Had a great time at FWA this year. I can't tell you enough in words how great it was. "Unless you want me to literally break it all down."

It was a great hotel, the elevators could have been more organized. But it was great.

ELEVATOR CON, BREAK UP CON, BRUISE CON...whatever it was it was a great con regardless.

There were some friends there that I knew that weren't going out with the people that I knew and some of the news was fresh. :C But other than that. It didn't put much of a downer on their con. Everyone had a great time and drank until they dropped.

and I got some con swag and ate at Vortex twice. "he was pretty happy about that."

So I was playing around with the idea of opening up for commissions again.

I was wondering who would be interested in that. I know some of you have gotten work from me before. I just want to see if there would be interest still.

So I've been thinking abou this for quite some time now and wanted to get some opinions on this. As some of you are well aware I am a Graphic Designer, professionally and I also do freelance work. I've worked for a few design firms in florida and have done some freelance work for some big organizations. NBC, Brighthouse, Direct TV and some others. I wanted to originally leave Florida for better prospects up-state but, that is for some other time. I like where I am now.

So my question to you all is. Would you be interested if I were to open up for Design work here?

I would be able to do things like:
Logos, Branding "not the same as logos", Print, Promotional and Web design work.

Stuff like Business Cards, Brochures, Posters, etc.

I can break it down more if there is an actual interest. I just want to see if my chips would be wanted here for either artist looking to promote themselves or for anyone that has a small business or start up they want to promote. Or just for the heck of it.

If this is something of interest to you all I will totally start this. I would even go as far as create a new FA just for this work.
Just let me know what you all think and if you know anyone or are someone that is already doing this let me know how it's going for them or you, respectively.

So I am pumped for FWA. Get to take a "much deserved vaca" and get to see some friends that I don't keep in contact with too much and catch up.

I was interviewed yesterday for a Design position at a firm called "Citric Mind".
I got the job! I am so happy the guys running it are really awesome and we all seem to be on the same page when it comes to views, design and how we think as designers. I think I will like it a lot. We seem to blend well together and that is a VERY big component for a good work environment.

I start next week. I will be getting my first brief soon and as soon as the new building is done I will be working in my own office. I am excited and nervous ( but mostly excited and the nervousness is from anticipation.)

I am looking forward to this and being able to continue my work as a designer once again.
I will try to balance furry work with my job's work. But it will be a very bumpy road at the beginning once I figure out a descent work flow for myself being that it's a MAJOR job for me.

Here's to bigger and better things coming my way, at last. I can't be more grateful than i already am to everyone that helped me get to this point. Even if you just wrote a comment that said "good luck" it still was worth it.

Hey guys just thought I'd post this (though it's late).

Megaplex was great this year-other than the lack of quality in the hotel rooms-we all had a great time.

I roomed with
We had an awesome 3-day party! Our Nyantastic friday party and our other parties were more impromptu ones but fun all the same.

Friday was a crazy night because we were unfortunately introduced to "Crazy Bitch".
We got a different room the next night because of the poor conditions in the room. "Paint coming off of the walls, water damage...just to name a few. Luckily this was the last time that this con would be at the "Formerly known as" Radisson World Gate.

All in all I really love all you guys and I had a great time with some awesome friends and met some cool new people like. and

Can't wait for next year guys! STEAM-PUNK!!!! :D

And to all I didn't mention you know I was thinking about you. ;3

Just a little update here on the status of the pin-up commissions I have lined up that were paid for. I will starting those shortly. Due to company being over, post-megaplex.
