Mine, Jackpot, is a bit of a scatterbrain. She's a "jack of all trades" and has about a dozen careers all in trades. She lives in an "organized mess" with her pet piggy Cookie-dough.

Lionheart is a neat and organized businessman. He definitely doesn't have time for nonsensical messes or trying lots of new hobbies. He lives next door to Jackpot and their houses are polar opposite even on the outside. Lionheart's pet has not been decided yet.

Okay, there are three major characters I need in my little character world. I'm having issues coming up with a good design, so... Contest it is!

Characters I need?:

Spoiled Bunny Girl Heiress:
Needs to be petite and very, very short, like 4'9"-4'11" at the tallest
She's an heiress so she's from good breeding
I'd prefer unusual eye colors
Accessories are welcome
She's temperamental and very self entitled

Feral Dragon:
Must be male
Can be portrayed as a baby dragon in the entry
I'm making the counterpart for whoever/whichever dragon design wins, but two personalities to choose from: dominant and sly and sarcastic OR reserved, soft hearted, and a bit shy
Metallic or DnD inspired dragons more than welcome

Neko Boy:
Prefer a lean or feminine body
Unusual eyes and unique ear and tail pattern preferred

I'm still adjusting to this new medication and how groggy and sleepy it's making me, but I managed to get a little bit done today. Most sketches and a couple of finished products will be out tomorrow evening/night.

I've been obsessed with and consumed by ideas involving "muffin tops" (y'know, the chub that happens above pants, panties, skirts, etc. when they're a bit tight fitting?). And thick thighs too! I haven't been able to get these ideas out of my head since I woke up!

So... The new prescription headache pill definitely does what it's supposed to lol It does knock me out though, which is really weird for me. I'm even super resistant to anesthesia (woke up in the middle of two procedures now) and pain meds usually don't last as long as they're supposed to and hardly ever make me drowsy.

So I've been sleeping off and on, but I'm like... Not totally awake for a long while after sleeping with this medication. lol It's just weird to me.

Hopefully this is temporary because I haven't gotten nearly enough done today.

Well, I am feeling better so hopefully that part stays.

Good news is that it appears that it's nothing super serious (at least by my definition). I'm really anemic right now despite taking supplements every day as my doctor directed. So we're going to have to figure that out because my diet should be enough to keep me from being anemic let alone the supplements. And because of the anemia my blood pressure is even lower than normal at 49/87. Soo... We have to do something soon.

Otherwise... I'm being sent to an Optometrist just to make sure my slow pupil reaction time isn't due to something in my eyes (this is the light sensitivity thing).

Now the bad news, I'm being sent to a migraine specialist, but the waiting list ranges and I'm looking at a minimum 4 month wait but likely a lot longer. So my migraines will still be a part of my daily life for awhile longer. Since they're linked to my sensitive eyes and ears, I'll be working slowly still. I do have a prescription for the strongest headache medication she herself can prescribe so we'll see how that goes.

Okay, so the pills are helping, but I'm still having weird issues with lighting. TV is okay when the room is super well lit (which means hall, living room, and kitchen light because they're all dim by themselves) but any less and the headache grows again.

Kinda worried because my ears are funny too.. Lots of ringing off and on today in addition to occasional ultra sensitivity. Called the nurse associated with my insurance company and she told me signs to look for and to go to the hospital immediately if they appear (not going to mention those signs because they're tell tale of what they mean and I don't want you guys freaking out, my mom already is lol).

Otherwise, I'm to call my doctor and have some tests set up ASAP. It could be as simple as a medication needs to be changed (my meds were adjusted a few weeks back) or a rare sort of allergy and other weird but non threatening causes.

I got a little bit accomplished today but not much at all. lol Maybe I can get some lamps set up so I can comfortably use the computer longer. I dunno. But I'll figure something out!

My doctor was kind enough to send in a prescription for a pain medication meant to help with extreme headaches. She said it's basically a higher dose of two over the counter meds blended into one. And it's the strongest thing she can prescribe me without coming into the office, but she doesn't want to leave me hanging all weekend.

The prescription should be ready in a couple of hours. Fingers crossed that it's not super expensive. But either way, I've been told that I probably won't feel a whole lot better until the second dose before bed tonight. So, I'm sorry for further delays, but I'll hop to everything tomorrow.

And should I feel better, I'll post the Breeding journal thing before I sleep tonight.

Okay, I've had headaches and migraines most of my life. Typical symptoms and typical treatments (mainly Excedrin) have always brought the pain down to bearable levels. Not today.

Today I started getting a headache with symptoms similar to a migraine for me: light sensitivity, annoying "buzzy" headache (noise sensitivity, but I've described it as "buzzy" since I was a kid), and a lack of appetite. But here's the funny thing: watching TV, looking at my computer screen, or having my phone brightness on anything above the very lowest setting has started aggravating the headache rapidly to a point where I feel like I could almost pass out. It's not a fun feeling and actually kind of scary.

I'm going to try to get squeezed into the Doctor's office tomorrow or a walk in clinic if nothing else.

I'm really sorry guys, but I'm halfway bedridden and its impossible to work on my computer since I need the light setting normal to make accurate pics. I'll hopefully get prescribed something to control the pain so I can get back to work asap.

I haven't played with my drawing program yet but I'm thinking that once I've made progress with my current commissions I'll do a round or two of themed adopts on bases (old & new waitress bases, "couple base" from Aimi and female base from Aimi amongst others)

Basically, they'll get their color palette and personality from the soft or hard drink they're based off of.

Example:
Pepsi- blues, red, and white primary colors (I'll add complementary colors for eyes and such) and probably a happy go lucky personality (though that can be interpreted many ways I suppose lol)

And there'd probably be 3 tiers:

Base price (probably $5): choose gender and species (and Base I use)
Tier 2: choose gender, species, and complimentary colors
Tier 3: choose all of the above and an outfit or something lol I dunno yet

Today just sucks. I'm trying to keep looking up. I'm trying to stay happy, but all in all, I'm miserable right now.

I know you guys don't know, but I've lost roughly a dozen relatives in a little more than two years. That's just the ones closest to me. More than twice that if you include the relatives I didn't know that well. Four times that within three years if you include friends of my immediate family and family friends. A little over half a dozen of our relatives are dying right now. Roughly 75% of those lost and who we're losing now are under 65 years old. Around 25% weren't even 45 years old.

Not all were natural causes, but most are. I'm in this word zone where my depression is eating me up even more when I stop and think about what this means for my mom or other relatives I'm close to.

I'm just being whiney, I know. I've made promises so I'm not going to delve into self harm or anything.

Don't worry guys. I'm still here no matter how badly I wish I wasn't some days.

So... The cousins of my mom I mentioned before? The ones with the dad with late stage colon cancer? He's dying as we speak. Any family that visits will likely have to stay the night. We have dogs and ranch animals that need daily care. My sister was already in tears and she's too young to stay and care for these animals. I can't ask my mom to stay, and my step dad is the only other person with a license so... I said I'd stay so they won't have to rush back.

I'll work on commissions. I promise guys. It just might take longer for me to make real progress today with this horrible mood...

My youngest sister has officially become a source of daily stress. She's 16 and of course hormones can play a role, but her personality switches as quickly as her moods.

She has been tested for and scored as highly bipolar. The problem? Her psychiatrist(who recently called my previously anorexic sister fat for managing to gain 10 lbs in a month after a medication change from the hospital she was at). He will not diagnose or treat her for bipolar disorder despite her scoring. He claims that it's too early to tell, but her moods clearly dictate more than typical teenage hormones and we have a test from when she was 8 that says the same.

She has violent outbursts which usually follow with a deep melancholy depression. She also has moods where she absolutely has to pick a fight and gets super pissed whether she succeeds or not. Again, followed by depression or crying. All day this happens.

Is it normal in the state of Texas or anywhere else for a psychiatrist to blatantly ignore serious signs of bipolar disorder at her age? I mean she's having trouble at school because of this behavior and now that it's summer break it's fighting all the time over nothing.

We're trying to change her psychiatrist right now, but there's a waiting list for everyone else so we're stuck with him for the time being.

Any suggestions?
