NEOWISE Comet
Posted 5 years agoWe've finally gotten a clear night and a pair of binoculars to see the comet. I gotta say; it's amazing to see. The 25th might be your last chance to see it if you haven't already! Check it out if you can! You'll have to live another 6,800 years to see it again!

SGDQ is On!
Posted 6 years agoSGDQ is live again! A whole week on non-stop speed running of games (No, I'm not sponsored ;). If you've got Twitch Prime you can sub to their channel and help out the charity Doctor's Without Borders (or something like that... you guys probably know how Twitch works better than I do.)
Super fun to watch the speed runners, amazing cause and great to see so many people donating. Check it out if you're stuck at a desk job; I know it's what I'll be watching this week as I work!

Edit: They actually have a mascot this year! https://twitter.com/GamesDoneQuick/.....29668338417664

Happy New Year!
Posted 6 years agoHappy New Year everyone! I hope you're spending the start of 2019 safe, happily and with people you care about.
2018 was a crazy year for a lot of people, myself included. A lot of new challenges; a lot of old ones cropping up again and the ever increasing realization that as you get older, the world gets tougher, and your body isn't as young as it used to be. Or maybe that's just the flu talking.
I'm really looking forward to what 2019 can bring; first and foremost this will be the year I finish No Harm No Fowl (IMPOSSIBLE, I know!). I'm really excited to get a conclusion on this story as it's been so fantastic having so many people read it and follow along with Devon and Addison. Thanks for taking the time to read our stories and works, for supporting them and making them a reality. It really means so much.
But perhaps what's even more exciting (for me at least) is being able to finally re-organize my work schedule to be healthier, more productive and start on older stories that have been in the eaves for far too long now. The idea box has only been growing while NHNF has been worked on, and I can't wait to tackle some of these stories we've got here.
It's my hope that by the summer I'll be able to do as such.
Thanks so much for stickin' with me through all these years; through different r34 fandoms and phases, through kobolds and incestuous dragons, and through forbidden romances between birbs and dawgs.
Hoping for the best this year for all of you. Happy 2019!

No Advents this year.
Posted 8 years agoHey guys,
I just wanted to go ahead and make a journal now in regards to Advent commissions this year. Long story short: I won't be doing them this year.
This year's been pretty rough for me and I know I'm not going to be able to handle the increased workload and time crunch that comes with the Advent Commissions. It seems to be tradition that I do them once every two years, and this year is keeping with that tradition.
As an aside, I am down with the flu. I seem to have more notes than usual at the moment, so if I haven't responded to your note yet, I probably won't for at least another week as I try and recover but still meet my work deadlines.
Apologies to anyone looking forward to Advent Commissions this year.

Notice: Advent Commissions and No Harm No Fowl
Posted 8 years agoAbout three days ago I contracted a case of the plague. I have attempted to work through my illness, but today the symptoms have become too severe for me to continue.
Unfortunately, this means that there will be a delay with the remaining Advent Commissions and potentially with the next page of No Harm No Fowl.
I apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment, and will hopefully be able to resume work and correspondence within the next few days.

Advent: Weather Warning
Posted 9 years agoJust wanted to give a heads up in regards to the Advent Commissions; I've got a wind warning and a snow warning for my area. On the off-chance the power goes out for a day or two because of it, I just wanted to forewarn anyone in case it prevents me from posting.
If nothing comes of the weather: great! I'll end up deleting this journal after it's blown over either way.
Thanks!

Advent Commissions *Closed*
Posted 9 years agoEdit 3: Thank you very much everyone! The winners have been responded to with the appropriate information. My apologies to those that didn't get in this year. I do greatly appreciate your interest!
Edit 2: Closed now. Thank you very much everyone, I'll try and let the winners know as soon as I can!
Edit: Journal may close an hour or two after the 24 hour mark as a heads up, in case I'm late getting back home.
It's that time of the year again; Advent Commission time! These are a little bit different from regular commissions, so please read below for details.
What is it?
The Advent Commissions are christmas themed commissions that are uploaded randomly from December 1st to December 25th (one per day). In addition to being Christmas themed, there will also be eight pieces that will have a reindeer stop by to do naughty or nice things with the characters in them.
Finally, the individual who happens to get the 25th as their upload day will get two pictures instead of just one. However! This is changing slightly from last time. Instead of both pictures being uploaded on the 25th, I'll be contacting the winner of this day for a more specific detailing on what they'd like for their second picture. Character limit will be restricted to their initial purchase, but will include a reindeer.
How much? Examples!
This year you can choose between a one character colour piece or a two character colour piece.
Single Character Colour - $60
Two Character Colour - $100
Example - Example
There is a catch though...
Slots are NOT first come, first served. This journal will be open for people to express their interest for 24 hours, after which no more people will be considered. Everyone will be assigned a number, and a random number generator will then be used to select 25 people to fill the 25 available slots.
Please only say you're interested once. Posting twice, or on multiple sites will still only get you one chance.
The days that people will get (and their chance to get a reindeer) are also random, and will again use RNG.
There will be no preliminary sketches and images come 'as is' unless of course I make a mistake with your character. In the event that I have made a mistake with your character, changes will be made after the 30th of December, but only if it was a detail you clearly showed or explained in your reference material that I've missed.
If you don't like the idea of your character potentially being paired with a random reindeer or you like having a strong say in what is drawn, please don't sign up.
If you get one of the 25 slots I will respond to your comment with a link to a form to fill out so you can send along reference and any other important information. This is the time to make sure your character's details are correct. If there are any particularly important features to your character that may not be completely clear or consistent between reference pictures, please point them out now.
I'll be using paypal's invoice system for this. Please also note this year I have a zero-tolerance for Paypal notes. Just don't do them please. You can contact me in any other format.
There is a payment deadline of November 29th. If your payment isn't received before the 29th then you will lose your slot, and it will be given to someone else.
Anything else to know?
Since it's been asked in previous years; Yes! If you'd like to do a character created by myself or Otterface, you're certainly welcome to (Kindle, Lexi, Thistle etc etc). Just not our fursonas.
Full resolution images will most likely not be sent until after all the advent commissions are done, or around the 30th of December.
Please comment below with "REINDEER ROCK" so that I know you'd like to be considered for a slot.
Any other questions or comments, I'll do my best to respond accordingly!
Thanks everyone for your interest!

Advent stuff sometime this week
Posted 9 years agoJust wanted to give a heads up, I'm gonna try and get the advent form and journal posted up this week. Probably in a day or two? NOT first come first serve; it's gonna be RNG again. The form'll probably be up for about 24 hours or so for anyone that wants in on that. Sorry it's not gonna be longer than that; I left things a bit late this time trying to get december's pages done ahead of time. Actual info and stuff when I post the real journal!
Nice, France - Please stay safe.
Posted 9 years agoI imagine no one from Nice is on FA right now, but please, please stay safe. I don't even know what to say beyond that. Please stay safe. Please be okay.
Apologies, no Advent Commissions this year.
Posted 10 years agoAs the title says, I've unfortunately come to the decision I can't take on Advent Commissions this year. I really do apologize about that, they're always fun to do and time sensitive. This year is proving to be a difficult one, and I don't think I'll be able to slot in enough time to get everything done (without also imploding along the way).
With that being said, I might see if I can possibly do some sort of Iron Artist thing should life be a little more forgiving from what I'm expecting it to be perhaps in the new year. No guarantees; just putting that out there.
Also, as another aside, to anyone currently waiting on a response or note (or intends to inquire on anything in the next week or two) it may take me a while longer to respond.

Manga Studio Users:Do you know of any file recovery options?
Posted 10 years agoThought I'd take a stab and ask since looking it up has come up with nothing.
Any Manga Studio/Clip Studio users know if there's some sort of file recovery feature or option? My ctrl+s instincts failed me tonight. The file wasn't saved at any point, so it's not showing up in the DocumentBackup folder.
I have a feeling there isn't any, but doesn't hurt to ask.
(There were so many good drawings of Vera too. Vera drenched in cum. Vera being lesbians with Thistle. All gone.)

Bitcoin Users: How do you get your bitcoins?
Posted 10 years agoHey guys,
I just wanted to take a moment and ask those of you with bitcoins: How did you get them? Which sites do you trust, or did you go about it another way? Also, if you don't mind divulging, are you US based (I ask, as I find a lot of services are limited to US only)?
When I got some bitcoins to try the whole thing out I got them from an ABM, and did this little song and dance routine to get them in to my wallet (not literally). Nothing too overly complicated with a little bit of google researching, but if I wanted to put together a sort of cheat sheet on how to go about getting bitcoins, I'd definitely include a step-by-step.

Paypal Update [Update III]
Posted 10 years agoEdit: Updates are at the bottom of the journal!
So a lot of people have commented on the previous paypal journal, which is super cool that people are active and invested in the issue. I'm really appreciative of opinions on varying points, and that others are investigating further.
We've also investigated further, with otterface having contacted a manager at Paypal to ask some questions and get answers for the concerns relating to Paypal's Services, the ToS, and AUP. We've got some corrections to what we previously believed. He had to call several times to find someone that was even aware of some of the issues we were concerned about, let alone be able to correctly interpret the ToS and AUP. Most of the customer service representatives we talked to before being put in touch with a manager did not understand the wording and legalese in the ToS and AUP. So, for anyone contacting about this situation for themselves, we might advise you to try and work your way up the ladder for a better answer.
What information we got was over the phone, so of course everything here will be paraphrased. This is not a definitive list in regards to Paypal. If you have a concern you should, of course, contact them directly and not just take our word on the matter based off of what we were told.
1) The $2,500 US Fine for AUP Violations
Does it exist? Yes. Does it apply to all AUP Violations? No. Despite the ToS stating otherwise, the information we got from the Paypal representative was that this fine is in relation primarily to the OFAC Rule. So, basically, illegal gambling, money laundering etc. In regards to specifically "certain sexually oriented materials or services", what it mainly pertains to is human trafficking and prostitution.
2) What else falls under "certain sexually oriented materials or services"?
This is a grey area, according to the representative, however what might also fall under this category would be photographic pornography and certain types of drawn pornography as well as dating services.
Otterface specifically asked in regards to the furry fandom, at which point the manager had to talk to yet another higher-up to get clarification. What we were then told was that tentatively most drawn pornography that is not "extreme" would be okay to sell through Paypal. But because furries are anthropomorphic animals it can potentially fall under a grey area where they might consider the artwork to be bestiality. We were provided an e-mail address that is a direct line to the the department that makes the decision as to whether or not content is appropriate for sale through Paypal, and were told that you can contact them with the artwork you're looking to sell in question and they will come back to you with a decision. How this may apply to commissions that have not been drawn as of yet, I do not know. Most likely, if you're following the rules and you're being smart and discreet, you won't run in to any trouble. Our AUP violations weren't for commissions, but rather selling a digital portfolio.
The e-mail address provided was AUP[at]paypal.com
For general questions, service[at]paypal.com was also provided.
3) Sending payments for services as gifts
First and foremost, is receiving payment for a service as a gift against the AUP? Yes. Will it instigate an action of the $2,500 fine? No (according to the representative).
We asked what would happen if someone was doing this and were told that, if you're caught you will be asked to cease doing that. If you persist your account will be closed, and your funds held.
But what if a client sends the payment as a gift instead of a service? If this is the case, the representative advised that you immediately refund the gift and send an invoice to the client instead.
In the event that you do have your account closed for avoiding paying fees and then try and circumvent Paypal by creating another account, or any other way of circumventing their decision in relation to your previous account, then at that point you may be at risk of being subject to the $2,500 fine.
4) Making your customers pay the fee
We asked about this as well, and if you're doing this then you're straight up in the wrong. This is not allowed, period. You will most likely be looking at account closure and funds being held if you're caught. You may be warned to cut that shit out first though.
5) Disputes regarding digital goods and services
In the event of a paypal dispute over delivered digital goods or services, there is currently no way to prove those products have been delivered. The representative said that a digital goods protection policy is being put in to place, and that there should be more information about it after July 2nd.
6) Other ways to circumvent the system
One additional thing we'd noticed in the community or similar communities in the same vein as ours, was using something like a "token" or "key" to be purchased instead of the actual product. So, for example, 'buy this token, then exchange it for this adult art pack' or 'buy this token then receive a password to access the special adult artwork' etc etc. We wanted to know if this was considered circumventing Paypal's policies, and the answer we received was 'Yes, it was'. So if you're doing that, then you should be aware that you haven't found a loophole in the system, and you may be at risk of action should you be caught.
This is more-or-less the sum of the information received from the representative talked to. To those of you still worried about the $2,500 fine, it should be noted that it does actually exist in the current ToS (the one last updated on May 1, 2015), so if you're using Paypal now then you've already agreed to it and have most likely been using the account while under its effects. Most likely, though, it won't be something you'll ever have to worry about (unless you're a crime lord).
Hopefully this will help relieve some concerns in regards to those using Paypal.
Another informative journal by
Spix can be found here, who also contacted a representative to get information: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6740803/
Now, the whole reason we mentioned previously not planning to use Paypal in the future isn't purely because of the wildfire and rumours going around about the fines, it was because we actually had actions taken against us. According to what the representative said, I would think that the products we got actioned for actually fall in line with everything she told us. So while I think that, overall, the information given here is good news for those that wish to continue to use Paypal, it still seems to be fairly unpredictable whether or not your adult content will abide by their rulings. At the very least, though, you won't be fined $2,500.
Update II: A few other people have been reaching out to Paypal inquiring on concerns (which I think is awesome). Biscuits appears to have specifically inquired on the $2,500 fine. The information Biscuits received is in conflict with the information we received. Please check out his journal for more information on what he heard from his Paypal representative: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6740786/
It may be that.... everyone is getting a different answer depending on their representative, or perhaps that those lower on the customer service totem pole are using their best judgement to interpret the AUP as best as possible.
Update III: Dahan pointed out a really good piece of information that Paypal has stated in writing in regards to the sale of sexually orientated material and what that means for digital sales of such content through their services. An excerpt from his link:
We don’t permit PayPal account holders to buy or sell:
Sexually oriented digital goods or content delivered through a digital medium. Downloadable pictures or videos and website subscriptions are examples of digital goods.
Sexually oriented goods or services that involve, or appear to involve, minors.
Services whose purpose is to facilitate meetings for sexually oriented activities.
Now what's interesting to me is that they say "buy or sell", which implies to me that both parties could potentially be held accountable. That's purely my interpretation and speculation though.
I also wanted to reiterate a point that Iruka mentioned in regards to what's been said here, which is that even though various representative have stated that certain things only apply in certain ways (ie. the fine applies to primarily the OFAC Rule), the ToS and AUP you agree to still gives them the ability to apply it to more than that, and you should keep that in mind. What a representative says, and what you legally agree to can be two totally different things.
So a lot of people have commented on the previous paypal journal, which is super cool that people are active and invested in the issue. I'm really appreciative of opinions on varying points, and that others are investigating further.

Why I won't be touching Paypal after July 1st
Posted 10 years agoEdit: New Journal here with waaaaaaay better information: www.furaffinity.net/journal/6741659/
I'm sure a lot of you have heard about the Paypal AUP and ToS change that's taking affect on July 1st. There was a lot of hype about the potential rights of IP being given to paypal, and while I still think it's really important to be aware of, it's been more-or-less debunked from what people were originally concerned about (Look it up on tumblr or preferably a more reputable source. I'm sure you'll find something about it, if you're curious).
But that's not what this is about. Actually, since the loss of the storefront, and having had to cease using paypal in conjunction with it, it's kind of not even really a thing for me right now, but it may affect others, so I'm mentioning it as such.
There's another change in the ToS that I haven't seen mentioned in the community as of yet, and that's about the ability of Paypal to fine you per AUP violation. By using paypal after July 1st and agreeing to their updated ToS, you will be agreeing that paying $2,500 USD minimum per AUP violation is reasonable.
Exert from the ToS:
10.3 Actions by PayPal - Restricted Activities. If PayPal, in its sole discretion, believes that you may have engaged in any Restricted Activities, we may take various actions to protect PayPal, other Users, other third parties, or you from Reversals, Chargebacks, Claims, fees, fines, penalties and any other liability. The actions we may take include but are not limited to the following:
...
h. If you violate the PayPal Acceptable Use Policy, then in addition to the above actions you will be liable to PayPal for the amount of PayPal's damages caused by your violation of the Acceptable Use Policy. You acknowledge and agree that $2,500.00 USD per violation of the Acceptable Use Policy is presently a reasonable minimum estimate of PayPal's actual damages considering all currently existing circumstances, including the relationship of the sum to the range of harm to PayPal that reasonably could be anticipated because, due to the nature of the violations of the Acceptable Use Policy, actual damages would be impractical or extremely difficult to calculate. PayPal may deduct such damages directly from any existing Balance in the offending Account or any other Account you control.
I know a lot of artists skirt under the radar with Paypal, and it's worked pretty well for most.. not so well for others. Should you choose to continue to use Paypal, I think it's important you keep that particular ToS change in mind. Because accepting a payment as a "gift" and not a "service" is a violation if you're selling work. As well, "(i) certain sexually oriented materials or services" is also considered a violation.
When Paypal contacted my about my AUP violation, they cited three different instances, which would have been $7,500 had the new ToS been in effect. That is a shit ton of money and that's just the minimum they could have charged me. That's not something I can afford.
For that reason, after July 1st, I won't be touching Paypal for any adult-orientated work of any kind. It's just not worth it to me. Instead, for things like the Advent Sketches, I may look in to using bitcoins or perhaps Squarecash instead.
Interestingly, though, Paypal seems to be opening up in regards to other "high risk" businesses, as an example e-cigarettes, and seems to be adopting a pre-approval program for them. While that doesn't include porn presently, maybe it's a step in the right direction.

Store & Family Matters Update
Posted 10 years agoHey Guys,
So a few days ago we had to remove our store products due to paypal limiting the account in connection with it. It's an unfortunate turn of events for us, and has a couple of consequences for anyone interested in the projects otterface and I have been working on, which I'll get in to now!
If you're interested in any of our previously produced products, first up thank you for your interest! The support we've received from our art packs and portfolios has meant so much to us and kept a roof over our heads. Unfortunately we have no means of selling these for the time being, so they'll be unavailable until further notice.
This also means that we can't accept anymore funding for Family Matters in the way we were before. We currently don't have a solution for this, but we have a couple of options to consider that we'll be looking in to. There were a few pages that had been funded prior to the limitation, so they'll still be completed as promised.
This brings up an interesting issue, however; the problem of funding adult works in an ecommerce community that ultimately doesn't support it easily. Interestingly, even options like CCbill have limitations in what they'll allow. To name a few keywords: rape, incest, and bestiality.
For those of you who have watched my account for a while, you probably know I don't really take much issue when it comes to "taboo" topics such as these. I don't really put myself out there with a solid stance on things, but ultimately for me, it comes down to "Like whatever you want to like in fantasy. I'm not gonna judge you for liking something in your head." Of course this doesn't mean I support any of the topics I might draw in reality. I hope this doesn't need to be said more than once.
For now our priority is to complete the work we've promised. Family Matters will still be getting its two page update this week, and we'll be honouring the partially funded 26th page, allowing for two pages for the next week. How will pages proceed after that? I don't have an answer for you yet. Hopefully within two weeks we'll be closer to back on our feet, and will have a more solid answer then.
If anyone happens to have any potential suggestions that don't violate the payment providers TOS or AUP, then we'd love to hear about it!
Thanks for your understanding!

Webhosting Suggestions?
Posted 10 years agoHey guys~
I have reached the point where I'm going to need to purchase some web space in the near future, and I was curious if anyone had any suggestions or experiences with their providers they'd be willing to share.
I know of Amazon S3 and Bluehost, and while I've had good experiences with bluehost in the past I need something that allows adult content.. And unless I'm mistaken neither of those allow it (Although with Amazon it just seems like one big joke considering the sheer volume of adult sites they're aware of that use their service).
So with that said, what do you use? Any issues you've noticed, and would you recommend them to someone else?
Thanks~!

Advent Sketches - [CLOSED]
Posted 11 years agoEdit: Closed now; thanks everyone! Should have the RNG results by tomorrow.
It's that time of the year again; Advent Sketch time! Or more appropriately half a month before Advent Sketch time, but I'm sure most of you are familiar with how it works.
For those that don't though, and since a couple of thing may have changed from previous years, please read below for the details of this year's Advent Sketches (I don't know why I keep calling them sketches)!
What is it?
The Advent Sketches are christmas themed commissions that are uploaded randomly from December 1st to December 25th (one per day). In addition to being Christmas themed, there will also be eight pieces that will have a reindeer stop by to do naughty or nice things with the characters in them. Finally, the individual who happens to get the 25th as their upload day will get two pictures instead of just one.
How much? Examples!
This year you can choose between a one character colour piece or a two character colour piece.
Single Character Colour - $50
Two Character Colour - $90
Example - Example
There is a catch though...
Slots are NOT first come, first served. The journal will be open for people to express their interest for 24 hours, after which no more people will be considered.
In the event that I have made a mistake with your character, changes will be made after the 27th of December, but only if it was a detail you clearly showed or explained in your reference material and only up to my usual limit on changes.
There is a payment deadline of November 18th so that I have buffer time to start working and organizing. If your payment isn't received before the 18th then you will lose your slot, and it will be given to someone else.
Anything else to know?
Since it's been asked in previous years; Yes! If you'd like to do a character created by myself or Otterface, you're certainly welcome to (Kindle, Lexi, Thistle etc etc). Just not our fursonas.
Full resolution images will most likely not be sent until after all the advent sketches are done, or around the 27th of December.
Please comment below with "REINDEERS ARE RAD" so that I know you'd like to be considered for a slot.
Any other questions or comments, I'll do my best to respond accordingly!

This is super tempting. Especially with being able to add in your own 3D models. You could make your own fursona... or just be Doge.
Plus, just like... this dude: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9-0tvvDloA

A Wildstar Note
Posted 11 years ago^_^ The last thing the game needs is tards like you ruining it. Go back to WoW's septic tank of a community and ruin that.
Stay where you belong please. ^_^ WoD is coming just for you people.
I'm not sure what motivates an individual to send a note like this, usually I ignore it and go on with my day. But everytime I enter a new community I tend to get a response like this if it involves any type of porn. At least I'm assuming it's porn. They make no mention that the actual porn I've drawn of Wildstar is the problem. Maybe they take issue with how I draw the Warpig, or the armor, or the chua's whiskers just aren't quite good enough... truthfully, I don't know. But it almost always comes down to porn. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't normally consider porn to be something that will 'ruin' something else. I have my fandoms or shows that I enjoy without involving porn, but I certainly don't go out of my way to harass other people if they draw it, let alone tell them what they can, and can not do.
If you're looking at the porn I draw I'm assuming you're of legal age, which also makes me assume you're an adult. If you feel unfit of being an adult, and unable to hit the 'unwatch' button, or refrain yourself from looking something up that you do not enjoy, I'll gladly block your account from mine if you would like. I don't have a problem doing this. Likewise, if you do not enjoy my works, you can also block me from your account.
The note system is there to privately contact someone, but it's not there for individuals to be privately harassed. Please refrain from doing so in the future; I'll probably just block individuals like this in the future to save them the trauma of having to view whatever aspect of my art that bothers them. Also, please be aware that notes like these usually motivate me to draw more of that content you're asking me not to draw (I totally have more Chua porn to upload).

There are No Hyenas in this comic Info Post!
Posted 11 years agoWhat is it?
A comic. Without Hyenas. Not to say hyenas aren't cool; there just didn't happen to be any in the comic.
What's it about?
Tiger Dude. Also named Brandon. To be more specific it's a male-orientated comic about Brandon and his adventure in a photo booth that takes him to the land of leprechauns (part of this sentence was a lie). I don't think there's a single female in the comic other than background characters. Because of the background characters though we couldn't title it 'There are no Females in this comic'.
Is it.. FREE?
Hopefully. The short version is I can't afford to do 'free', let alone for a whole comic. I plan to release support packs with extra sketches and other stuff for anyone wanting to support the comic. This might change, it might not. I can't offer a solid promise on this.
How often will it update?
Ideally, once a week. It'll probably take 9-12 months for the whole thing to be posted like that though, as it's around 30-50 pages. In contrast, if I could upload once a day it'd probably be all uploaded in under two months!
I'd like to link the options for additional uploads in a week to the support packs, possibly. As a thank you for X amount of support, it'd be cool to upload more pages in a week. But we'll see how it works out.
Is there porn in it?
Yes, but I say that with some reluctance. It takes about 30 pages to get to any type of nudity (actually, exactly 30 pages judging by the thumbnails). There's more a leniency towards progressing story than there is with porn for no reason at all. This story wasn't created with the intent for a fast fuck, so the content and pacing should reflects it as such. Hopefully there'll be enough of a pay off at the end to keep people satisfied, though.
Why this comic and not one of the *other* comics?
I do have a lot of roughs done for Brynne, and the otter girl comic. Why this one instead? Mainly because it's a one-shot, and not a prolonged series or story I want to delve in to more. We've always wanted Brynne to have multiple adventures and escapades, and I probably couldn't convince otterface to never touch the otter girl again, so No Hyenas is my testing ground for comics and getting over that barrier that comics tend to present to me.
What about the FF comics?
The FF comics were always intended to be 'in our spare time' types of things. Believe it or not, having this particular comic running is more of a constant reminder to get more FF pages out. I'd like to get another Family Matters page out sometime this month. Maybe even two *Gaaaaasssp*!
What else is there to know?
I'll most likely be marking the pages as adult or mature soon regardless of whether or not that submission contains adult content specifically. Based on feedback from admins, since the work is intended for adults, that's the appropriate course of action and one I agree with. I feel like an asshole leading on the non-adult interested folks and then cutting them off, and I also feel like an asshole marking non-blatant adult content as adult, but the latter of the two is preferable.
So no clean comic then?
I actually have a clean comic with wolves I was thumb-nailing out. I think it looks like a lot of fun, but I don't know when I'll get the time to work on it. Not soon.
Why not use one of the crowd funding sites?
Since I haven't put out a full comic yet that people can read, I don't feel comfortable giving people the option to support something they don't fully know what it is. I feel like the adult comics in the community usually get to the porn in 5 pages or less, and this one doesn't fit the mold. I don't want people to be disappointed in what they're getting or have misconceptions of what it is based on other things in the community. I might look in to these next time, or for other projects, but not this time around.
... Hyenas?
Maybe I can get some hyenas drawings in the gallery at some point!
Hopefully that'll help clear some things up. Thanks for any interest in the story, and hopefully it'll be fun to read!

20 mins left, less than $500 until their next goal. JUST IN CASE THIS IS YOUR THING, I'm just gonna put this journal here.
That's all. (I think there might be a wolf in it? I'm not sure. Wolf. Maybe. Wolf with Magic? Magic Wolf? I DO NOT KNOW.)
Edit: YYEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

If you're using the internet, then this concerns you.

Can't afford to pay for access to youtube? Too bad I guess. You don't get access to that part of the internet anymore with your service provider because they can keep you from getting that now. Hell, they might just not even offer certain sites all together.
"Worst case" scenarios aside, this is kind of a big deal.
I'm still reading up on it, so what our options are to fight this is... something I'm not sure of yet. But seeing as no one I watch has even mentioned this yet, it seemed kind of a big deal to at least get the word out.
If you have more information on it, it'd be cool if you left a link. I'll read it.
