I'm looking to work with an artist on a somewhat larger project than the usual single commission. It is for a Creative Commons licensed project that is completely free-to-use, I will not be earning any money from sales or otherwise.

The project would entail around 20-24 pieces of roughly colored sketchwork quality, combining humans, humanoid aliens, furry aliens, monstrous aliens, weapons, and armor. I'm setting a budget of around $1600 but this is negotiable. Preferred style for this would fall somewhere between semi-realistic and anime.

I occasionally post and retweet stuff there, mostly art and topics that strike my fancy.

For the greater part of my life, I've strayed away from labeling myself in terms of sexual and romantic preferences. This was mostly because I assumed things about my preferences, and since I love monologuing, I've written up a little journal to update people on who I am.

In real life, I very rarely find myself sexually attracted to anyone, and certainly have not gone out of my way to enter the dating pool in any capacity. For the last several years I perceived my asexuality as a side effect of heavy anti-depressant medication, but some self-reflection over the past few weeks made me realize that this has gone back as far as my early teenage years, a time where I was free of medical treatment. This is just who I am, and nothing has ever really changed that. When I do feel REAL sexual attraction, it's overwhelmingly toward women (hence me believing I was heterosexual my whole life), but it occurs so infrequently that I'm confident in stating I'm asexual.

I'll touch on my romantic preferences too:

Having spent a good deal of time in introspection, I'd be comfortable labeling myself demiromantic. To me, there's nothing about my preferences that would prevent me from feeling romantic toward anyone except only that I have a very strong connection to them. Alongside this, I'm firmly in the monogamous camp. I've had a lot of chances to be in casual or open relationships so far (sorry girl from Subway), but I'm definitely more interested in a long-term closed relationship if things line up.

So yeah. This is me, coming out as Ace. Come at me, world.

For a long while now there's been a heavy weight on my chest regarding my science fiction setting and the characters and designs within it. When I first set out and creating this project, I was only 14 years old. I dreamt of a realistic setting with cool aliens and a strong focus on characters.

Unfortunately while I've highly enjoyed my time with the furry community, it has come to my realization that I've fetishized my dreams. The art I get, while I always love it, isn't capturing the spirit of what I set out to do nearly a decade ago. So with that, I'm going to hit the reset button.

Nearly all of the art related to my science fiction setting that I've commissioned is no longer canon, and you'll see that many of my characters will undergo significant redesigns (as I already did with Tasina). From here on out, NSFW work with these characters will likely never happen outside of very unique circumstances.

My fantasy characters and general furry characters (like Scilyatraxa or Ahaneith) will be unaffected by this decision.

Today I'm 23, yay!


jk it's just another day now lol

I am currently working on a website (just an easy thing through Google Sites for now) for my science fiction universe. Slowly chipping away at it is probably a more apt description since my motivation and time are limited, lol. But it's a neat timekiller and something I can actually do.

I've moved most of my NSFW commissions into my scraps, and you'll see a definitely slow down in the amount of that type of art that I commission. For the foreseeable future, I will be focusing on making my ideas more "marketable" and more aligned with my original visions.

The current incarnation of my science fiction universe has... evaded my original visions and unfortunately I believe it's due to my reliance on "furry" characters as opposed to actual aliens. Due to this, I will be retiring several of my characters from the setting and moving them to a "general furry character" category. I've already started an extensive rewrite of the background to accommodate this. I'm not 100% on who will be cut and who will stay, but you can probably expect Dragana, Ank'ti and Lesharo to be retired. Additionally, due to my standards for alien life being changed: Tasina, Neera, Kira, and Twytch, will have either design changes (the original design will be intact, like color palette and species) or story changes.

I will, more likely than not, stop getting art of retired characters. I may give them away or sell them, depending on what I feel is best and the terms under which I originally adopted them. I'm aiming to have most of my characters be original creations from now on.

Hope everyone's been having a Merry Christmas and that it extends to a Happy New Year as well!

The past few weeks I've been in a pretty deep mood slump, often being highly disinterested in things and possessing a perpetual state of boredom. I've realized today however that I have a very cool group of friends here and they've made my Christmas season great, and make up for everything bad that's happened in 2016. It is my 22nd birthday today though, so there's that :P

I'll be actually spending the time to upload all of the art that I've commissioned for my science-fiction universe over time now, so expect that!

This will expand to cover future commissions as well.

As for commissions not related to my science fiction universe, such as with some other misc characters I have, I'll debate on that one for a bit more.
