his back. (this is larger then the others...Stick would be 5"10" if he was real and this star would be 3 inches compared to the 1.5 inches of the others)

8-point star locations

-on right side of his neck, towards the back, about a half inch under his jaw.
-two are on the tail, close together (purhaps like , ' to each other) and about 3/4's of the way to the tip.
-three more sit like ' , ' on his waist, kinda like orion's belt, with the middle one low enough to sit just above the tip of his sheath. (the rightmost one of these three will show)
-two are one above the other on the frontside of his right leg and just below knee level. (these two might partly show)

Most artists place additional 4-point and 8-point stars on him, and that's fine as long as there aren't ALOT of them added.

Also I've done a cheap little "I would like changed to" of the picture to show basically the changes to the tail and penis, plus adding his collar and tailring that I'd like done for my character (the rest of the character will do just fine since my character is a fox). Do you have an e-mail address I can send the pic to? I also drew in the basic position for the stars I outlined above.

Let me know if I forgot anything.

The picture I got was of a rather dark blue fox with like...a million tiny 4-point and dot stars that has no collar and no tailring like my character should. It's not a bad picture, but it looks rather not like my character. Is my note in some way unclear about how my character looks?

I ask this cause I kinda feel like purhaps the artist INTENTIONALLY IGNORED my ref pics and notes about the collar and tailring. The artist had felt offended about the fact that I did some work on the existing rough sketch to try to show what I was saying rather then relying on words and risk a disasterous end result like what I got. And no, I've not tried asking the artist to re-color the pic, they'd have to recolor Stick completely to fix the problem...and by the words they used in our communication and in the issue of me doing an edit to the sketch to try to help them understand me, I think they'd just say they don't do edits so tough titty said the kitty.

So...what do you all think, does this sound like I got purposely screwed or am I just being overly sensitive about it all?

Had an interesting day today, while at a family gathering at my sister's place, a deer came out of the woods behind the house and started munching on some of the plants in their yard. Granted that's sorta cool, but what makes it really cool was that another came out too...and then another...and another...and another. 8 deer came out and were just casually feeding while all of us were watching from the big picture window about 15 - 20 feet from them. It was interesting to watch.
