Hey everyone, I want to bring attention to a commission issue my friend has been dealing with regarding a certain neon kween.

The Issue:
- My friend commissioned this artist and was told it would take a week at most.

- It’s been a month now, and they have been ignored and ghosted repeatedly.

- When they do get a response, it’s usually excuses like "Discord issues" or "I'm working on it," followed by more silence for days.

- Meanwhile, the artist is actively posting other commissions, proving they are working on new pieces but still ignoring my friend.

The Problem:
- Since my friend used PayPal’s Friends & Family option, they can’t request a refund—a mistake to learn from!

This type of behavior damages trust in the art community and makes it harder for honest artists to get commissions.

Stay Safe & Protect Yourself:
✅ Always use "Goods & Services" when paying via PayPal so you can dispute issues.
✅ Set clear deadlines and ask for updates if delays happens.
✅ Be wary of ghosting—if an artist keeps avoiding updates but takes other commissions, that’s a red flag.
✅ Spread awareness so others don’t fall into the same situation.

Commissioning artists should be a fun and fair experience for everyone. Unfortunately, some people take advantage of trust, and it’s important to hold them accountable.

Opening Commissions for 10 slots this time

The prices are as follow:
Base Prices
Sketches: 50$
Colored: 80$
Shaded: 100$

Variations
Heads or Icons are just 25% of the base price
Bust and Middle Bodies are 50% of the base price
full body is 100% of base price

Backgrounds will go from +25% to +80% of the base price depending on complexity

Every extra character is +50% and any alts, zooms or panels are +25% of the base price

Will NOT DRAW
Scat, CP, Diaper, Hyper, Inflation (cumflation is okey), real life ferals (mythicals are find), Necro, and anything else I deem NO

My list got to long and I'm taking too long too fulfill them, with uni, internship and irl life getting in the way I can't in good conscious pile on more stuff to do which I don't have time for.
will reopen once I finish what I have but for now they are closed

So after a few very very questionable commissions which took a bit of a tool on me mentally, I'm gonna start adding a "I ain't paid enough for this" fee, basically

if a piece of work is scraping the boundaries of what I deem no while not breaking my rules I will add a 15% to the final price, this will be going forward for any new commissions and will be added to the commission info page.

just to be clear, this isn't a "this isn't my kink so I'm charging extra" this is more of "if you gonna play fast and lose with me I want more money" fee
a made up example of this would be "she ain't a cub she's 1k years old and she doesn't wear diapers it's just there fashion in my world" it's technically following the rules but barely


so yeah going forward I will tell you if what you're doing is in my rules or if I'll charge you extra or I will just flat out say NO

So I'm closing request going forward, thanks to all who made request since I started, hope you all enjoyed them, I might do it again another time but for now I'm going on other things

So I'm writing this to let you all know I'll be taking a break on commissions starting the 15th of December, if you have a commission with me at that time I shall freeze it and will resume it at the 5th of January when I open commissions back up.
The only exceptions are the Patreon queen tier free commission.

So I'll be closing commission until the 21st since I got exams and I will not be posting or anything for the time being
I will be continuing the daily warm-ups and accepting requests, but finished pieces will be pushed until the end of the 21st

a) Will never color, ink, or give more than 30 min of my time to the request I.E will be a warm-up nothing more or less.

b) Will appear in the series of weekly warm-ups with all the others every Friday, on my twitter handle ScalesInDark the day I finish it; it will also be left to my discretion how it will look (no follow-ups nothing and you will not get the file or anything other than a spot in this series).

c) I might not do it since I will only do request if they tickle my fancy or have something I can practice (but I ain't a dick so be nice and I will probably do it).

d) Do not ask if I have done it or when will I do it, ask me and I will not do it period, also be especially insistent and you will be ignored for any future request and worst-case blocked (again just be nice).

e) I decide when I stop this, I can stop it today I might stop it in 100 years who knows?, Its a mystery only I know
