Tablets?
Posted 14 years agoSo I use an Intuos 3, 6 x 8. It's worked fine (other than the occasional uninstalling itself, lol) and I don't see any signs of it crapping out on me any time soon. < Hopefully.
I was thinking of getting the Intuos 4, Large but to be honest it just doesn't appeal to me. Especially if my tablet works fine. The thing is I've had my eye on a Cintiq since forever, and now that I have the capability to save up for one I'm kind of debating on it.
Here's my question(s). (You don't need to own a Cintiq to answer, but if you do then I'd LOVE your input. XD)
In the small size, 12WX which has a 10 x 6 drawing area, would you say that it would increase productivity from my Intuos?
I love the idea of 'drawing on screen' and Wacom is the only tablet brand I've used. Does anyone own a different type of these tablets?
Sorry for all the questions. lol. I don't know anyone who owns a Cintiq, or anywhere where I could test one out.

ARGH DIE TABLET
Posted 14 years agoUGH UGH. I've been a slave to my job (not commissions) and it sucks.
ANYWAY. my stupid freaking tablet. every once in awhile it decides to UNINSTALL itself from my computer, and i have to go about reinstalling drivers and redoing all of my custom settings etc. does anyone else have this problem?
i use a wacom intuos 3 6x8 and i'm running vista home premium, SP2. (don't hate on vista, i haven't had any problems with it, unless it's causing this than it can die in a fire)
i can tell sometimes when it's going to uninstall itself because the pressure dies and i'll restart my computer to see if it fixes it, and then BOOM. no tablet found. also in PS4 the pressure has been going in and out, at random. ANNOYING. :C
i'm either thinking of buying a new tablet (intuos 4?) or upgrading to 7, but i have no clue if either one will fix my problem. so yeah. :I
any ideas would be awesome.

Recovering =)
Posted 14 years agoI made it out of surgery just fine. So far I can't walk without help, but tomorrow I get my bandages off and well see how that goes lol. I really appreciate everyones comments, I was so nervous I didn't sleep the night before and they had to give me some kind of 'calm down' drug in the preop room. (yeah I'm a chicken shit)
I should be able to sit at the computer some time this week. I know I have notes piled up, and probably a ton of SL mods clogged up. Wish i had a laptop for times like this xD
So yeah, thanks a bunch for being so patient. Ill update again when I'm doing better ^^

Surgery x(
Posted 14 years agoYeah, well the doctors finally figured out what was wrong with my knees after 7 years of pain. I have torn maniscus in both my knees, in the same place oddly enough. I'm scheduled for surgery tomorrow, where they will trim down the tears.. Hopefully taking the pain away lol.
Needless to say, I am freaking nervous. Recovery time is minimal though; they claim that I will be walking within 48 hours, comfortably. Anyway, posting from my phone (which has proved to be a huge pain in the ass) because I can't sit at my computer without my knees bugging me.
So yeah, no worries commissioners. I should be good as new and ready to work again. XD wish me luck!

update & some questions about SL
Posted 15 years agoso i wanted to be started and almost finished with my second round of commissions by now but we just found out that we have to tear down the kitchen thanks to the leaking shower upstairs. lol fu house. half of my days are pretty much eaten up (having to shower elsewhere, and then remodding the kitchen and removing the mold. eww)
aside from my house boning me royally, lol. SL has been doing some funky things i'm hoping some of you pro's might be able to help or whatnot. i've noticed that sometimes when phoenix viewer fucks up or has some kind of media problem, it really screws with my internet. such as i can open the internet, but i can't click on anything (it won't go anywhere, but google will load). or a page will load but every picture will be a box with an x. needless to say i've stopped using that viewer, but i'm wondering if it's a common problem? lol
ALSO! i'm looking for a big sandbox that allows adult stuff >_< the only ones i've found i think you have to be a member or something?
thanks in advance for any questions answered. XD i think after my commission batches are done i'm going to try doing some SL portraits or waist up commissions. probably icons too :D

Posted 15 years agoso it's been awhile since i've even touched the game but i had a random.. inspiration to log in after so many months. lol
the problem is my avatar won't res (and i've tried everything), and customer support doesn't feel like helping me. XD
i'm just a puff of smoke and that's really no fun!
anyone have any clue as to what i can do to fix this?

FAQ
Posted 15 years agoAre you open?!
Occasionally! Hit me up with the idea you're looking for, instead of just a note saying "Hey are you open?"
How much do your commissions cost/What are your prices?
I don't have a price sheet! But I will give you a quote on your idea.
Asking for a quote when I'm closed (or open) is okay, but just asking "What are your prices?" and expecting me to reply back with a menu will result in me not answering your note, lol.
Do you offer sketch commissions or anything else cheaper like that?
Not at the moment. I don't offer icons, sketch commissions, or flat colored sketches on a regular basis.
The only time I'd ever offer any of the above is in a journal, so you'd just have to keep an eye out.
Why don't you offer 2 character commissions often?
They take me WAY longer to do than if I were to do a bunch of single character commissions.
Can I commission you if I don't have a reference sheet/and or pictures of my fursona/character?
80% of the time, NO! These types of commissions usually end up being way to time consuming for me, to either have to guess or (OH GOD) rework your design 10 times over because it's not perfect.
I don't like messing up/botching your characters, and I completely understand that not everyone has money for reference sheets/etc. But please, please do understand!
Will you draw gay/lesbian/herm porn?
Yes. That is not an issue to me.
Can I commission my character sexing Rey?
No. Rey is closed to random people who I do not know on a personal level for sexual commissions.
Hey Satsukii, what's up?
I really don't want to be rude. D: But I don't respond to these notes. They end up cluttering my inbox and I just don't like idle chitchat with people I don't know very well.
Can I have you MSN/AIM/Skype..etc?
Nope! Sorry!
WHY ARE YOU IGNORING MY NOTES ARGH
You probably didn't read this or my TOS before noting me!

TOS/COMMISSION INFO
Posted 16 years agoUpdated a TOS because I'm really tired of people not getting it. @m@
PAYMENT:
- PayPal is my payment meathod of choice.
- I require payment upfront and in full before I start a commission.
- Often if it's a large amount ($200+) I will accept half before and half after linework is done.
PRICES:
- I don't have "base" prices. Just like each of your characters is unique, so is the price.
- I will occasionally open commissions for a fixed price in a journal.
WHAT I WILL/WON'T DRAW:
- NO Rape, Scat/Watersports, Cub, Hyper, Inflation, Egg Laying, Pregnancy, Diaper.
- Somewhat chubby is ok, but morbidly obese I will not draw.
- I will draw soft vore. (showing no one getting digested or chewed)
- I prefer drawing single character images over multiple ones.
- My personal character(s) are off limits to the general public. (Close friends and trusted commissioners are welcome.)
- I really dislike detailed backgrounds. They usually cost extra.
REVISIONS:
- I will show you a sketch before I start to ink it.
- I will only revise once after showing you the sketch.
- I will only revise once after coloring your commission. (This can be a minor revision only, and nothing to do with reworking the linework.)
- I will not rework a wing-it commission, or show you a wip before it's done.
TIME:
- I don't have a set time on how long it will take me to do your commission. Just know that I always finish my commissions. If for some reason it's taking me an ungodly amount of time to get it done, I will compensate with extra detail and or something extra at my descretion.
YOUR CHARACTER:
- I love when I get full reference sheets.
- I will usually ignore any "wall of text" commission descriptions.
- Providing me with pictures of the pose you want is fine, just don't expect me to trace over it.
AAAAND:
- You get the fullres picture. (Size depends, but is usually around 1600x1600 to 2000x2000.)
- I have the right to post or not post it, unless we have discussed otherwise.
- You have the right to post it in your gallery or wherever you see fit as long as my watermark is not removed. (Cropping icons is fine, too!)
- I don't work in the order my commission list goes. So no butthurt if your's wasn't finished before theirs.
- PSD's are not distributed.
