Posted 10 years agoDon't want to sound like i'm ego fishing I am just curious xD What do you like about my art ( and/or dislike even?) and what do you think I could improve on? :P
Personally I would like to improve on stopping being a perfectionist along with getting into a routine and posting art on a regular basis instead of randomly here and there =w=

Posted 10 years agoA lot of people have asked for me to sell tee shirts with my designs on them! And I am honestly considering this now that I have the time.
However I have no idea how to go about this? Is there a decent tee shirt printing service in the UK? I have vaguely heard of ones like Spreadshirt and Shirtinator, but could do with some pointers
US based services would be appreciated too (although I would prefer UK) I have heard of Red Bubble. Society 6, Esty. Zazzle ect..may look into them

Why I havn't been very active + Plans

But this time not out of pure laziness.. Nope actually the last month I have been having my long dreaded but exciting university finals! Some of you may have seen a few comic pages I have uploaded recently and YES those are part of my FMP (Final major Project) for this year! However I have ceased to upload the full 12 pages for now as 1. I simply havn't had the time and 2. Despite making the deadline I am actually still tweaking them slightly in preparation for my classes illustration exhibition which will feature some of my best work from the last two years! ;P
Other than that I also had my girlfriend round to help me cool off from my deadline for two weeks =w=' <3 It was lovely but we ended up watching 3 and a half seasons of Game of Thrones instead of drawing which is totally fine by me x//D So yeah basically as soon as this exhibition is taken care of within the next week I will finally have some free time.. ;w; Free time to upload that comic, finally finish my upcoming "Militant Soundz" mix (Which I have been slowly working on for nearly a year now) as well as bringing you lot lots of new arts and farts!
For the select few people who have been waiting on commissions for months and months now I deeply apologize... (Despite your kind words, patience and understanding) I feel really bad because I simply cannot seem to multitask if my life depended on it... On that note though, that reminds me.. I MAY just have the courage to start doing NSFW art again.. BUT AT A PRICE. (Literally a price as I want to sell NSFW art in packs for monies so watch out for that! I know it's the only thing you care about you furverts! >:I)
That's that's my future plans anyway... For in reality "life" officially starts after uni and i'll have to start looking for the job / move out on my own and all this other scary ass bullshit ;___; I miss being a kid I really do :/

My first fur meet experience!

So as a few of you might know now I went to my first meet recently held by London Furs. It was advertised as a retro video game themed Christmas event and honestly just the thought of meeting people with similar interests to me and playing old games just seemed like a whole load of fun ;P
However the stigma of "furries" was still A thing that put me off until this night... I mean there is no doubt about it, I AM a furry. Whatever the definition is I draw anthro characters, usually in a rather suggestive and risque way.. So I guess I am a furry. And honestly, I don't care.
But the thing is.. certain things within this sub culture still made me feel a bit un easy.. Fursuiters in particular just made me think of the "stereotypes" and If you are an "anthro artist" you have more than likely come across some weird ass fetish shit whilst on the internet drawn or written by your fellow peers.. But now.. to be quite frank.. I don't give a flying donkey! (No offense to any donkey Dragon hybrid furs hurrderp) =w=
I knew to expect either two things.. Being surrounded by really awkward fursuiters whilst being an introverted looser or that I was going to have an fucking epic time. All I knew is that I had to go with an open mind and thankfully it was the latter!
The venue was a fancyish bar in Central London which was split into three separate bars.. Unfortunately the retro games were not set up legitimately with consoles and cartridges but rather on an emulator projecting onto a giant screen in a comfy bar room... But it was damn well good enough ;P Fellow geeks and nerds left, right and center (most of which not actually suiting) were chatting, showing art, Drinking and of course taking turns to fuck each other up in the butt on Street Fighter 2. My game was obviously Crash Team Racing though. A game which literally nobody beat me at hahaha (felt sorta bad actually..) And I also came third in a Sonic The Hedgehog 2 speed run challenge uwu wooo!
Outside in the cold most of the fursuiters were playing games and stuff like egg and spoon race, Ya know funny, tame, lame things and yeah.. Not gonna lie it was really fun to watch.. and It was rather interesting seeing everyone's different and unique costumes. It felt like it wasn't any different from cosplaying, except this time round it was more creative as people were dressing up as their own characters... Now I have never really been into the idea of my fursona and "i'm*insert animal here*" kind of thing. I am just really an artist, In fact I kind of felt a bit odd stating I was a rabbit when asked :/ but all in all If people want to transform themselves into who they want to be by getting into a costume.. I am FINE by that.
I dunno man! Being a bit tipsy and seeing a bunch of nerds (both in suits and not) dancing around to happy hardcore music having a good time is just one of the realist things I have seen in a long time.. I mean it might sound stupid to some.. But put into context.. These are people who would normally never do such a thing, Yet here they are going completely wild and loosing their inhibitions together. And to me that's something to smile about. Although I was out of there as soon as the really bad Dubstep music started playing =w=''
The highlight for me personally though was having someone come up to me and say "Since when did Scifijackrabbit start making tee shirts?" obviously with me sitting there in my custom tee shirt and well little did he know he was talking to yours truly xD He was honored to meet me! ;w; and yeah self esteem blew through the roof x//D not to mention all the nice comments I got on my little art portfolio I brang along with me :3
So yeah defo going to future meets! ;P Any furries (Or just regular geeks with an open mind) In London or UK you should really check it out! It's heaps of fun! :D I am actually looking to get more involved in the community now and maybe one day I can DJ for an event or hold my own art table or summin =3= It's a dream maaan!
Just keep an open mind!
