I've made a new account

I made the "scourge160" account when I was primarliy a Sonic fan that dabbled in anthropomorphic art. After a year as an active furry and having a well established fursona, I feel my "scourge160" moniker no longer pertains to myself and my fursona within the furry community. Once I get my partial suit, I will be switching over to the Barkley account for the majority of my activity on FA. The scourge160 account WILL remain active and I might use it as a place to put pictures of other fursuiters and furry stuff that doesn't pertain to me directly.

Barkley's Upcoming Furry Events July/August
Posted 11 years agoI really hope everyone who went to Anthrocon had a good time! I really wanted to go this year but funds are low and getting the time off was nearly impossible.
June (+ first weekend in July) was my most furry month ever. 5 straight weekends of furry fun!!!
I attended:
Great Lakes Fur Camp on June 7-8
Island Lake Park BBQ on June 14th
Lansing Fur Meet on June 21st
Grand Rapids Fur Meet on June 28th
Grand Rapids 4th of July BBQ
Not much going on in the rest of July for me. Just possibly a duct tape dummy party and the GR BBQ/Bowl Meet on the 19th. In August, me and
Vexser are planning on attending the August 16th LAFF meet. I'm hoping to have my suit by then (nudge nudge

Upcoming spring furry stuff!!
Posted 11 years agoHey guys! Just thought it was time to update my journal and give a brief schedule of events I plan to attend in May!
- May 10th is the Lansing Bowl Meet at 9pm @ Royal Scott
- May 24th is the Big Furry BBQ starting at 10am @ Lake Saint Clair Metropark.
- May 31st is the Grand Rapids bowl meet at 9pm @ Spectrum Lanes.
So far, that's all I have planned!

I seem to be much stronger and have the ability to build more muscle than any other beaver I know. Try to find another beaver that can lift 3 times his own bodyweight!
I also have the ability to transform into an otter. I know. Crazy, right?! Some weird wizard dude at a rave party actually put a spell on me!! Unfortunately, it wears off after a few hours and I can't seem to do it again for a couple days. *sadface*

Just a few weeks ago, I was walking with a friend and joking around, I gave my friend a friendly shoulder "bump" with my fist and knocked him 5 feet over on his butt. He got a small bruise, but he's OK. Thankfully, no hard feelings. Sometimes, I don't know my own strength! I felt REALLY bad as I'm totally against acts of violence.

Hell no. I couldn't live knowing I had killed someone.

GLFC...Over!
Posted 11 years agoJust got back from GLFC. For being a first year con, I have to say, it went well from an attendee's point of view. The vibe I got from the majority of the staff, not so much as things were constantly not going as planned, etc. GLFC had the most FANTASTIC set of DJ's for the nightly dances and dead dog party. Justice Hardcore (A team of DJ/producers, one from the UK) and my friend Antonio did fantastic jobs! I only wish there were more furs actually at the dances, although, we only had a total 264 attendees and most of them were scattered all over. Unlike most cons it seems, the con population fizzled out by Sunday mid-day with only a very small handful of furries (I'd estimate less than 30) in the hotel after 10pm. The dead dog party was DEAAAAAAD. By 11pm and still an hour to go in the Dead Dog, it was basically me, vexser, 
scynt and a couple others left in the room.
Overall. It was a great experience. It was nice being able to meet people from Michigan and the other neighboring states as well as the UK.

Yes!! 2013 was probably the best year I've had in a really long time. Socially, I've never had a better year. After years of being a shut-in Sonic fan who just happened to like anthropomorphic art and know a couple of sonic fans online who were furries, I finally gained the courage to check out the local furry scene. I went to a bowl meet just down the road from me in July and the rest is history!! I also bought my very first new car, a Chevy Spark! It's everything I need.
2. What was your favorite moment of the year?
Hanging out at Midwest Fur fest!!
3. What was your least favorite moment of the year?
Being stressed out by my job earlier in the year.
4. Where were you when 2013 began?
At home, I believe.
5. Who were you with?
I don't remember. I was either with my mom or by myself.
6. Where will you be when 2013 ends?
It sounds like I'll be at work.
7. Who will you be with when 2013 ends?
Co-workers, I guess.

3 (Indiana, Illinois, Ohio) and 1 Canadian province, Ontario. I almost went to New York when I was in Niagara Falls, ON.

I saw so many movies this year, it's hard to say. I just saw Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and that was really good, so I'll say that for now.

I have 16 watchers and I watch 26 artists/accounts.
