I have to write this on mobile on my data bc we went to a place in the middle of nowhere Indiana for a small vacation 💦 I just wanted to make a small post saying that I've been working off and on on everyone's commissions/YCHs (I fell into a depression slump that didn't allow anything but bed rest and then this vacation which helped a little.) I'll be sending emails of the finished files to a couple of people, give progress wips in notes tonight and finish sketches for confirmation tonight/tomorrow. I apologize so hard for taking long but am very thankful for your patience! ; v;

I've been unemployed since March but today that has changed! ; w; I finally got a part time job and y'know it's not that impressive but I'm so much happier with a kinda steady income <3

He was the first friend I made on here and everytime I see a journal post by him lately I get so sad bc I've been wanting to help him out for months. His art is so beautiful and he himself is so fun to talk to; we hit it off instantly in just a day. Sadly I havent been able to talk much due to my own insecurities (I get socially exhausted super easily and skype is always messed up for me ;;) but I know he's one of those friends you can just talk to no matter how long it's been.

Anyways!! He's hungry. And barely affording to get by on his own from a lot of bills and rent problems and jc do I feel that pain. Since I posted the earlier journal at a really early time this morning, I'll update everyone on the situation because we found out something worse:

Long story short; some asswipe stole my girlfriend's exhaust system on her car last night. It is still driveable but it won't accelerate past 25 MPH and it's reeeeally loud and reeks of gas. It's scary. We thought they just stole one part of the car but somehow this fuck stole the whooooole damn thing so what was once $400 is now $900...we have no idea if her insurance can cover this. We won't know until Monday and even if they can cover it, they won't cover it all most likely...luckily we got a discount from a friend that works where we went to get it checked, it was gonna be about $1500. After that he and our friend/his fiance took us out to eat with her grandma where we got a free meal so that was really sweet and made me feel better.

SooooooOOOO. My point is that my commissions are open open open. Emergency to the most extreme since the time my cat got sick earlier this year tbh. So basically, instead of spending money on commissions and then doing a bunch of personal work and art trades, something happened last night that fucked me and my gf over.

Someone stole the catalytic converter from her car, just fucking cut it in the middle of the night. It's estimate is $403 and rent is due extremely soon, so I won't have any money to help with it. But the sooner we can get money the better... So I'm gonna open emergency commissions right now. Please please please consider...or maybe shout out that I need some help. Me and  fennecmo Would very much appreciate it 💕

I also just wanted to say thank you guys so much. The past few days I've been feeling kinda shitty about my art and I felt like I wasn't much of an inspiration to anyone or that my art wasn't on a high enough scale to be seen as 'great' (partially bc my school's got some pretentious artists I see on FB that like to shit on types of art ;;) BUT!! It ends on a positive note: you guys are so sweet and you've been so kind to me since I became active on here. I've gotten great feedback and interest in my art and everytime someone says my style is sexy or cute I totally get flustered and happy.

In all honesty, I love making art for people and if I didn't have to depend on it as a current full time job, I'd be doing a lot more art trades and freebies. I don't charge much yet bc I hate charging for my art and everytime I draw something for someone I learn something new or improve even if just a little.
