Red rocket badge commissions for delivery at Furnal Equinox
General | Posted 8 years agocommissions are now CLOSED.
I'm offering 3D printed red rocket badges up until the last couple of days before FE for delivery at the convention. I probably won't be printing these badges again for sometime after this and I won't be shipping these, so If you want one, now may be your only chance to get one.

They're printed in red PETG, which will not warp or melt in a hot car like other 3D printed materials. I can customize the font as well as the name as it appears on the badge to meet your desires.
I'm offering these for $25 dollars (Canadian) for at con delivery only. If you're interested in getting one, you can reply here or you can reach me via Telgram https://t.me/CudaCat.

Back from FE!
General | Posted 10 years agoI had a blast hanging out with
nurbs
draculion
louphin
nox-id and Verge! FE was tons of fun!
I spent most of Friday hanging out with
nox-id and
nurbs. We went to h0rs3's 3D hair and fur panel and I got a bit more insight into rendering hair and fur. h0rs3 uses Maya for most of his 3D work, but many of the techniques presented would work in other tools. It was really cool to see his work flow and I picked up a few neat tricks during the panel. We then spent the rest of the day playing video games and socializing. Noxid was crazy good at Nidhog and destroyed us both in the arcade. He then proceeded to play against and defeat pretty much everyone else who happened to be in the games room at the time. After getting wrecked at Nidhog, we decided it was probably a good time to get dinner.
We went to a local diner with Wolfin and Drac for dinner. The waiter was apparently a bit confused to see people walking around with tails and con badges, because he asked us if there was an anime con going on nearby. Friday was a lot of fun, I only wish I could have arrived a bit earlier to see the opening ceremonies.
On Saturday, activity at the con ramped up quite a bit. I met up with Verge and we went to go and meet Nurbs, who was preparing for his panel. I don't play Eve, but listening to his stories about SergalJerk's shenanigans in EvE was pretty amusing. We attended a few other panels that day and got to see the fursuit parade. I was surprised at the number of fursuiters this year, as there were quite a few more than last year. I got to see some very cool fursuits and costumes. As usual, Nuka's panel was interesting and he presented some interesting research. We got dinner at the local Swiss Chalet while still wearing our tails and other furry garb as per my suggestion which, naturally, seemed to confuse some of the other patrons and staff quite a bit. The improv that night was awesome. I couldn't work up the courage to actually volunteer, though. In hindsight, I kind of wish I did.
I didn't actually plan on staying Sunday night, but a slight scheduling mishap lead to another overnight stay. If not for Wolfin, I probably would have been stuck taking a cab to another hotel for that overnight stay, but he managed to help me get a room in the main hotel for the night. One nice side effect of that is that I got to stay for the dead dog dance. I ended up spending most of that time chatting with Nurbs and . Despite all the issues, I ended up having a lot of fun on Sunday night.
The convention was awesome! Nurbs has been trying to convince me to go to What the Fur in Montreal in May, and barring any major issues, I plan on being there. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again!

24 Hours
General | Posted 12 years agoOver 24 hours have passed and the furries still have no idea that I am, in fact, an engineer who sucks at drawing. I bide my time.
