Moving accounts!
Posted 11 years agoI'm slowly moving over to a new account that will cover all of my suiting nonsense (as I plan to have more than just Splash made :) )
splashsuits
I've been working on a mass rewatch of fellow RTP-ers, suiters, and suit-makers, so my apologies on being confusing!
I'll work on getting photos and whatnot on there as I can and removing stuff from this page.
Thank you!

Splash on Tumblr!
Posted 12 years agoHey guys! I have a Tumblr account where you can find photos of Splash and other artsy fartsy stuff:
http://scorgi.tumblr.com/
Photos will also be uploaded on this FA account but they'll probably be quicker on Tumblr and I can reblog stuff!
I have a separate Tumblr for my non-furry doodles if there is any interest:
http://splashem.tumblr.com/
Anything I really like will be reblogged to my main Tumblr anyway.
I'm hoping to stage some giveaways on my main Tumblr in the future.

AC 2013 - post journal
Posted 12 years agoAC 2013 has been done for a while, but this scorgisaurus has had a full agenda. For a little bit of proof, look at all of the photos uploaded to tigerstripephotography!
Anyway, AnthroCon was a blast. I thought it'd be overwhelming, but the sheer size of the convention space meant everything was spaced out with plenty of breathing room. Unfortunately there were a few factors that made suiting difficult - I was wearing gym shorts and a moisture wicking shirt which I don't think was enough (got lots of advice to find a full body moisture wicking suit) and my group's hotel was the Mariott, which was too far away to make visits to (next time I'm definitely getting into the Westin).
Because of this I wasn't able to suit too much, but I really enjoyed when it when I did. There are some things I need to fix in the suit - a broken seam in the shoulder, handpaws need to be remade, need to find a way to get the lower legs to stay down on the feet - and when they're resolved I'll be out and about even more.
Suiting was really fun. While that's a simple sentence, it means a lot of me. I did a lot of research, saving up, and waiting for Splash the suit, and AnthroCon was where I'd find out if it was all worth it - and it was! thecritterfactory's work really shone through and I had an incredible time feeling out her character and interacting with other people. Some of the best reactions were in our own hotel - when I returned on Friday a tipsy group of people started howling at me - I joined in, they loved it and we got the whole hotel group in a chorus - and when I returned on Saturday two little girls hugged on me and got pictures with me. Ah!!
I met some amazing people at the con. I'm going to miss a few icons here because I really was flustered, this is absolutely not a complete list:
fayv
RioInRed
lupus_sicarius
ino89777
razzy_lee
gillpanda
zarafa
and a big thank you to all of the suiters who caught me while I was wandering around offering compliments, advice, and loving hugs.
The furry fandom really is a wonderful thing and it makes me deeply happy to be a part of it.

AnthroCon 2013
Posted 12 years agoMy journey to AC2013 starts tomorrow and I'll be at the convention from Thursday through Monday!
I'm super excited. This will be my second full convention, first time to Pittsburgh, and my first time fursuiting!
If any of y'all will be there, please do say hi! But my apologies 'cause I'm already super nervous.
Eeee!
