I have to say it was a good year.

Made it to a few cons and I feel I made my mark on FCN. The furry cruise was great. If you can do it, DO IT! and as always I love WPAFW.

Paid off a car that I think I am going to have to replace soon. Currently at 167,000 miles and it is showing. The cheap little Chevy was a good car.

I have just about moved the partner in. He still has an apartment that he sees about once a month.

There are many people I met this year that I am very happy to count among my friends now.

Yup it was a good year. Now, to all my new and old friends, lets see if we can make 2012 better.

Hide & Seek

I have been working crazy hours on top of my other activities for about a month or longer.

Enough! well ok in 2 day enough. Time then for some holidays a business trip and the Furry Cruise. I can't wait to be on a ship in the ocean. Sun and fun in Dec. I love it.

I hate asking but I am working with a Charity that needs a Logo.

Ok the weather sucked but I got a little bit of suiting in. I did like the fact that it was colder but I could have done without the rain.

Uh, what else?? Made at least one new friend. I exposed some people to Primanti Bros.
Oh and I won way more stuff in the charity thingy than I should have. Even something I swear I didnt put any tickets in.

Other than that it has been work travel here and there. I might get to go to France next month.

Ok I wasn't sure I was going to be able to make AC until now. Now I can't find a hotel room anywhere near the convention.

Ok for now I am going to keep this very short so if I don't mention you please don't feel slighted.

Got there thursday after work and then it was set up time. I ended up kinda running pre-reg pickup.

Friday: coffee, penn state furs (wtf early in the am), time to run con stuff, charity gets there and wow. Later that day, some dancing and some light drinking. Oh and running into tons of peeps i know and running off to deal with stuff.

Sat: charity panel and more money for them. they were having fun. oh and a parade that everyone loved. uh uh more friends and new people. later the Eurofurence charity person tracked me down. I wish I had more time to talk to her and caught that beer with her. So nice. I will have to make it there at some point. later poker tourney and then i went on stage to see Rok DJ and all I can say in DAMN that was good. ok time for sleep.

Sunday: more charity time, auction that thanks to Kage went very well. (it was 75% him 24% the donations and the other) later we totaled the amount we had collected and another wow (I told very few till later) then time for the big show. The closing went wonderful. We shocked the Greyhound group with more money than they imagined they would be getting and it went so well. BTW they also loved us and I suspect will come back next year just to have fun.

So there is this video game that looks to be designed just for the fuzzy bunch of us. It requires some new hardware for a game system.

Ok I just saw what I consider the 2nd worst badge engineered car to date. (Badge engineering question read below (ok maybe a few options))

A Cadillac Cimarron. what a POS. It is a cavalier with about 2x the price and a Cadillac badge.


Now I can think of one other i consider worse and one the is about to be (if not already being made) that is worse. I will mention those later if i get any responses.


Badge engineering is where a company takes one car slaps another badge on it and makes it another car. This can go well or it can go bad... very bad

examples (not all bad)

Chevy Aveo = Pontiac G3
Opel Omega = Cadillac Catera
VW Jetta = Audi A3 (well the wagon)
All Mercury cars and suvs
and so on

For those who want to know here it is

I got there and checked in then walked the strip.
I also learned 2 things:
1) don't stay at circus circus
2) don't walk the whole strip, take the bus

Ok day 2: I found Fremont street if you go to Vegas go there. I also just checked out the main strip. There is fun stuff and porn ads everywhere. Oh and i found out everything is expensive. Also, found In and Out Burger. A double double is a must if there isn't one anywhere near your home. Also did some uh other shopping. That is also everywhere. Got my pic with $1,000,000.00 for free and lost the bulk of what i lost waiting for the pic. Good game Binions.

Day 3: Tried more gambling lost a few dollars and got a few free drinks. $1 tables = cheap drinks. Later that day I hit Fremont again this time in foot paws and tail. Pics will be posted. This place needs fursuiters. I was loved all over and the ladies wanted to play with my tail.

Day 4: the bride and mother of the bride showed up. They didn't want to hear anything i had to say. They knew it all better than me. Fine, I can do my own thing. They did follow me to what has to be the best buffet ever. The Wynn rules! Oh also found a place with cask ale. Good stuff try it.

Day 5: I was still there... too long? Maybe. More Vegas with the family, something I don't recommend.

Day 6: Wedding day after dinner I was done. Off to bed.

Day 7: Ok here way way too long now. The only highlight was Cirque du Soleil Mystere. WOW what a show. Dance, gymnastics, and showmanship all top notch. I loved the red bird.

The show was great and there is much to see, but 7 days was too much and never NEVER go to Circus Circus for any reason.
