I'm a hot weather person and so 99F doesnt bother me in the slightest. Im going hiking up a mountain today if everything pans out right. Probably at around 2pm. Anyone up for it? Im in Stevenson Ranch, CA. btw so you probably need to be close.

Requirements:

Bring water (essential!)
Bring light clothes
Bring a hat and sunglasses if your eyes are sensitive
Bring a camera. You sometimes run into cool wildlife. "Sometimes"

Don't be afraid of fire ants. They dominate this mountain trail. Just keep walkin and yer fine.
If you need to bring a walking stick thats cool, it also helps when you have the occasional snake crossing the trail.

Ill have some minor first aid supplies on me just in case.

Make sure to take care of the restroom before we hike. No bathrooms on the mountain :P

Updates for the Future of this page
Clearly this page is dead and boring....I'm in debate of keeping this page up...I only throw winter furmeets and doubt really throw other meets out here due to work. The other meet doesn't seem to be happening anymore so I'm thinking of either shutting this down and having my page be the original page or have  raptorarts set up events out here other then the winter event cause that's my event that is dear to me....

I've dropped in and out of the fandom and certain things keep me here on FA but that's it and I don't drive (which I'm working on actually for once) so my event is mostly winter time...if you wish I keep this up comment here and tell me how to keep this up thank you!

Since I only do one to two events a year if I should keep this page up or just take it down and just stick to my regular page that I check more often... What you guys think?

I'm going to a funeral for my mate's great grandma so we will either be late or not show up! You can still come and have fun, I'm just throwing this out there! Thank you for understanding!

The official santa clarita summer furmeet will be held on Saturday, Dec 20th! This will held at Heritage Park, 24155 Newhall Ranch Rd (I recommend parking off mcbean to the left of fairview drive it's closer to the BBQs) in Santa Clarita. The event will start with a bbq/potluck at 5:30pm! Then there will be a Fursuit walk when the sun goes down around a Christmas wonderland of lights and then that's the closing at about 10pm unless people want to hangout later!

Rules: you will be kicked out if you don't follow them!
- Family Friendly!
- No Sex, Drugs or Alcohol!
- Everybody MUST bring food, drinks, plates, utensils, charcoal or etc, because its unfair to feed someone who doesn't bring anything to participate! Please Check List to not bring any repeated items such as utensils and stuff, food and drinks is fine!
- You don't need a fursuit to participate, its just a fur meet up to make friends and see old ones!
- If the normals cause drama, don't get involved just ignore them we have every right to be there and have fun, don't give them any reasons
- Also no drama this is a family friendly event, take it else where! If someone attends and you can't stand them either come and be a man about it or not come its seriously simple.
- Cussing is fine just be careful around children that we share the park with!
- Pretty much respect others and be here to have fun! Thank you!

Hi this is the official first journal for the Santa Clarita Fur page! This is I'm here to start this off!

First off, welcome!

Second, I'm throwing a contest for the icon, featured submission, and ID of this page!
Rules are simple! It has to be furry and fit Santa Clarita which is famous for western, movies, ncis, some csi, and historical! This is a more free contest since I can't really afford to give out money so it's more if there's free time! No prizes, just the fun to draw!

Also I'm wondering if anyone has an opinion about if we should have a mascot or not! If so, the last part of the contest is creating our mascot! Thanks!
