Well, looking at my last journal it seems I wanted to draw more... well I found ponies and accomplished that goal out the fricking yin yang, go me.

Learning how to do vector art more and more, learning InkScape like a boss, got a rather popular (I think so at least) request thread over on PonyChan. Though I freely admit that's only popular because I willingly vector other people's OCs for them. But hell, I got good enough to win a competition someone put up to make an OC Pony to use on their business cards and such, so I must be doing something right, right? Right.

Still looking to improve how I do ponies, I've got the style down pretty good I think so what comes next? Oh yeah, more dynamic poses! I do way too many ponies just standing in place and seen from the side, gotta do more dynamic stuff if I wanna get better, gotta push myself.

My Little Pony... who'd have thought it. Actually making me want to draw more when nothing else could really motivate me.

Yes, occasionally my birthday falls on an Easter Sunday.

This does have the plus size of the usual Easter dinner, but the downside of not really being able to go anywhere since everything is closed.

I think I've done enough lurking on FA... I need to buckle down and just draw more, sketches, scraps.. anything to practice and get better, I've had ideas for a comic for too long, I think I finally want to get really started on the look of the characters and such. I've got a nice tablet that's been collecting dust for way too long.

In other news, saw How to Train Your Dragon, I really liked it even if there's some parts that make no sense. Never read the books so I didn't go in there with any real expectations. Thinking of catching Clash of the Titans later this week, on that I should have some better opinions on since I really like the old Ray Harryhausen infused original.

Just saw the movie, was good, not great, but good. There's nothing after the credits, and the credits don't include any form of the original theme, or remix there of. But other than that was a good movie.

Also if anyone sits next to someone who brings a LASER POINTER to a movie on opening weekend, even for the first showing? Smack them and report them for me would you? Some jerk ass just had to go and f*ck with his during random points in the movie detracting from the story and crap... jeeze I'd love to get my hands on him.. or possibly her. though I doubt is was a female.

I'm trying to find an old furry comic I saw online quite some time ago. There are two american furs, foxes, captured by nazis and one of them gets turned into a buff buxom ubervixen.

If anyone can link me to it that'd be great, this has been bugging me for about a week now.

I just saw this movie and I have to admit... I really didn't think it was that bad. I'm not saying it was a cinematic masterpiece.. but it wasn't nearly as bad I thought it would be... much better than that Street Fighter Chun Li movie... *shudder*

The acting was decent for the most part.. they didn't rip the characters personalities to pieces. Of course I think they could have sticked to the how the character look a little better.. like Roshi being old and bald.. but at least he was still a pervert.

The special effects were decent.. they didn't look like something anyone could reproduce with a tutorial and 15 minutes in After Effects. The fighting was decent too.

All in all this was a decent movie... nothing great.. but nothing horrible either. Though I'm still miffed at the lack of Krillian. We get Yamcha, but no Krillian... what the heck? At least they left out that annoying fricking Puar.. and Oolong.

Yay, another year gone by. Today I'm finally gonna get my first professional RC plane, dunno exactly what though. Maybe a Piper Cub or an Aerobird... I'll be heading down to the local RC hobby shop in a bit and we'll see.

Got my new computer all set up. Everything seems to working fine, Vista hasn't been giving me any problems. I've actually been getting a few more problems out of now being on a 64 bit system since some programs require special downloads ot run on it, but anyway, yeah. Computer is running great, got is off newegg.com. If you do get one from NewEgg do NOT get one of the Cyberpower brand ones. When it arrived the video card was loose in the case, like it had just been put in there and then closed back up, not actually installed. Luckily this doesn't seem to have damaged it all, but still, I wouldn't buy from them again.

But yeah, my new credit card had a crappy starting limit, which wasn't completely unexpected, so I had to get a loan from my parents, which I hate having to resort to.

But all of this is made better by the fact I can now play Burnout Paradise! Gods this games rocks so much, finally burnout on the PC. My only gripe with it is that the menu system is very clunky since they didn't bother to redesign it when they ported the game, but this doesn't come up too often.

Got my new credit card in the mail today, earlier than expected, which was the good news. Bad news is it has a pathetic credit line, so I'm still screwed for getting a decent computer, looking at one of those rent to own places now, or other options.

Yay, I'm still screwed for doing my projects and stuff for at least another week. Also I won't even know how big a credit limit I'll have 'til the card actually arrives. Gods I hate this... I just have to hope it's enough so I can get a decent computer.

Hopefully they think they've gotten some idiot who knows nothing about credit cards and give me a decent limit thinking I'll max it out and end up owing them a lot. I plan to use this thing to get my freaking computer and that's it.

Well... just a short time after that ticket from my last journal entry my computer has decided to get corrupted and stop working right.

I have Windows XP, the screen gets to the windows loading screen then goes black, and I lose keyboard and mouse control, I can tell it shuts off my keyboard because the Num Lock lights turns off by itself and won't come back on, none of the lights will.

If I restart I can only get to windows through Safe Mode. I have run all my anti virus and such programs and have tried using a save point from before, nothing doing. So I've given up on this damn computer and will be trying to get a new one.

Unfortunately since my school had to cosign on my last loan I can't use loan money to get a new computer so I've decided to take the plunge and finally get a freaking credit card so I can get a new computer. I kinda a need a computer at home so I can do my projects, and also run my freaking web design business!

Wow, I hate state troopers now... or at least one in particular. I'm driving home from work in the far left lane (the fast lane) on a 3 lane highway, no one ahead or behind me. A state trooper switches lanes behind me and on go the lights.

Turns out I was going 81 on a 65mph highway. In the fast lane. By myself, no one around. WHO WAS I ENDANGERING THAT I NEEDED TO BE TICKETED?

Jeez... and the best part! Oh, the best part! Since it's was over 80mph (barely) that means I get an automatic court date rather than just being able to pay a stupid fine and be on my way.

Well... I got another ferret. My neighbors down the street found him in their basement... big albino male. We've had him checked out and everything.. he's fine.. been looking in the paper and can't find anything in the lost and found.. so it looks like Lily has a friend now, I named him Tiger. Tiger & Lily, I'm so clever.

In other news I have gotten out of FFXI, before the free 30 day trail was up so I'm not out much. And I am now officially in the WoW now... if anyone wants to play sometime just send me a note. I'm on the RP server Shadow Council mostly, but I don't mind going to other servers.

Just saw it, good movie... had some nice action scenes and very good character moments.. and the training sequence and final battle were both great and funny.

Stay til the end of the credits, and be thankful they didn't go for the boring old scrolling text on black.

Also... saw a poster for the third Mummy movie! Looks like they're not gonna be bringing Imhotep back again, thank Ra.
