My commissions are usually open all the time, but I need to start pushing them at the moment. I'm in an unfortunate financial situation and need some help.

Thankfully, I am not losing my apartment yet - however, I cannot stay in this town. My lease is up in December, but I doubt I will be able to renew it. There is someone actively trying to prevent me from getting another job, and my current one only has me working part time. I am going to be saving as much money as I can over the next couple of months so I can ensure I have somewhere to go after moving out.

I offer commission types up to $100 base price, and my current turnaround for new comms is around two weeks for flats and shaded, or within a few days for colored sketches. hey just a reminder that pretty much all of my characters are available for commissions or gift art, so long as it doesn't involve anything on my blacklist (basically, no underage, no rape, no wasteplay). I'm open to discussing stuff like that on discord if needed!

This year has been... wild. I'm still alive, for what it's worth.

I'm hoping i can get a better computer this year, so that's what all my commission money will be going to. I have a job to pay rent, so i'm not as worried about that. still, i should look for a better one of those too - i don't even make $10 an hour so fuck that.

Additionally, i have a hell of a queue. I should clear that up.

First, i'm not dead. Most of my uploads end up on Twitter first. I'm working an irl job to pay rent, so artwork has indeed slowed down in the past year or so.

Lastly, I updated my Patreon and brought back art-related rewards. I'm keeping them limited, as I do still have a queue, but there's a $10 tier for colored sketches and a $25 tier for flat artwork. The latter is limited to five patrons. The link is in the footer and description of my posts.
I also want to make it known that any patreon-exclusive work is only viewable on Discord, due to concerns over copywritten material being used in nsfw content on Patreon. My personal convictions also prevent me from using a website like SubscribeStar instead, so this is the best option.

Hey! It's been six months since i last made a journal apparently.

First off, I've been looking for somewhere to stay for a while. Art's been super slow as I deal with the stress of it, and Covid hasn't helped at all. I've been relying on my commissions to keep stuff going on my end. I'll be okay, at least!

I will also say, as far as FA-based commissions go, that contacting me at Discord (@screamoshaymin#0492) or Telegram (@screamoshaymin) will be the easiest ways to get a quick response. I'm also working on a google sheet to keep track of current commissions and their progress. In the shuffle of... well, last year in general, I ask that anyone who's been waiting for a commission with no updates get ahold of me as soon as they can. My current situation makes it much more difficult for me to refund, but I will gladly push to finish whatever pieces you're waiting on.
