Decleration
General | Posted 18 years agoI'm so sick and fucking tired of trying to get people to like me. I try to bend over backwards backwards and get treated like an asshole from some prick who i don't even like in the first place, and i end up feeling like the bad guy well...fuck it. I'm not gonna try anymore.
If the cost of me being liked is my individuality as a person i would rather be hated by everyone than liked by one.
Peace.

an infamous walk through
General | Posted 18 years ago1. A brief moment of silence
Kayle: This may be the first song you hear when you
load up the CD but it was actually the last song finished
and it almost didn't make the cut. It originally started off
as a jam session that is a little lighter than what we
usually write and the more we played it the more it
stuck on us.
Manda: It was originally gonna be called "Unstable
groove" but that name is lame...then we thought about
calling it "Glass lighting" But it didn't fit the mood of the
song and I think it was the producer Dale that came up
with the name, and it stuck like glue seeing as how the
first seven songs are all based on World War II and
Hitler's persecution of the Jews.
Sirri: Yeah, just because the music doesn't have
Any word does not mean it doesn't tell a story.
2. A howl in the night (the wolves are out)
Sirri: Gah...this song...THIS SONG!!! ARGH!!
Xiavier: what my friend here is trying to say is that this
song was a complete and utter...pain to write...it took
all of a month the get everything down to an exact
science...
Sirri: yeah what he said. it came out great, and is one
of the few times on the album me and Xiav duel with the
exception of our machine head cover.
Manda: this is also one of the few times Xiavier solos
too, right?
Xiavier: Yep, that's true too.
3. Aesthetics of hate
Manda: Hey this is one of the cover songs that we did
for fun that turned out amazing, isn't it?
Diante’: Yeah but we had to put our own little spin on
it, cus I know Machine head don't have a keyboardist.
Sirri: there really isn't much to say about this song,
Besides the fact that I handle most of the solo.
Dale: yeah cus I dared you guys to do it, and you
did...well...so...there.
4. the truth is a liars alibi.
Manda: this just might be my favorite song off the
entire CD. I don't know what it is about it, but it just
does it for me.
Xiavier: yeah that may be true for me too, although I
am really happy that we decided not to put the duel
solo section in the song.
Sirri: yeah that was for the best, anyway what ever
happened to the version we had with the solos?
Kayle: I took it to the back and shot 'em executioner
style.
Diante: And I put it in the ground.
Sirri: Well damn...were they really that bad?
Diante: Yes...they made babies cry.
Xiavier: Cool.
5. a day that will live in infamy.
Sirri: This songs was actually a little difficult to
write, and even after a few tries and a couple failed
songs we just picked out a couple riffs from the failed
songs and they actually worked really well together.
Diante: The intro and pretty much main riff came from
a song we had named "lamb of god" after the metal
band, we were playing around with a couple parts that
sounded like them then Xiavier bursts out with the riff
from no where. We knew the song was dead but we
kept the riff.
Manda: and unlike the other songs I actually decided
to show off a little during the songs and you can hear
that after the first chorus where I do a simple little
tapping
fill, then I harmonize it twice, one third above and one
third below.
Xiavier: and it's the same with the chorus section, Sirri
is hitting some chords that you have to stretch to hit on
the D, A, and D strings and while he's doing that I
harmonize with the note on the high d string and play
a simple octave chord on the high D and the B strings
6. Tyrant Slaughter (faceless death)
Dale: Well I play bass on this song...
Sirri: Yeah and what the hell are you doing during the
outro...?
Dale: I don't know...but it's so ... I can't find the words
for it...
Manda: Badass?
Dale: That will do for now.
Xiavier: Other than MY sister, Kiana, playing piano and
Dale doing uber cool bass, this is your standard song to
thrash around to.
Kayle: yeah and it has a military style cadence and
breakdown in it...
Diante: Oh and turntables...yeah...turntables...if you
don't like it...to bad.
7. Destruction of the hate (the Furor’s Fall)
Sirri: Cool song with some semi-technical guitar parts,
both me and Xiavier do this little mini-solo for the
chorus parts and Manda does what she does best and
keeps everything together.
Manda: Yeah this song actually came together really
quickly and it may be one of our longest original
songs.
Kayle: And this time I chose to put the blast beat in it.
8. A shocking discovery
Dale: well it's another song I play bass on, but this time
I’m not the only random person who plays on a song
that isn't in the band!
Josia: yeah, I’m Kayle's drum tech. The only reason I
play on this song is because he didn't wanna play the
random blast beats so I said I’d do it.
Kayle: and you actually almost sound like me, except
for the fact that you DIDN'T USE MY DRUM SET!!!'
Josia: Well...I like mine better.
9. Redemption at the gates of oblivion
Manda: so what makes this song stand out from all the
others is the fact that Sirri and Xiavier are playing on
Seven string Guitars tuned normally, which for the
unaware is B-e-a-d-g-b-e from low to high and I’m
playing on a five string bass, which I detest, tuned
B-E-A-D-G low to high.
Diante: and I’m playing some crazy loop on an old
busted ass Moog synth.
Sirri: how this came about is Dale just walked up to us
with the guitars in tow and said...
Dale: Here, write a song using these, now.
Xiavier: and we tried but it took a couple of days for us
to work out the way that extra string worked and
diante had to figure out how to work the moog synth,
but all in
all it took us only a week to get the song record
worthy.
Kayle: and while they were figuring all that out I ate a
burrito and tried to channel my inner Mike Portnoy...
10. the last fallen hero
Sirri: This is the closest thing to death metal we have.
Kayle: yeah and the drums for this song almost made
me give up, well not really, but it was a damn good test
of skill seeing as how they skip from eight notes to
sixteenth notes then back and we have some
triplets...and the Effen tempo is either 200 or 211 bpm.
and they MADE me do a blast beat near the end...Gah.
Manda: I feel kinda sorry for you...well not really.
Kayle: Your just cruel.
Sirri: Trust me; you are not the first person to tell her
that.
Kayle: I bet.
11. Death’s knocking (you better answer)
Kayle: well this is two things at one. our lazy
song...and the closer to the album. it has a nice little
mellow breakdown in the middle of the madness and
then it kicks back in.
Xiavier: yeah for some reason me and Sirri love doing
those little quiet moments.
Sirri: just think of them as breathing space.
Manda: I wish you would of told me that before I went
crazy doing the bass line for that part, and what really
sucks is the fact that you can't hear it! That may be
one of my best lines and it gets drowned out.
Dale: Sorry Manda, but that just happens sometimes.
Manda: My ass, if it happens again, I’m gonna whip
your ass.
Dale: Ooh. promise?
Kayle: This may be the first song you hear when you
load up the CD but it was actually the last song finished
and it almost didn't make the cut. It originally started off
as a jam session that is a little lighter than what we

General | Posted 18 years agoWHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME!!! i never seem to finish anything i start and it is driving me nuts. I see all the famous douchbags squander their money on the most pointless things and it makes me want to hurt someone. If you have to money, and even if you don't do someting rare: help someone.
I am a human contradictionI generally don't like people cus we're all evil in out own way, but i try to convince people to like me so hard that i end up driving them away. Yes it's true.
I'm a self defeating person. i [CENTER] i keep telling myself "i can't, i can't" till i get to the point where i don't even attempt to try
why that's what i need to know, Why I love musicit's my passion. i could talk about it for hours on end.
Noone knows how smart i really am... i may have horrid grammar but i can hold my own in a conversation about anything from theology to sociology to chemistry to biology to ANYTHING easily. but most of the conversations get shifted towards some pointless icon that's going to be gone in a couple months.
WHY DOES NOONE THINK ANYMORE WHy?! I would love to hear the answer to that question why..Well i was really bored right...
