The final day of 2021. *whew* What a year, eh? Speaking personally, this year was a big improvement over last year, that's for sure (won't get into details but last year was probably the worst year for me)! This year however? Though there were still some rough spots, especially in the last few months, I've been working my tail off to change and improve myself so I no longer go through these stupidities, including:

+ Focusing on the present day instead of worrying about tomorrow
+ STOP PROCRASTINATING (So many things I want to do and I keep putting them off. No more!)
+ Better my time management

That's not to say 2021 was all doom and gloom for me as there was plenty of highlights! Played many a great games this year like Biomutant (My Game Of The Year) and Cyberpunk 2077 (Yes, I'm really enjoying this game, warts and all), did some catching up on some movies and shows (Masters Of The Universe Revelation was not that bad and I really enjoyed Season 3 of Castlevania..Season 4, not so much), and heard some great albums from some of my favorite bands (Lordi's Lordiversity is friggin' amazing!). Sure, there are still a few games I'd like to get sometime, like Resident Evil Village on Xbox, and there are still a few movies I need to watch (Recently got the Shark King movie aka The Suicide Squad), but hey! I got all next year to get through them...if I don't get distracted by what's on the horizon in terms of media next year *laughs*

Overall? Just want to say that I hope everyone reading this had a great 2021 and I hope you all have a wonderful if not better 2022!

Hello everyone! Your friendly werewolf here! Just checking in to see how everyone is doing this spooky time of the year!

As the title suggest, I am bored right now so, if there is/was anything you ever wanted to ask me, go right ahead!

Hope everyone is having a great summer! Mine's been good, if not warm (PERFECT weather for some Snapple Green Tea...IF MY STORE HAD IT IN STOCK! Seriously, all I ever find at my local grocery store any more is Snapple Peach. While I love Peach Tea, I REALLY wanted their Green Tea xD Come on, folks! Leave some for this wolf, would ya?). Been catching up on some movies I've been meaning to watch like John Wick Chapter 2 (This one disappointed me and I found it to be one of the worst action movies I've seen), Batman: The Killing Joke (I didn't care for the comic but the movie was decent, though I will agree the prologue was unneeded), and Like Father (Cute movie if not a bit predictable at times). However, last Saturday? My Xbox One died on me (Power Brick has power but the console itself just won't boot up or anything) so until I can upgrade to an Xbox Series X? I won't be doing much in the way of gaming like I used to. Sure, I have Steam and the games on there, which I have been playing from time to time lately (Check out Outlaws; a LucasArts developed western FPS with a really cool artstyle), but I'm still a console gamer at heart. That and I recently installed a few games on the system I've been meaning to play again hehe.

Those aside, been doing better then I ever have been (FINALLY figured out the cause of some thoughts that were with me for a LONG time, longer then I care to admit, and been working on fixing that. A wee bit hard but each day it's getting easier to combat)! So, yeah, hope you folks are doing awesome as well!

Couple years ago, I was at my now-defunct local theater (RIP MoviEtown) with my sister, I think we were seeing a Marvel movie, and I had gotten up to use the bathroom (This was before the movie started). As I was walking down the hall, I was looking at the posters and I saw one I had to do a double-take on. It was for the then upcoming movie A HOUSE WITH A CLOCK IN IT'S WALLS....except I didn't see the L and I read it as A HOUSE WITH A COCK IN IT'S WALLS and I was going "Hold up, how the hell are they getting away with *that* movie title?!" Of course, I had a huge laugh then when I realized my mistake but WOW! Talk about misreading a title, eh? I even told my Sister when we were heading up to the concession stand and she just about lost it in laughter as well.

So, E3 has come and gone and...it was decent! Not great, not bad, just decent.

Best Conference - While Nintendo had a strong showing, I really feel Xbox/Bethesda had the best one. So many great games on the horizon, with most coming to Game Pass on Day One, I feel they really knocked it out of the park (though I feel the announcements would've had a bigger reaction if assholes didn't leak them ahead of time).

Worst Conferences - Have three for this one. First is PC Gamer for, while having some interesting games, those "skits" were unfunny. Second is Square Enix for not really having anything too exciting and they spent just a bit too long on the Guardians Of The Galaxy game. Lastly is Capcom for really feeling unneeded.

Best/Most Anticipated Games - Back 4 Blood, The Outer Worlds 2, Metroid Dread (Yes, this actually looks good), The Advance War remake, Rocksmith+, Atomic Heart, Battlefield 2042, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, Project Warlock 2, Dying Light 2 Stay Human

Worst Games - Forza Horizon 5 (I know this is a spin-off but, I'm sorry; this is basically the MTV of Racing Games and shouldn't have the Forza name on it. To me, Forza means racing on OFFICIAL tracks and not trying to perform crazy maneuvers and acting like the Dukes Of Hazard) and Breath Of The Wild 2 (I HATED the first game as it lost what made the Zelda series fun for me - which, admittedly, the series started going downhill when Twilight Princess released - and this one looks like more of the same from the first entry).

Just a bit of a random journal but how is everyone doing? I've personally been working on improving my mental health since last year (Still a work in progress but I am getting better each day!) and working on some side projects, like a novel I've been wanting to do for a while. I also been catching up on some Xbox gaming both current (LOVING Biomutant) and games I missed out on...for the most part as there's still a few titles I'm waiting for a sale to grab, like Civ VI. Otherwise, yeah, how you folks been doing?

Pros:
+ OLD SCHOOL LOLA
+ CG looks really good at times
+ Comedy's on point
+ Nice touch with the 2D area
+ Looks MUCH BETTER than the current Looney Tunes "cartoons" that we've gotten over the past few years

Con:
- CG on certain characters seems off (Especially around the mouths)
- New Lola voice actress? Seriously...why not bring back Kath Soucie to do her voice and not cast someone else?!

In all seriousness? I honestly didn't know Dragoneer didn't fully own FA until today - I was under the assumption that he always did - so I'm curious to see where this leads FA in the future. The ability to change our username is cool (been thinking about tweaking my user name to my current DJ name) and some of the planned features sound cool as well.

Finally had a good dream last night: So the dream began with me at a theme park riding a roller coaster (that had a odd-horror theme to it and I ended up getting stuck on the ride, so I just exited it there) then going over to one awesome looking water slide (Side Note: I actually now recognize this park from two previous dreams). After a bit, I then headed onto a river and, after a "fight" (I think this was part of the attraction or something), I came across a man who gave me the ability to transform into various animals and such, including forming hawk wings on my back, which made me happy (I even folded the wings across my chest as a sort of vest). Most of my dreams usually end up either making zero sense or have me either back in school or in a mall, but this one was awesome and sort of ties in with a silly side of me that would LOVE to be able to do that in real life (the TFing into animals and back into human at will along with forming various animal parts like wings).

Remember when I announced that the Cove Radio was closing it's doors last year in April (Due to a variety of reasons, biggest being the owner never being there and jumping ship to Twitch)? Well, me and one of the other managers have been working behind the scenes since August and we are ready to confirm: The Cove Is COMING BACK...sorta. See, in order to distance ourselves from that station, we are rebranding ourselves as...THE REALM OF ANUBIS RADIO or R.O.A.R.

No date has been set for us going back on the airwaves as of yet but when we are ready, we'll let you know! But it's not just radio we have happening. We'll also be having a new YouTube channel solely dedicated to Game Reviews (something that we used to do on The Cove Radio) so we got something for everyone!

So yeah! Stay tuned!

Yeah, yeah, 2020 was a shit year for everyone, me included. Though it was more or less adding to the years that were already bad for me on a mental level and this year didn't help. It got to the point where I honestly wasn't that pleasant to be around as everything I ever chatted about was those thoughts.

Then came Christmas day and, no joke, that day's Housepets Comic upload. Don't ask me why but what was written on said strip, in combination with what had been going on with me? It all came rushing to a head. In fact, I broke down in front of my mother (who had came to my room to check out my new keyboard) and I just told her everything that was going on these past few years, from mental thoughts including suicide (which I always felt I would never get these thoughts but guess no one is immune to them) briefly to everything else. Honestly? Combination of the strip, me breaking down, and my mom giving me a talk and telling me ways to, well, stop having those thoughts and how to get better (like doing some physical stuff and stop being in front of the computer so much like I am hehe)? It honestly helped as, to this day, I feel better then I ever had before. Sure, I still get those thoughts but I've been working hard at doing what my mom suggested I do and keeping myself occupied with other small projects that it got to the point where those thoughts are now just annoyances more then anything.

So yeah, 2020 might've been a shitty year for a plethora of reasons but hey! At least it's almost done and we can have 2021 to look forward to! I mean, speaking personally, I got PLENTY of big plans for the new year, including doing YouTube game reviews AND bringing back the Cove Radio!

Anyway, see ya 2020 and here's to 2021 being better!
