Yes, I know, I could have sketched out the artwork and had them done a while back, but i'm not a firm believer in "You get what you pay for". More of "you get what you're promised"
I promised, via visual medium, avatars based of sketches done to the best of my ability, not based off shoddy crap that I spew out when ill. As such, the avatars are on hold for now, at least untill I stop waking up at 3am coughing.

Posted 14 years agoSo... It's been about a year since I came on here to do little more than occasionally check Renard_V, Colson and FoxAmore's stuff and, well... A lot has changed. I've changed. I've grown up in the past year or so, probably closer to 2, and, well... It's strange. Back when I was 18, the last time I was here, I didn't really give two fucks who I offended, and I was staunch in my belief that, well... I was better than everyone else. I'll not get into the specifics, but I had a fucked up life. Not that I'm blaming that for my actions, It's just... It is a major factor in the way I acted.
I bet you're thinking, if you got this far, "If there's a point, make it already". I will.
First off, I suppose I should say that it was stupid of me to say that the whole fandom is a large collection of sexual deviants and mentally deficient assholes. I'd apologise, but pride is a terrible sin and one that I suffer from. Back when I was 18, I didn't really know many people from the fandom. Just, you know, the cretins you find on the internet because they're popular for all the wrong reasons. The ones who bitch about this imaginary fursecution, the ones who whore themselves out with porn for a living when they have the talent to do so much more than that, the ones who thrust furry down everyone's throat like it's some form of denomination of Christianity... All the things which irritated me about, well, life.
Secondly, I came back here because, well... I'm an artist. I don't want fame or money. Fame would annoy me and money would be nice but it can't buy happiness. I came back to FA because it's a website to upload art to, and it's my decision what I upload, just as it's every other user's decision to decide what they upload. I was an angry person back then, but things change. People change. Relationships change. The love of my life is asleep little more than 7 feet away from me, snoring in his cute, half-assed way, and it's the little things like that which have made me realise that there's more to life than being a prick, just because I was dealt a bad hand.
I won't lie and say I missed FA. To be honest, my return was a spur of the moment thing, because my boyfriend showed me a song that Fox Amore had done, and I remembered... Hang on, that guy watched me. I guess it's that recognition that made me come back. After all, who doesn't want to be recognised?
So it's half past midnight that I'm writing this, listening to nothing but Tsubaki_Ookami's adorable little snores- as much as they almost sound like something from the grudge- smiling to myself like a twit, thinking "Life is what I make it, and I don't want to end up being the guy that pushes away everything that has ever meant anything to me", and surprisingly enough, as much as I've had a love hate relationship with the fandom, It has helped me through some tough times, be it through the people, or just that sense of one-ness and belonging.
So what if FA is a porn dump? Who cares? I don't. Not anymore. I have what I need in life. I have someone who loves me, and means the world to me. I have my art. I have my fandom which, since I've been with Mr. Ookami, I've made a fair few friends in. So... For all of you who were hoping I was gone for good, I'm sorry. For all you that have missed me, well... I doubt I'll be going anywhere any time soon.

Furaffinity kinda sucks. Hard. The novelty wore off about, tch... A month or 2 ago? And I've only just got round to waving this porn dump goodbye, because I've been busy trying to improve my self, both as a person and artistically.
I was slightly amused when i was first bullied into joining by a friend, who's username I forget EVERY time, because it was an art site dedicated to art of the anthropomorphic kind. Or furries for you less literate ones. But, the novelty wore off when I realized "Wait a second... This is just a place for ego-starved people to dump their porn and get momentary boosts to their morale by people yiffing in the comments of their often badly drawn 'art'".
Then it got old checking the 30+ journals >9000 porn pictures. So i gave up. Right now, i have 245 messages. I may sift through them for music done by Colson, Renard_v and FoxAmore because, to be honest, they soon became the reason i actually checked my page every once in a blue moon.
Then that got old too.
