We're getting ready for our next meet, set for the 21st November 2015
Here's the rundown of the day(s) planned.

SATURDAY
Those coming by train, we'll be meeting in Lime street station between 11AM AND 12PM,up against the glass windows of WH Smiths, the area is pretty spacious but if the crowd gets too big, we'll move the group on towards the venue.
Those who are new or don't know Liverpool too well PLEASE get hold of someone's number who you know is going, if not, PM me or Scouse fur's for the meet's contact phone number, we won't leave anyone behind before the designated times.
We will then be heading to the New Venue 'Hope & Anchor' at around 12 o'clock.
At the moment we do not have a space for suiters to get changed (this may change but at the current time nothing 100% designated) so please partial suits or may have to use the bathroom (sorry about this at the moment)
To Those coming by Car, the Venues surrounding areas hold payable car parks, as well as side streets and other acceptable parking places near the Liverpool Art College.
Anyone who is under 16's will have to be gone by 6pm due to the venues rulings (as that's when they stop serving the rather amazing and gut busting food)

Liverpool Meet 17th October & Change In Venue & Staff
Posted 10 years agoIts that time once again everyone.We're getting ready for our next meet, set for the 17th October 2015Here's the rundown of the day(s) planned...:: PLAN ::..SATURDAYThose coming by train, we'll be meeting in Lime street station between 11AM AND 12PM,up against the glass windows of WH Smiths, the area is pretty spacious but if the crowd gets too big, we'll move the group on towards the venue.

The new Venue is due to the fact that apparently BaaBars is being sold off and will be closed. The new Venue is spacious and welcoming with plenty of things for entertainment and a large outdoors space (Which is private to the bar)

Update to the scouse furs !
Posted 10 years agoRight guys there have been some major updates regarding the staff who run the Scouse furs as some of you may have noticed that icons of Indiwolf and Defox have gone :( sadly they have decided to stop being staff due to reason i cant say but as far as I'm aware have said tat may attend meets in future still. We have also added more staff to the icons so if you wish for more information please contact the people located in the scouse furs information.
As for the next Scouse fur meet this will be held on the 25th July 2015 the same weekend as mcm Manchester. this is because as people know we hold our meet every 2 months and on the 4th weekend of that month. Sometimes this may clash with events that are happening, sadly we cannot do anything with that this is just how it works.
Hopefully i will be updating this account more often in future to let you know about our events and feedback from you lovely people.

First off would like to say sorry for late journal post >< and thank you to all who attended our last meet on the 22nd November hope you all had fun :D
Scouse furs would like to congratulate all who toke part in out tombola and our raffle :D
Just to let you all know we are planning a December meet up ! This is not a official meet but to just hang round do some last minute Christmas shopping and maybe food and drink. This will be held due to popular vote on Facebook poll 13.12.14 !
The next official Scouse meet will be held in January and most likely on the 24th due to this being the 4th week of the month :3
Please remember that scouse fur meets are not a monthly thing and are held every 2 months and on the 4th week.
More news to be announced soon and photos to be uploaded :3

We'll also be bringing you all something extra this time, Special thanks to our good friends Streetpass Liverpool, we'll be bringing a SECOND day to our meet this month, Sundays offering of games tournaments and fellow gaming atmosphere in the Scythe and Teacup, our local gaming Cafe only minutes away from Lime Street station.

[Feedback Welcome] 27th September 2014 aftermath
Posted 11 years agoSo after a derby day and the bar being full of people, Scouse furs would like to thank all who attended this meet and who contributed to the raffle and tombola.
A big congratulations to 
who won our first prize in the raffle and won a standard membership code for registering with this coming FurVention!
We had amazing weather and so many suitors show up for the fur walk. That had to be one of the best fur walks seen for a while at the meets.
If you have photos of the walk or just in general from the meet im sure all would love to see so if you could post in a comment below linking them that would be great.
Any feedback you can give us on how you thought the day went would be much appreciated.
did you find the venue big enough? prices of drinks? or the performance of the staff both behind the bar and ones one's hosting this meet.
Now just a little note that a incident happened today which led to someone being banned from the furmeets not saying who it was but please note that anything that will cause danger to others or self will be asked to leave and if it serious a ban put in place! i felt sad that we had to ban someone but the rules are put in place to keep others safe
We are looking at booking the venue for the
22nd November 2014
so we do not clash with the Manchester main meet which is being held the week after.

Liverpool Meet Rules

Recently we've had a surge of numbers attending Liverpool meet's, So we've decided on bringing a number of set rules down in regards the event, the venue and how things should run throughout the day. These are nothing scary, they're very easy to follow and most is just common sense. :)So here we go:
1.Age Consent and Guardian's for under 16's.
Very easy to understand, The Venue we travel to is Baa Bar, which in turn serves alcohol. Anyone under the age of 16 who attends must be aware they will need a guardian with them at that present time. Please let one of the staff know who your guardian is so we are aware who is underage and attending. Thanks :)
the following staff you should inform are:Petyee, Fang, Indi, Jester, DeFox, Cloud, Kel or Elle.
2.Behaviour In the Venue.
Another easy one, Treat the venue, its staff, and other fellow attendees as you would do your home, We're responsible for you awesome guys and we want to stay awesome :D
We are not responsible for anyone who chooses to drink accessibly however, so please know your limits and drink responsibly. ;)
3.Outside Food In the Venue.
There has been some confusion with this in the past, Previously we were allowed to consume outside food in the area we had booked, however under new management we'd like to ask all attendees who order food outside of Baa Bar's grounds to consume outside of it too, That including their outdoor bench seating areas. Many thanks :)
Otherwise, Baa Bar have their own decent menu of food served every day till late, Prices are decent too. Don't forget to check them out on the day. :D
4.Fursuit Lounge Privicy.
Liverpool meet's have their own fursuit lounge, Attendee's bringing large luggage and fursuits can use this cordoned off area for themselves, but please be aware when entering as attendee's may be changing/unchanging (Save us all the blushing faces :P ). If you don't have a suit or any need to be in the area then please avoid using the lounge.
If Fursuiters wish for someone to help them into suits (also known as handlers) they will be allowed access.

So the dust has settled on what was one of the busiest weekends we've had in Liverpool, both for our meet and with the mechanical giants attracting nearly 1 million tourists into Liverpool over the weekend. What a rush!!

Posted 11 years agoThank you all for coming to this weekends meet, It was a pleasure seeing new faces as well as the usual's, your all awesome! :D
However, it is worth pointing out we had some complications with a Stag do turning up at the bar, but the amount of support we've received for you guys has touched us, we try to make these meets as friendly as possible for you all, and hope we can bring you all back for more awesome times in the future. ^^
We had a Wonderful fursuit walk, we took advantage of the great weather and got some lovely shots. If you haven't seen some of them over on twitter you can always browse through our Photobucket account:

Just out of interest, we've decided to leave a small FAQ here from now on. A number of questions have been circulating at previous meets, so adleast here we can answer a few of them for you. In doing so making each meet as hassle-free for you all. :)Q.Where do you all meet?
Outside WHsmiths in Lime st station, between 11am and 12pm. Tails are acceptable in the Station, just be prepared for a few funny looks XD
Q.Where is the venue you all go to?
Our regular venue is now Baa Bar Hardman Street,7 Myrtle Street,Liverpool,L7 7DN. (01517097966) We've been using them now for well over a year, they're pretty happy with the company we bring and our usual antics. Staff are friendly and the food/drink isn't too expensive. An ideal venue!
Q.My train was late! how do i find the group from Lime st station??
Ensure you have someone else's number who is going the meet, or if your new don't forget to note down our meet number (078470426999) we'll be happy to send someone back or give directions to the venue, just remember our meet phone is only active on the weekend of the meets.
Q.I can't find the Staff at your meet, who do i talk to?
We have a number of staff and helpers running the meet each time we arrange a meet. They can easily be found with their BLUE lanyards reading "staff" and of course staff badges. Current staff arranging meets are Tribal, Indi, Fang, Elle and Defox. If you get lost or have no one to speak to, find them and they'l happily introduce you to a number of people! :D
Q.What's Baa Bar's food like?
Quite nice actually! they run a basic sort of menu, pizzas, burgers, chips etc. But is relativity cheap and tasty. If that's not for you there is a Co-op across the road (with ATM) as well as a number of take outs down the road that we pass on the way towards the venue (Subway, Costa, Starbucks etc.) so plenty of choice on the day! :)
Q.What are the usual events that take place?
We usually have a cake sale, along with tombola with random prizes, Petyee's podcasting event with FurUradio, Fursuiting walk at around 3pm, Indi's Art table's and shotcakes for all attendee's around 5.30pm.
All proceed's raised will go towards running the Scousefur's event and Charity.
Q.Which Charity?
Bradbury Centre Dogs for the Blind. So far we've raised for them a staggering £840 to this date (23/4/2014) So thank you all <3
We'll be updating this thread more as time goes on, if there are any more FAQ's you think that need answering please give us the feedback either here or at a future meet. We'll be happy to help you guys any way we can. <3

Thank you all for coming along to what was another great meet!
Firstly, we would like to announce the grand total of people's kind donations throughout the day came to : £69.64p
The default charity we've been running for has been Bradbury fields Dogs for the blind, but if anyone can find an even needier cause in the Liverpool area, we'll be happy to consider other possible charities too.
The weather couldn't of been any more unpredictable, but we managed to get a mini walk done, along with some awesome photos with you guys. Link us here and we'll publish your photography skills from the day.

Apologies this is so late. by over 2 weeks to be exact :'D
We would personally like to thank everyone who made it to January's Liverpool meet, with it being one of the busiest we've seen in quite some time. We hope you all enjoyed the day and what it had to offer (despite the awful weather).
We promise to do more for you, and here is where you can help!:
Let us know any feedback you would like to give, for us to reflect on each meet to bring you something new and exciting next time you come visit :3
Also, if we continue to reach the demand last meet carried, we'll happily bring forth these meets on a monthly basis, let us know what you think!
The bar staff were delighted with everyone on the day, and thanks to you all they managed to bring in a lot of revenue, we can hope to build a better relationship with the BaaBar staff and its chain to bring better facility's and even more privileges/events for you all. So give yourselves a pat on the back for being so awesome. <3
The tombola and raffle donations came to a total of £66. Thank you all, This will go towards funding the venue and booking the areas for our future meets.
Those who won on the raffle can you please respond to this journal along with what you won. There we're some miscommunication on the day and we want all winners to make sure they get their prizes.
Next meet shall be on the 22ND OF MARCH.

Just a little playful thing to introduce, with this being the last meet of the year we wanted something Halloween and/or Christmas themed, go crazy!
