General | Posted 10 years agoDoes anyone out there design and build games? What engines do you use? What coding language? Think you can give me any pointers or tips on how to do that? I love game design and coding but I don;t think I have enough information to create something bigger than a small flash game.
I'd prefer any help be with unity and C#, but I do want to learn other systems as well! Comment/note me?
On the other hand, I think I'll start posting again... It's been a long time. I've mainly been working on a long story, more of a book now really. I might post it, I dunno.

General | Posted 10 years agoAfter a good break, i'll be working on more art and writing. Even some games! I just got an art tablet, so i can finally do some digital art. Excited to post more in the future!

Just black fur. I could grow out the fur on my head but I never saw the point.

I do, a mom and dad who have no idea what I do.

I have a familiar, although I can never get him to show up when I need him. And when I do I generally end up injured anyway.

People who abuse others for no reason.
11. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?
I love playing cards and gambling, although usually people get mad when I win all their money.

I have, multiple people. Although most were trying to kill me at the time.

I'm a cat.

I have a terrible habit of leaping before I look, it's landed me in some terrible situations. I also have a bit of a temper when it comes to certain people.

I do, I look up to my friends. Some are stronger than me, others smarter, and some kinder. Yet they still put up with me when I mess up everything.

I'm gay.

I went to school at one point, never finished high school.

Marry, yes. Kids? I'm gay, although I would possibly adopt.

no? Unless they are creepy stalkers who I don't know of.

Failing my friends.

Usually I wear a pair of jeans, a white tee shirt and a black jacket over it. My favorite jacket has a picture of cards on the back.

Well I don't really have a job, or a house. So low? I'm a wanderer.

I didn't have many, but recently I've made a lot of amazing friends. I couldn't be happier with them.

Blueberry or no.

I enjoy Sake, although it is not common in the places I go to.

I have this one tree I can be found at whenever I'm not traveling. It's a tall oak in the middle of a forest located next to my town. I sleep there most of the time, it's the closest thing I have to a house.

I am, but I'm not saying who.
30. Would you rather swim in a lake or the ocean?
*shudders* Neither. I'd rather be in a boat if I had to be on water.

If you're kind and a half decent person I can like you, I'm not... exclusive to a type of person.

General | Posted 11 years agoI'm looking for Cameos to put in the new series I just started, 'The Dream'! So I decided to write a journal where people can just post a comment with the filled out template.
To have your Cameo entered to be used just post a comment here with the filled out template! If you have questions about it feel free to message me, note me, ask in a comment anything!

Species: *Anthro animals and humans are both fine. Creatures like dragons and other fantasy are fine too but some may need to be approved. No matter your species you will have no magical/supernatural abilities from species alone. This is to stick to the "Modern world" theme. This means dragons can't breath their element etc.*

Magical: yes/no *If no you can end template there.*

Familiar: Your familiar will be your partner in the Hidden World, and will have abilities of its own based on your power and the species. They live inside your weapon when not summoned, and can not die permanently without certain rituals or artifacts. Make sure to pick a familiar you like, because you may be reading a lot about it! Familiars can include anything that isn't from a game. Cat siths, Mythological creatures, or normal animals are all fine. If you want to use something strange or very unusual go ahead and post it, if it isn't ok I'll let you know.
Weapon: The weapon you gain magically from unlocking your powers. You will channel much of your magic through this and your familiar will live inside of it as well. You CAN have your character use a different weapon mainly but you must still carry the magic weapon, otherwise you lose your familiar. Unique weapons are fine, just make sure to describe them, as well as any properties you want it to have in particular.
Power: This is important, the type of power your character will possess in the hidden world. Most characters will only have one general power with the exception of a few. Which means please put a general types such as "Fire magic" or "Healing abilities". If you have something specific in mind put a description. Such as "My character has the specific ability to release energy blasts from any point on his body. He can vary the strength of the blasts etc etc etc"
Faction: Choose a faction from this list!
The Hunters: Hunters of all things THEY consider evil. Working on their own they decide what is evil and hunt it till the end, which isn't always ok with the other Factions. Skilled fighters they have their own sense of justice and insane amounts of determination.
The Chosen: Those who believe themselves the chosen champions of the hidden world, like a cult/religion. No non members know how or why people are chosen but generally believe their “god” is a hoax. But tell one this and you are likely to get hit across the face in “retribution”.
The Guardians: A faction dedicated to protecting the real world. While all factions can do this, the Guardians are strictly focused around defense of mundanes (non magical beings). They train hard and are often found near civilizations of mundanes, living right under their noses unseen.
The Unseen Shadows: A guild of assassins and thieves that the other factions generally avoid, but none are against making deals with the guild. They accept jobs in return for favors or loot usually, but sometimes do a job if they just think it will benefit them in general. Not as evil as one might think, they just do what they think is right personally.
The Free: A guild of the guild-less. A contradiction yes but they aren't really a guild. The other guilds just consider them one because the guild-less work together in a tightly knit information web. What one Free knows most Free will know soon. They are the neutral group, as each one is a solo runner that is simply classified into a faction. They have no bonds to any faction besides those that they decide to have.

The Dream
General | Posted 11 years agoI had a very interesting dream the other night and it ended up becoming an inspiration for me. I decided, using the cast of characters from the dream and ones I will add myself, to write a story series based on it. I already have a full first draft written for the first chapter and will post the first section soon! But this is a journal for more then just an alert!
I'm looking for people to help me in the writing and for people to play Cameos!
If you want to help me with things like proof reading and editing, like a beta tester, send me a note! Only accepting a few people and first come first serve so answer fast if you want to help me.
The Cameo template and application will occur after I post the second part of the story, so people get an idea of how things work in the world before deciding if they want to try out.

Slowly improving
General | Posted 11 years agoWith each passing day things get a bit better. Recently I've been able to get online semi often, but my only connection usually is Skype. I am only allowed on for things my parents consider productive, but they won't always be able to watch me! I'll be posting art again soon, because despite their disgust I've been doing that as well.
Just to spite them as well I may take a few requests for a pic, pretty much saying I'm still connected to the community and you can't stop that. Of course they have no idea exactly WHAT I'm drawing but still. It's the principle! If you want to make a request post it in the comments, I may draw one. I may not, no promises. But you might as well suggest one if you want one!
I will be coming back step by step, and I WILL keep drawing art and contributing to the community. I must admit when FA was DDOS I panicked a bit seeing as I never got to continue posting as I wanted. I miss you all so much!

Update on life
General | Posted 11 years agoFor those I haven't talked to in a while, a short update on life. I have general access to fa again, not that my parents know that. I also have my 3ds again, because my parents are asses and took that too before. Now I have the new ssb and a few other games. I can chat through fa notes but you need to get lucky to hit me when I'm actually online. I have limited access to Skype at times, so watch for that too.

General | Posted 11 years agoWell it finally happened. My family learned that I'm a gay furry. There are are lot of lucky people out there who's parents could accept this...
I'm not one of them. They called me disgusting to my face, insulted me, and took away every connection I have to the internet. As it can be seen just from this journal existing I'm not giving up. I'll be back one day and they can't stop me. I'll miss everyone until then but there is one slight bright side. Every weekday (monday-friday) I'll be able to chat in certain places around 9:30 EST. The only one I know off hand that I can access then is a livestream room someone has. https://www.Livestream.com/dreikeratwork I should be there most of the time but I may get a new place to chat once I can talk it out with people.

Issues, freaking everywhere.
General | Posted 11 years agoSo recently, I've gotten into some issues at home. As most of my close friends know I live with my family still, working on moving out when i can although there is little hope of that any time soon. This is to let everyone know I won't be able to be online for a very long time, maybe indefinitely as it is. The most i will be here is some sparing minutes here and there, and even when i do get those i dont often have access to skype.
I've been becoming more and more active in my local dojo as I get more serious about my practices and team (Demo team, performances and tournaments and such) and I've been doing a lot more work around the house too. My parents are getting older, and I'm needed more and more to help out. My brother is useless, even 4 years older than me I'm twice as responsible as him. While I'm doing yard work for my 50+ year old parents he's out at his friends house. My dad is never home either, he has to work in the other half of the state, making it hard on my mother as well.
I wish i could be on everyday like i used to, it seems so long ago I was able to be on with my friends so often and have so much fun. I miss you guys so much, and i can't wait until i can see you all again. Again, when that may be I have no idea, there is no date in sight as of yet... Don't feel bad though, I'll remember you all and I WILL BE BACK!

Future plans
General | Posted 11 years agoI have decided to put all requests and for-fun drawings on pause for now. This is so i can develop my own characters and their worlds, i have it all in my head but i need to draw them up and create them. Sorry for those i was making something for but this has been nagging me for too long without enough progress. If for any reason you want to be part of the universe im making send me a note or message me on skype and i'll see what i can do.
