It's about time
Posted 10 years agoOkay guys, this is the last journal for a while. The next stuff you'll see from me will be images!
For the past two months I've been working towards getting a managing position at the store I've been working at for a little over 2 years. As of last week, I was offered the job! I've been training and learning as much as I can, which is why I disappeared right after posting my last journal. [I'm so sorry guys]
My hours will improve once I get fully trained to open and close the store, so right now I've got a semi-constant schedule to slam it all out.
In regards to my health, things have finally returned to normal. I've been able to get off the migraine medication, so I'm not having weird bouts of depression/lack of appetite anymore which is awesome! I've been able to work out payment plans with the offices, and things will smooth out once my paperwork goes through for my raise.
Right now I'm at a shelter to help with some cats, but as soon as I get home (roughly an hour and a half from now. Two tops) I will be back and working on at least one thing to post. If you'd like to sit and talk and see WIPs, I can pull Skype up while I work and have a group convo.
I've really missed this place terribly, and I'm quite pleasantly surprised that I've been getting new watchers! To the new dudes, "Howdy!" To everyone who's been here, "I can't wait to start talking to y'all again!"

Lots of updates
Posted 10 years agoHello, guys and gals! I've not up and abandoned this place, I've just been caught up with a lot of things going on the past few months that have taken priority.
We'll go through a collapsed timeline of events, and if you have questions feel free to ask after you've been sure to read everything in case I've answered it here already!
In early December I had a drastic change in my migraines that caused some alarm (I.e. extreme vertigo, confusion, slurred speech, loss of major motor skills in general) and was promptly placed on Maxalt which caused a horrible allergic reaction and sent me to the ER. For two weeks I had different medications in me to see which would work and the doctors settled on Topamax.
Topamax was most certainly not the way to go and caused me to lose almost 20 pounds in just over a month and a half, and sent me into a severe depressive slump. Right before I was taken off of Topamax, I was involved in a car accident (Christmas Eve) that added a lot of stress to my already wonked out life. Things thankfully went smoothly, as the other person involved was very kind and didn't involve the police to add ticket costs to it all. (Christmas miracle, man.)
January was horrible with work due to inventory, and I managed to sketch some personal things on my limited down time, but I lacked motivation and decent amounts of time to work on art. I also got a surprise notice from the IRS about my father's wonderful skills at filing taxes and I've come to the conclusion I'm letting a professional do them this year. ($600 was way too much for me to pay in two weeks.)
February work slowed down, and I went to a neurologist to see new medications that would help where Maxalt and Topamax had fallen short. Right now, I'm on one called Trokendi and it's messing with me a little, but I'm feeling pretty normal.
Also, last month I had taken a working vacation out of state for a few weeks to help promote my boyfriend's clothing company (which I'm designing for :3 ), and we have a new connection in Ozark, AL! There's a small shop who bought some merchandise to sell and if things go well, we'll continue to supply the shop with clothing and quite possibly... some boards designed by little ole me!
If you've commissioned me, or won a slot in an auction in the past and don't wish to wait any longer (Which is understood), I will be working out refund plans as my finances have been messed up due to the constant hospital/doctor visits.
I WILL be getting back to posting this week! Hopefully tomorrow after work I can wrap up a commission, and push through more art.

who uses binders? I need help
Posted 11 years agoI'm looking to get one, and so far I've heard great things from Underworks, and I wanted some other folk's input. Also... I'm hoping people who've got bustier issues will say something because I'm working with d's and need something that works well and doesn't cost an absurd amount.
If it makes it easier, I wouldn't be using it everyday. But it would have to be comfortable enough to be worn during a workday where I'm constantly moving around. Any ideas??

Posted 11 years agoSo I've had a whopping three days off in about three weeks, and I left work early a few days due to some medical issues. I'm actually home now from a wonderful visit to the ER yesterday.

Over the next two weeks or so, I'll be busy with work and a few more doctor visits, including an MRI right after Thanksgiving. So you guys can expect me around about as much as you've gotten accustomed to lately. I'm really getting rusty at drawing due to not being able to, and it's making me anxious. ;-;

I have decided to keep this account as my harder fetish account, as I have received messages from friends who refuse to watch this account due to the contents. And I completely understand because scat isn't everybody's cup of tea, but it pays the bills. haha
I will be creating an alternate account which will contain easier images, such as pegging, generalized m/f m/m f/f etc, paws (excited about that one), balloons (!! ahh I'm really excited haha), and the like.
This account will remain my scat account. I will continue to add new things to the gallery, as I have a vomit request to get to. Diaper will probably be added, but not in a sexual manner. (I really needed to throw that in there.) Watersports I will try again, but I didn't get much traffic that route... Also, I will be giving a shot at inflation!

Posted 11 years agoI picked up my tablet today, a tiny Intuos. It's weird trying to use it because I haven't found the right combination for the settings, so it's gonna take me a day to get used to it. It's small, compact, and I didn't pay out the ass for it, so that's a plus.

I had to return a tablet after ordering a new one (Which I got a lovely email stating that it won't be sending for a while.. JOY), so I'm currently searching for my old POS, but I'm having some difficulty locating it. (Thanks to Mother borrowing it and having no idea where she put it -__- )
Work is keeping me busy as always, so that's a plus. I'm currently searching for an additional job to replace one that I'm not making enough to keep. So keep your furry fingers crossed for me!
I will be working on traditional stuff until I can start on digital again, so for the next few days you might see some sketches and a necklace or two pop up in your inboxes.
I might see how using my mouse goes Wednesday afternoon, but seeing as I've been a tablet only user for about three years, I'm not sure how it'll go. But it's worth a shot!

balancing 3 jobs
Posted 11 years agoHey guys, I know you haven't seen me in a while, and I apologize for that. I just recently acquired a 3rd job, so I'm still in the process of working out a schedule to find time to work on any art. ;___;
Today is my first real day off, and I'll be meeting a few furs who live in the area~ After all of that hulabaloo, I've got some errands to run and then I can sit down and get to work. I've been working mainly overnight-style shifts, so the short period of time I have to be awake is filled with chores around the house. :'D Tomorrow night I believe I should be able to get back to drawing, Thursday night for sure! I miss talking to you guys! D:
I'll have some fresh auctions up for grabs once I get the current que list finished up. <3 I had some unexpected bills come up, so I have to cover them ASAP.
And I wanted to thank you guys. Even though I'm a few watchers away, it's awesome to know that almost 100 people like my art enough to watch me and what I can make. Without you guys and your support, I'm just some dude who draws dogs just to make myself happy. Now I've got plenty of other people to make happy.

Two of my friends have decided to purchase a ticket for me to go to Warped Tour for the very first time. <333
I'm really stoked for Breathe Carolina, Of Mice and Men, The Ready Set, Falling in Reverse, Less Than Jake, Yellowcard.... And Dan wants to see MC Chris, so that's happening too. Haha
I'll be working on commissions and YCH's today and then resuming Thursday! Thank you for your patience, guys. A a lot has happened in the past two months, and the understanding that's come from this community is awesome. <3 Like I have stated in a previous journal, those who are waiting on art will be getting bonus art as a thank you. I was originally going to do just a sketch page, but I'm thinking that Flat colour busts/badge style drawings would be better. I'll be noting users about it this weekend.
Once everything is caught up, new auctions will be available and a way to keep an eye on new/current YCHs will be in effect soon enough. <3 So journals are going to be necessary by next week!

She has decently priced commissions, and her art is WONDERFUL. She puts a lot of love and detail into her pieces, but it's SFW only.

Laptop back soon
Posted 11 years agoI gave my laptop to Danny a few days ago to fix what I couldn't, and so far he says it's doing ok. He's going to download a newer SAI for me, and I can get back to art.
More good news... I'm going to possibly get new glasses. :D maybe I can actually see things without struggling! Haha
Also, Danny and I are avidly house hunting again... And we've had good luck finding several we can afford, so odds are in our favor. Life is starting to turn back into a positive direction finally. :)

Commissions- help
Posted 11 years agoGuys, I know I have some art owed, but I have to take some more commissions. Im free tomorrow night into Friday to do nothing but draw for you guys.
My job has cut my hours so dramatically that I cannot afford gas or groceries, and it's starting to worry me. Luckily I have food for Buddy, but that'll last maybe a month.
If anyone could give me a signal boost, I would greatly appreciate it. I'll literally draw anything you want, just note me.

Back soon..
Posted 11 years agoSo I wrote that last journal Wednesday, expecting a little more time with my Papaw. Unfortunately I was wrong, and shortly after 6 pm Thursday evening, he lost his battle with cancer.
I have not touched any owed art in a little over a week, and I've needed to keep myself distracted. I've been keeping active thanks to Danny, and it's helped greatly.
Though for those who have been waiting patiently, I thank you with everything I have. I will be more than willing to throw in an extra sketch sheet for those on my wait list as a thank you. I don't know how else to show my gratitude towards you guys. ;____;
In other news, the few old followers of mine know my OC, Namey... Well, her story started at my 7th year of age, from little doodles. I never named her, so she became Nameless (Namey). She's always looked the same... For fourteen years... It's time to change her, even minimally. First off, she has a name... Tadpole. My Papaw gave me that nickname when I was a toddler, and I think it would be a wonderful way to honor and remember a wonderful man... Calling my oldest and most beloved character Tadpole.
That's all I have to share with you all for now. Thank you again, and I'll be back to drawing ASAP. I really do love and appreciate you guys. <3

My grandfather is on his death bed, and seeing me around here might not happen much until his passing.
I haven't forgotten the commissions, auctions, or trades. But this little Tadpole needs to be there for her papaw for a long a she can..

Shelter cats need votes! (Please read)
Posted 11 years agoThere's no money involved here, just a vote! My local shelter (where I volunteer and will soon be an official employee!!!) is taking part in the "Best In Shelter" virtual cat show competition!
The shelter with the most votes this round moves on to the second, then the third, and then the final... where that shelter can win a grand prize to help fund for food, medications, etc!

Posted 11 years agoHowdy y'all! Now that I finally have some time to sit and think I can actually get back to owed art!
About my hiatus: I went on a much needed vacation with my boyfriend to the beach last week and loved every minute of it. I feel refreshed and ready to go again! Thank you to those who have patiently waited for art. <3 I have not forgotten about you and will have commissions and finished auctions by Friday!
I also have trades with
to finish (Haven't forgotten about you, Tabs! Promise!)
But also new YCHs to make up for my shoddy paychecks. It's pretty bad and I have more bills. ;__;
ANYWAYS I have about two hundred different things between submissions, journals, and comments to reply to...
