Started a new job this week! YAY!
In terms of commissions, this means my new work schedule is all over the place now! :') due to still getting adjusted to the new schedule. I'll have to close off my remaining Sp. Commissions slots and just continue taking regular commissions from now on.

Hello Guys! I hope you guys are all doing well during these times!
It has been a while since my last journal but just wanted to let you guys know that I'm doing alright even if I haven't posted any art lately ^^

What I've been up to?
Well, I've been pretty much stuck in my head on things to work on aside from doing more commissions, I have a few auction ideas to start and get you guys interested plus some personal projects that I've been waiting for my head to let me just work xD

Why the weird journal title?
Well, this is about something I've noticed that I can't do much anymore. As much as I love meeting new people and chatting with them ( even though 90% of the time I've got nothing to say XD ) I just don't have the mental energy to keep constant conversations on online chats ;_; It has gotten so bad that even with my close friends I don't chat with them often through social media. At the end of the day I just throw my phone across the room and just watch youtube and or play video games and nothing else. This is not the same case when it's in person I love meeting people thought! I'm shy as shit but once I know you we can go everywhere haha. but anyway just putting the info out just in case you send me a message and I don't respond ^^;;;;; unless is commission related cus that's just work >:U!

Just please be patient with me ;_; I do read messaged but I often just don't have the energy to reply. ;_;

Anyway, this was just an update to say that I'm alive XD

After some thoughts, I've decided that I will be bringing back special commissions!

YES! they will be kept under the range of 5$ - 20$(new)

HOWEVER here are the rules.

-The slots will be super limited. To not affect the flow of my regular commissions, I've decided to make this option very limited.

-The style will NOT be always the same. An announcement will be made every time I'm open for this type of commissions showing what I'll be offering.

- NO PREVIEWS, NO WIPs FOR THIS TYPE OF COMMISSIONS!. This type of commissions are already for a super low price and I can't spend so much time on for the sake of my sanity.

Currently, I'm not open for special commission but this is the plan when I make the announcement of what I'll be offering. :)

Any suggestions will appreciate it.

So here's a small update I've been wanting to share with you guys, is just in regards to my art schedule and my availability online( just too keep stuff a bit more organized and transparent in my career haha.)

Since I basically do two jobs to survive in the city and take care of my grandparents
( which are Part-time freelance artist at home and Part-time assistant manager of a restaurant)
I wanted to share my schedule to current and future commissioners to show the days I'm working on art and when not.

Mon: (Art) 9am-5pm
Tues: (Art) 9am- 5pm
Wend (Art) 9am- 5pm
Thurs: (Art) 10am- 3pm (Manager) 4pm-11pm
Friday: (Manager) 12pm-10pm
Sat: (Manager) 12pm- 10pm
Sunda: (Manaager) 12pm- 10pm

It looks super full but it is what it is XD. and no Don't freak out I do take enough rest when needed :D

As much as I haven’t upload much of my work here I’ve been pretty busy on the side. Here are a few things that are currently happening in my life:

Part time and Volunteer concept artist: I’m one of the concept artist in this growing developing team called Chaotic Formula :). The founder is a great friend and has helped me develop my work these past few months and has opened up new opportunities to being more present in the indie game industry in NYC. :D I also help with art projects other game developing teams in the area that are part of this game collective in NYC :) I will be uploading some of the work I’ve done for them once I'm allowed to post stuff :D

Part time Restaurant Hostess Welp being an artist is still not fully paying off the bills so I’m working as a hostess for a restaurant. The best thing about this job is that I’m also working on a mural in the restaurant and I’m also working on a few t-shirts design to sell on their website! :D ! Everybody is super cool and I enjoy it a lot.
These are the main things that are currently happening :D I have also set up a new goal to develop new skills to get more job opportunities in the future, such as learning Adobe illustrator and Blender.

Hi everyone! :)

I hope you are all doing good. Just wanted to update my journal since I've been a gosht for a few months.

As my college graduation is approaching I've been focusing on organizing my portfolio to get a position at a company as a visual artist or designer. However, I've been feeling that all my years in college haven't fully shaped my art style, making me feel not so confident with my work to start applying for these dreamed positions. Therefore, I've decided to take this upcoming summer as a time of practice and exploration in order to complete my portfolio on the subject matter I'm more interested in, storyboarding and character design.

As I look at my work now, I noticed the lack of examples that I could present to art directors to be part of their working team. As a result of this decision, I will change the type of work I offer as commissions in order to develop my skills. I will also be using a style that may contrast with my previous pieces. As I seem to show more defined and precise linework with my current commissioned work, I tent to enjoy working painterly and loosely ( I consider it bold, messy and expontaneous ) kinda like this (https://www.furaffinity.net/full/18887497/ ) I'm aware is a bit of a big jump but I want to give it a shot.

I will open commissions with this style after May 20th. Meanwhile, I'll be working on examples to present to you guys at that date.

The semester is over so I finally have some time to relax. However, since I'm in my last year of college I'm intensely working on my thesis project. Don't worry I'll be sharing my thesis with you guys since is furry related haha.
