Posted 5 years agoSo I know I haven't posted here in a while and I'm really sorry about that. After moving a couple months ago, I found I didn't have any space to work in for any sort of digital art, which is why I haven't been able to work on my comics or reopen commissions. I also hurt my wrists, so I gotta be careful about how I use my hands now, but thankfully I'm not in constant pain anymore lol. I'm still trying to figure things out for my work space, plus I'm hoping to move again, but I still do sketchbook stuff and occasionally post art to Twitter and Instagram. Just thought I'd let y'all know what's been going on in the past few months and why I haven't been posting here much.

June Project Update
Posted 5 years agoSo, I've got the thumbnails for this project done, but considering I've got a lot of things going on, I might have to open it before June as it does have to do with paid art. I'm moving soon so... I'm hoping not to open it early cuz I want to make sure I have time for the prep and get it how I want it. No, it's not typical illustration commissions, though those will open in August.

Posted 5 years agoHey, just wanted to let everyone know why I haven't been uploading any art in a while.
For today, it was because of 2 main reasons: going to my place's onsite laundry facility 2x (which took aroun 2-3 hours cuz I'm not leaving my family's laundry alone in a public space even if no one else uses it lol) and because I'd been having a lot of tech issues since last night.
Before today, it had mostly to do with me focusing on getting comic pages done, studying Japanese, and looking after the kids.
I have stuff planned for June, so I'm gonna be working on getting that ready this week. I'm playing a lot of catch up, but once I've caught up a good bit, I'll start posting more art. I just haven't done any outside of my comic and some studies to help level up my skills in some basic stuff.

Commission Terms of Service
Posted 5 years agoDISCLAIMER: This is for illustration based commissions. Other commissions may have a slight change of rules, but most rules will remain the same.Guidelines1) Client must give a minimum of 1 reference photo/picture (ie- character sheet, pose, hairstyle, etc)
2) Client must provide as many details as possible; be clear in what you want.
3) Commissions are for personal use only, client is not to use commissioned pieces for commercial/for profit usage.
4) Client must give credit and may not remove/erase/alter/crop out any signatures or watermarks on the piece. If client crops/edits image in a way where original watermark is not present, the new crop/edit must have clear and readable watermark and credit to the artist.
5) Client must provide an email to send the commission piece to and will recieve both a full resolution copy and a lower resolution copy.
6) Client is purchasing the labor of the artist and the artist retains full rights to the commissioned piece. Artist does NOT retain any rights over the Intellectual Property (IP) depicted unless otherwise stated (ie- client commissions a piece of a character owned by the artist). Artist may use commissioned piece for merchandise sale (ie- stickers, prints, etc) unless client requests otherwise. Artist has full rights to the piece created during commission, but the client has every right to request their commissions featuring their IPs not be sold as merch.
7) Regular communication between the client and artist is to be expected, however it is understandable if delays in communication happen occasionally due to personal circumstances, as in the case of emergencies etc.
8) Anyone under the age of 15 is prohibited from commissioning me, the artist, and anyone under the age of 18 is prohibited from commissioning me for any pin ups or otherwise NSFW content. If age of majority/legal adulthood is higher than 18 in the client's country, then age of majority in the client's country of residence applies instead.
9) When posted online, the artist will give mention to the client, however, the client has every right to request anonymity, wherein the artist will not mention the client by name. If client does not wish the commissioned piece to be posted online (ie- in the case of gifts), they may request the commissioned piece to not be posted online.
10) Client may request up to 3 changes in the commission free of charge, but after the first 3 changes, every change made to the piece will be charged for an extra $3 USD (ie- changes in pose, clothes, hairstyle, etc).
11) Commission contracts are 3 months long unless stated otherwise by the client or artist. After 3 months, the contract for the commission is automatically terminated. Any eligible refunds will be given to the client; please see my refund policy in regards to this.
12) Artist may use images produced by commissions in portfolios, as examples for commission pieces, or any other kind of self promotion.
13) Artist reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time and for any reason, such as client breaking professional conduct or consistent lack of communication.
14) Artist reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

Refund PolicyIn case of termination of the commission contract, a refund may be issued if the commission is eligible for said refund. Refunds are only issued if the piece is less than 75% completed.
If the commission has not been started, a refund of 100% shall be given to the client.
If the commission has been started but is less than 75% done, a refund of 50% shall be given to the client.

Posted 5 years agoI know I just closed my sketch commissions, but tonight I've lost my wallet! It had my debit card, ID, and around $50 cash, which is all my cash besides $6 from tips and money my mom gave me to print stuff out at the library. I've been really freaking out and I don't really know what to do about it other than to open up some low cost commissions to try to recuperate the lost so I can get a new ID and save up money for living expenses (including my monthly bus pass which is $38) and mutual aid (I plan to run errands, split costs, and distribute free essentials to locals in need during the General Strike and the current global health crisis).
Commissions will be $10 USD for flat color headshot icons! Icons will be sent in full resolution (10 in x 10 in, 350 dpi), Twitter icon size (400 pixels x 400 pixels, 200 dpi), and FurAffinity icon size (100 pixels x 100 pixel, 200 dpi) to your preferred email!
Payment will be done via PayPal ONLY!
However, you can also buy me a Ko-Fi or CashApp me $3 or more to get a sketch headshot! You can send as much money as you want, but any CashApp transfer exceeding $3 USD and any Ko-Fi bought qaulifies for a sketch! Posted 6 years agoSo, like I’ve said before, I closed commissions cuz of tech issues. I do still have a tablet I can use, though, and I have something special planned a couple weeks from now. The “special something” is a Winter Season Sketch Sale where I only do sketch commissions and the price is slightly discounted. I’ll put out more info on it soon!
Reasons for Commissions Being Closed
Posted 6 years agoSo, a few days ago, I was going to work on my comics (Boys Love Boys: Demonic Love), when I discovered the cord to my tablet wasn't connecting properly! ToT The cord will connect to my computer, but the pen doesn't work with it.
Wacom doesn't seem to sell replacement cords, though I've had my eye on their wireless accessory kit since I got my tablet. Unfortunately, it's sold out on their site and it's, like, $20 more expensive through Amazon (which is funny cuz the tablet I got from Amazon was $80 while through Wacom it's $100, sooo???).
I don't have the money to get the wireless kit through either source right now, but I am going to see if my old Huion tablet still connects to my computer. While I'm working with that, I won't be taking commissions as the tablet is rather... hmm... I'll say unreliable?? If it does work, I will be working on my comics, though. But commissions won't be open until I can get my Wacom to work. I'm so sorry! I was really upset with this happening cuz I was really looking forward to working on my comics.

For those of you who don't know, I moved into my new apartment back in April and also had some family stuff I had to deal with. As for recent events, I only just recently found my art tablet (it was packed away) and we don't have stable internet at my house (but I'm able to use my phone's Hot Spot no problem).
So, in light of recent events, I will very likely be opening up commissions again soon, as well as just doing more art in general, especially on the computer, and there will be far more uploads than before! Things are looking up and by April everything should be fine again. My living situation is getting, well, situated. I have to make $1200 in a couple of weeks, but spring break is right around the corner so that should be easy and my tax return was nearly $300 so I already have a quarter of what I need.
I’ll still have my emergency pricing up until April so if you want to do some commissions with me, that will be the pricing, but I won’t be doing any commissions March 9-21 because of spring break. I am a server and I’ll be working almost that entire week, so there’s not much time for anything else.
For those of you who’ve spread my art and prices and those of you who followed me, thank you so much for the support! Even though I didn’t get any commissions, just the fact that people are trying to help me and my family and people like my work means a lot.
