doing my first coloring stream in who knows how fucking long, will be skyping with Exvell for the prime duration of the stream. Ps I have made my new account but since it is emptier than the shelves of the electronic section at walmart after black friday I wont be leaving any links. Please join I hope to have lots of fun doing this after not having done any color streams since the dark ages. Been awhile hasn't it? Well breaking my silence here on FA to bring a couple of updates, first in a new relationship with / so yeah I am very elated about that. I have been doing some writing and detail work on my four Verses, Balance is the one most people (if any) are aquainted to its the one with soulroids omnidimmensions a realital balance etc. my others are Dellmonth, a dark gothic world of magic corrupt church and monsters many monsters, Almuria or my steampunk verse, a steampunk world with a peculiar and complicated caste system, and my latest up and coming work Wastes a western verse that will receive details eventually. Each have (or will have) detailed lores characters and much more, the 2 most complete ones at the moment are Balance and Dellmonth.

In other news I hope to eventually do something new, VERY new even for me, exploring designs and creations for the whole sake of sexual interest. Partially because I admire the creativity of individuals like and have always wanted to try my hand at it, but all prior attempts have failed, however I hope to change this (maybe even get good enough to do project collabs with people like endium) but for now that is a dream

In final news I might be planing an account change. Why? Because this one doesnt fit anymore, Morvik isn't and never was an actual fursona he is a very key character in the balance verse and is the protagonist of is own story that takes place in that verse, while certain aspects of him represent certain aspects of me (just blown way out of proportion) he is more of a tragic/epic hero that sadly this account isnt doing justice just as it no longer really represents me Melos. So look forward to an account change, it will be a bit of a gradual change until I get comfortable and well suited in it and I plan to make it more organized.

By the way, does anyone know any artists willing to do conceptual collaborations, I like doing projects with other individuals and would like to see what me and another person could create.

Halloween is my favorite day of the year, and every year I have wanted to do something special for it, however until now I have had no clue what to do. I have come up with the idea of a group RP/story that will be done on skype, details of the rp/game wont be given until the actual event and only given to participants. Since this was a last minute idea AND my first time trying this it wont be exactly perfect first time however I really want to give this a try and want all your opinions on it. If your interested in taking part in this "digital haunted house" and have my skype send me an IM if your interested and dont have my skype send me a contact request on skype, look for either Melos Mevim or morvik-the-soulroid

(In the mind of melos, is something I do on occasion where I rant, talk or simply inform on stuff)

I have noticed these group of shark elitists that go with this "realistic" shark design and will put down the normally seen muzzled design(often with fin ears) they also often say this commonly seen design is a disgrace to sharks and a plain old insult. I have seen this elitist behavior enough times that I have felt the need to speak up about it for some time. Starting from a realism standpoint, in an anthro the more commonly seen shark with muzzle and fin ears actually is more logical at an evolutionary standpoint, reason being is if sharks somehow some way did evolve into a land animal it would develop the need for better auditory senses as well as a neck and the need for communication. Sound travels at a slower rate through air then it does in water, hence why the concept of ears forming from fins would be needed on a land shark and not a real shark, it would need the ability to detect sound as that is often in cases a more important sense than smell for land based animals. The reason for the muzzle like shape forming is for the ability to add a neck, more jaw movement, and more expressive capability even possibly the ability to produce sound. All these are not needed in water but sorely needed on land, if you look most vertebrates have these traits of a jaw separate from the bulk of the body solely connected to head allowing room for a neck.

So standing from an evolutionary standpoint a land shark or anthro shark would have to develop these non shark traits to survive.

On another perspective of freedom of expression, you see people breaking the rules of mother nature all the time with their sonas, for example most of my reptilian characters are digigrade and padded, you see people with raptor characters yet no famous raptor claw, or snakes with limbs, wolves of unnatural colors etc. Hole point is a freedom of expression found within all of us to tweak the norm making something we all like for ourselves. Seriously think about it, if we all only did realistic sonas we would have thousands of characters looking exactly alike with no artistic challenge to them no reason to admire them or feel proud of them. This unusual unnatural series of traits we do allow us to show off what we can do creatively and allow for growth beyond a box the same box many of us became furries to escape.

on another note imagen how many character theft claims there would be if we all had similar looking realistic characters, huh? So many the fandom would collapse in on itself.

Point being species realists and elitists are counter productive for an artistic and creative movement.

Feels like forever since the last serious journal I have done, anyways some of you may have noticed some changes on my profile or with me myself, if not many of you might end up noticing some changes.
I am more energetic, optimistic, creative, enthusiastic and welcoming. I have also stopped hiding my favorites (which have been concealed for I don't know how long). I am now able to show more of who I am and what I can do having no longer being forced to hide, my occasional submissive nature, my violent bloody side (I like horror and such but dont get to show it off much) I can be as complementary as I wish and can openly show the affection I have had to hide for so long. I can get back to making real characters that matter.

Now what has brought on this change, this enlightenment if you will? Well that in turn can be found in another recent change. I recently was "dumped" by my ex-mate (name will not be given as I do not wish to cause drama) and while at first I was hurt and broken about it, I sat back and realized how unfair the relationship was. I was oppressed forced to hide much of who I am and what I am, I was nothing but a sexual realize and a source for goods to my former "lover", I was unable to do any of the things I wished to do. All the freedoms I allowed them I was denied, trapped in a box made of my guilt, their jealousy and cloud that kept me from seeing a way out, I remained contained from those I care about and from myself. They made it clear that my emotions were not of importance, they made it clear they saw me as talentless and uncreative (was told multiple times I was not a good writer), was told I had terrible characters, characters I would work months on some I had spent years on. They only cared about a character if it had the capabilities to please them sexually, resulting in several half assed rushed characters. And I was forced to show all the admiration and approval to them that i never received. Anything I made for them they never used, they never understood the amount of effort I would put in to things.

As for who I am, it became a blurry image, while I introduced them to polygamy, I myself was not aloud to practice it. Everything was a doubled standard, they could do something while I was unable to do it as well.
If I received adult related art it had to be with them and not with anyone else, if I did receive such art (even as a gift) I was blamed and had to put up with their abuse.

I will admit however that I did make a victim of them on occasion and I am not proud of that, I regret the harm I caused them and I do hope they will eventually move on from it. I ask that they do not make a scene and start a "war" between us and drag friends in to the mix. As for friends all I have to say is I hope everyone makes wise choices and do what they believe is right and not listen to anything either my ex-lover or I have to say about the other.

I wish only to move on from this ordeal and put it in the past. While there are some things I would wish to discuss with my former mate, I do not wish to push boundaries.

Since the break up I have been feeling better and better and I wish to continue this improvement and I hope they end up doing the same, life is about growth and learning so let us all learn from these mistakes.

just some news for those that do come to my streams, I do treat (or at least plan/attempt to treat) each of my streams as episodes of a series. And I have plans to do various things like full game walkthroughs/gameplays, another thing I might do is take short story requests/commissions (most likely request), I will have something on every stream called destroy the wall where I destroy a wall or 2 or maybe something else in minecaft with various methods and materials.
