Ye ole Carpal Tunnel
Posted 14 years agoWOW WEE! I haven't been on here in months. I mean, I guess I could've... but been lazy coming on here since I've been diagonosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Let me tell you... it Sssssuckssss!
Every time it'd heal and I'd try to do something, it would start up again. Both hands and wrists and arms, oh god. The left is significantly worse along than the right is.
Diagonosed about 6-7 years ago as Tendonitus from an old work accident (in before you guys say "DICKS!" you jerks, lol .. I was a grocery slave clerk and enjoyed the job pretty well. Until one night, when every heavy item imaginable came through my line, and OF COURSE the damn barcode had to be either on the side or on the bottom. Most people put their huge heavy items on the underside bottom of the cart making it incredibly annoying when your scanner gun cord isn't long enough. AND! The bag dudes were outside fuckin' around on the job, not even the break and not even gathering carts to come help. Yes I'm still pissed about that after all these years.)
Then .. It progressed into Carpal. No doubt from computer usage and the links. Ho ho ho!
That's my story and why nothing good has gotten done, like art. I haven't done ANY art since.. I don't know when. Since that demon vamp sketch or whatever. Just some paper doodles that I probably won't ever scan in.
Hoping to get back on track with things and create more fun stuff. :[

Posted 15 years agoWatched the original Brave Little Toaster the other day, followed by its stupid sequels.
Anyhoot. The first movie has this song... "Worthless" Holy moley ravioli. I can't stop listening to this song. It's soooo catchy. If I DO stop, the song is STILL playing but INSIDE MY HEAD. o_ o Oh gods, why. Why. WHYYYY?!?!?!!
I've tried listening to And One's "Totally Wasted," to see if that could possibly destroy the Worthless (how ironic!) song out of my head. Nope, nada, zilch. IT STILL PLAYS. The unending reign is unstoppable.

AC ffffffffffffff....
Posted 15 years agoBroken AC sure does suck. Running on 2 hours sleep for the past 2 days. I cannot sleep with no fuckin' air at all. Fans don't help. Being in Florida also doesn't help.
Luckily .. the AC repair man man man man man man man man man came today, so all's well.

Pain
Posted 15 years agoI haven't been doing any art in a while, again (though this time shorter than last). Fell while chasing my dog around the house wearing socks on tile floor (not such a great idea!)
Since the fall (nothing broken!) my wrists and hands have been acting up (already have tendonitus in both wrists from a previous work accident) and its been really killing me to do anything. They've begun to calm down from the shooting pain, still some aches and pains but its normal stuff.
I wanted to make an Easter art piece, but was prevented from doing so because of the massive doom pain. Perhaps I'll make one anyway, better late than never! Hurr.
